Chapter 202

Detention Center.

After Joyce met with Jacqueline and Shelly, she returned to thetemporary holding room.

It didn't take long for two female guards to walk up and open the celldoor with a harsh tone, "Joyce, come with me."

Joyce looked up at them and followed the two guards to the celldedicated to the prisoners.

Cell after cell, the prisoners inside all gathered around the bars andscrambled to see what was going on.

"There's another newcomer."

"She is pretty good-looking. Hey, what did you do?" Someone whistledand asked Joyce.

"Heh, what are you pretending, when you come here, everyone is thesame." Some people are not used to the cold and arrogant air of Joyceall over her body.

The female prison guard picked up her baton and sternly shouted back,"All of you go back and don't give me any trouble.”

Walking to the end, the female guard opened the door of one of thecells. Pushing Joyce violently from behind, she said nonchalantly, "Getin!"

Joyce was pushed in hard. The cell was large inside, with a row ofbunks that appeared to house more than a dozen people.

She moved inside and found an empty bed and sat down. Now shewas isolated from the world and felt passive. For the first time, a fear ofan unknown future grew within her heart. She did not know if she couldstill leave this hellhole.

Suddenly, a shrill rang out, her voice full of disbelief.

"Joyce?! You're Joyce!"

Joyce looked toward the voice and was surprised to see that it wasLauren. Lauren had been in the detention center for some time, and theLauren in front of her now had short hair, and many wrinkles around herforehead. It seemed that she had aged a lot, no longer the delicatewoman she once was, but she looked a bit more severe instead. Itseemed that Lauren's life in the detention center was not easy.

After seeing that it was really Joyce, she suddenly laughed wildly andleaned forward and backward, "Hahahaha, God is actually quite fair,Joyce, you are here with me now. You are in the detention center!"She stepped forward, walked around Joyce twice, and saidsarcastically, "Just such a surprise, our president's wife. What? What'swrong with you? Abandoned by the president? What a retribution!"The cell was so big, yet Joyce had nowhere else to go and had to faceit. She clenched her fist tightly and thought about what to do. It's asmall world, and she didn't expect to be in the same cell with Lauren.Lauren came closer. She picked up Joyce's chin with one hand, “Lookat you, a chicken is a chicken, did you really think you can be aphoenix? How? Fallen badly enough, right? What are you foolingaround with? You set me up and ruin my future, let me settle this scorewith you today.”

With that, Lauren clapped her hands gently. She had been in the cellfor a while and got a few followers with her age and experience. In aplace like a detention center, you got muscle, you won, or you wouldsuffer badly. Lauren had also suffered a lot when she first got in, and itwas all thanks to Joyce.

At last, she had a chance to get back to Joyce for what she hassuffered before!

Several young girls gathered around, approaching Joyce.

" Lauren, is this the bitch that framed you?" One of them asked as shemoved her hand and went up to push Joyce.
