You Hit My Heart
Chapter 1764: Sister-In-Law

Chapter 1764: Sister-in-Law

Vicki walked down the stairs and entered the living room. The maidswho saw her quickly greeted, "Mrs. Saunders, good morning."

Vicki nodded, slightly raising her chin, exuding an inherent coldnessand a strong sense of pressure. The maids instinctively took a fewsteps back and respectfully stood to the side.

They carefully served the new mistress of the Saunders family.

One of the maids approached and asked, "Mrs. Saunders, would youlike your breakfast sent to your room or would you prefer to dine in thedining room?"

The maid glanced worriedly at the dining room as she spoke.

Vicki heard the commotion and the continuous screams coming fromthe dining room.

She sneered, "I'll go to the dining room."

"This..." Although the maid looked hesitant, she didn't dare sayanything. She gestured with a "please."

“Lead the way, Mrs. Saunders." With that, the maid walked ahead, respectfully guiding Vicki.

Vicki headed towards the noisy area.

The indoor corridor was not short in length.

Before reaching the dining room, Vicki saw Westbrook, whom she hadseen yesterday, bounding out of the dining room. He was waving aknife and fork, poking each maid's buttocks vigorously.

The maids didn't dare to resist. When they were poked too hard orcaught off guard, they jumped up and screamed in pain.

Westbrook laughed heartily, thoroughly enjoying himself.

Vicki glanced at the dining room and saw the terrible state it was in.Breakfast was scattered everywhere, eggs smashed and left on thestove, grapes and banana peels littered the floor, the table was indisarray with torn bread, jam smeared on the walls, and bacon stuffedinto the juice.

Basically, nothing was edible.

The maids saw the situation and averted their eyes, saying to Vicki,"We can prepare a separate meal for you and have it delivered to yourroom."

Vicki waved her hand. "It's fine."

She continued to take a few steps forward.

At that moment, Bride emerged from the dining room and tried to stopWestbrook. “Little brother, you shouldn't behave like this. They haveworked hard to clean up. Stop throwing things around!"

Bride was Fox's daughter and Felix's half-sister. She was wearing awhite shirt and a khaki skirt, clearly in her school uniform.

Vicki knew Bride. She was sixteen years old and currently in highschool.

Vicki observed Bride, who had a ladylike appearance with a delicateface the size of a palm. Bride slightly lowered her head, and it was easyto see that despite being a dozen years older than Westbrook, a senseof helplessness and even fear could be seen in her eyes.

"Mom, can you do something about him?" Bride turned and asked Fox,who was still sitting in the dining room.

"He's just a child. It's not a bad thing for him to be lively. Mind your ownbusiness and go to school, stop talking nonsense." A voice ofimpatience came from the dining room.

Vicki's lips curved up. It was interesting how there were misbehavingchildren just as there were parents who didn condone their actions, justas she suspected.

However, Bride was completely different from her mother in terms ofpersonality. Unfortunately, she was overly kind and a bit toosubmissive.

Westbrook became even more arrogant, pointing at Bride and scolding,"Get lost! Girls are worthless! Get out of the Saunders family!"

Bride was infuriated and on the verge of tears.

She climbed onto a chair in the living room and then onto a grandpiano.

Then, she started jumping and shouting on the piano, creating harshand discordant notes that made everyone in the room instinctivelycover their ears.

Bride couldn't bear it any longer and finally burst into tears. Sheapproached Westbrook and grabbed him, saying, "Come down, this ismy piano. It's the most precious gift from Brother Felix. You need tocome down quickly; the piano will be damaged!"

Vicki playfully observed everything.

Oh, so the way Fox treated her two children was different.

Calling her daughter worthless, it was clear that Fox had taught herthat. It turned out that Fox was one of those who favored boys overgirls. Perhaps she felt that having a daughter in the Saunders familyheld no status. Only a son could inherit the Saunders family?

Heh, what a joke. A fighter jet among the garbage.

Bride couldn't stop Westbrook, and she couldn't hold back her tearsanymore. She struck him as hard as she could.

Actually, she didn't use much force.

But Westbrook let out a scream like a pig being slaughtered. "Wah,Sister hit me! Sister hit me! Wah, it hurts so much! Mom, I'm going todie!”

Upon hearing Westbrook's cry, Fox finally rushedout of the dining room.Seeing Westbrook crying uncontrollably, she didn't hesitate and rushedforward, intending to slap Bride.

Bride, in fear, covered her head with both hands. She had been beatenby Fox many times since she was young and had developed a sense offear.

Every time, Fox would beat her mercilessly.

But this time, the slap didn't come.

After a long while, Bride cautiously released her hands and looked up.She saw a stunningly beautiful and wild-looking woman tightly grippingFox's wrist. Although she had never seen her before, she had heardthat Brother Felix had brought back a sister-in-law. Could this woman infront of her be the sister-in-law?

Tentatively, she called out, "Sister-in-law?"

Fox grew even angrier. "You dare to call her sister-in-law? Who do youthink you are? Shut up! Even if you helped her, when I'm not around, I'llstill beat her to death!"

Bride's eyes filled with immense fear.

She knew her mother was capable of doing such things, and shetrembled in fear.

"Oh, really? I'll make sure you can't move your hand then, problemsolved," Vicki said with an evil smile.

She suddenly exerted force.

There was a "crack" sound as she forcefully dislocated Fox's wrist.
