You Hit My Heart
Chapter 215

Judith understood what Joyce was thinking and said directly, "It's truethis time. I have the paperwork stamped. Let's go, they are alreadywaiting for you." After saying that, she looked at Georgia and saidfiercely, "Get back to your second section. Someone wants to seeJoyce, and the chief has called personally tonight, so if you don't wantyour business to be exposed, get lost if you know what you're doing, and I'll pretend that nothing happened tonight. Otherwise, no one willhave a good time from now on."

The detention center was a place where the weak was meant to bebullied by the strong. If you were not tough enough, you just could notsurvive.

Georgia gritted her teeth and got up from the ground. She fell badly justnow, and the injury in her right arm was quite serious. Her sturdy bodyshaking all the way along, and she felt both wretched and reluctant. She cast them all a fierce glare, before leaving reluctantly.

Judith led Vicki and Joyce back to the cell first.

Joyce again expressed her gratitude, "Vicki, thank you so much fortonight.”

Vicki walked into the cell and said to Joyce through the bars, “I'm notgoing to do you a favor for nothing, remember you owe me a favor thatyou're going to have to pay back later."

Joyce nodded her head, looking serious "Don't worry, I will do my bestwithin my ability.”

Vicki's lips showed a smile, looking enchanting and stunning in the darknight, "Joyce, goodbye. See you later."

Joyce frowned gently, showing a puzzled look. She was only there for ashort meeting, and then she had to go back to her cell, and soon sheand Vicki would meet, so what was the “see you later” for?

"Get going. We've been delayed quite a while." Judith urged.

"Okay." Joyce followed Judith to the direction of the parlor, leavingsome distance away. She suddenly looked back, only to see Vicki stillstanding behind the bars, watching her leave. She was grateful, andcould not help but look at Vicki a few more times, as if to carve Vicki'sface firmly in her mind. Although she was in prison, she was helped byVicki. Although their experiences, personalities and lives were far apart, she was lucky to have made such a friend.

Judith walked ahead.

Joyce couldn't help but ask, "Who wants to see me this late. It'smidnight already.”

“I don't know, the chief himself called to give permission. It's a goodthing someone wanted to see you, or I wouldn't have had such an easytime getting you back from Georgia." Judith returned with a blank face.Joyce also seemed to have a background, and the warden himselfcalled in the early hours of the morning and arranged a meeting. Shehad never heard of such a thing before.

"Oh, thank you so much.” Joyce gave her thanks. It seemed that Judithwas cold-faced and warm-hearted, and she's not a bad person.

"Don't thank me, thank Vicki if you want,” Judith returned lightly."Yeah." What happened just now was really close. She felt a growingpain in her back, and it seemed that she would have to wait untilmorning to get medicine.

Walking to the door of the parlor, Judith took out the key and openedthe door.

This was not where she met Jacqueline and Shelly during the day; itappeared to be a separate parlor.

Joyce walked in alone.

When she saw the visitor, she froze.

There was no glass partition in the parlor, it was completely open. Andshe just saw Luther sitting in a chair with a document in front of him, looking cool and in a deep thought.
