Chapter 585

After Joyce and Karl discussed the matter, Karl left first for something inthe police station.

She finished her lunch and took the subway back to the R&S Groupheadquarters alone.

When she arrived at the headquarters and withstood the strange staresin the hall downstairs, she went to the automotive project team on thetwelfth floor of the group, opened her computer and started working.Yesterday afternoon they were all suddenly brought to the seasidetown, and she had not returned until now. She was now quite behindher schedule already.

With Charlotte and Luther's engagement just days away, she had tofinish her work on the new design at hand before they got engaged.After that, she intended to leave R&S Group, but about what to do afterthat, she had not yet thought about it, so she would just take a step at atime.

Juanita made Joyce a mocha coffee and quietly came over to her,asking in a whisper.

"Joyce, are you okay from last night."

Joyce looked up at the sound of her voice and smiled slightly, "It's okay.It's not like what's written on the internet, don't believe it."

“I was confused when boss followed you out of the car. Did you havelunch? Why are you back so late? Do you want me to buy a sandwichfor you?" Juanita asked one question after another, concerned.

"No, I've already had lunch. And, I went to the Second Precinct of thePolice Department at noon today and had lunch with Karl at a nearbyrestaurant.”

Joyce did not hide but told her everything, "Juanita, you do not worry, Irecently had a plan, and I just need to discuss with him. I'll tell you allthe details later, because I need your help too."

If she kept an eye on Charlotte all day long, she might get easilydetected. There were some things that would be more secure if Juanitawere to step in, and she planed to tell Juanita all about her plans.

"Ah."

Juanita's watery eyes fluttered as Joyce's stern look cheered her upand she hurriedly responded, "Yes!"

No matter what Joyce wanted to do, she would support her.

“Tonight, when we get off work, we'll replace a place to have dinnertogether and I'll tell you more about it."

Joyce nodded gently at Juanita, casting a trusting glance.

"Hmm. By the way, you and boss were photographed this morning, andthe news has been all over the internet. However, someone havealready been deleting them one after another. I just searched it andmost of the posts could not be found now." Juanita reminded.

"Yeah?" Puzzled, Joyce took out her phone and opened the headlinesto look through them, and sure enough, the news about her had beenremoved from the trending searches.

Strange, did Luther have it removed? But he clearly didn't care at thetime, and he was the one who exposed it, so how could he be so kindas to remove the posts?

“Do you know who could possibly have used their connections to deletethese posts?" Juanita mysteriously leaned closer to Joyce's ear andlowered her voice.

"Who?" Joyce was even more puzzled.

"I asked a friend at the media center and it was the Henderson family"son, Justin who had the news removed."

Juanita shrugged and made a surprised face, "My friend said thatJustin rarely uses his power to do this kind of thing. This is probably thefirst ime too. They all say that Justin is worried about the Hendersonfamily's reputation and is determined to marry you by clearing all thehurdles.”

Joyce listened, her good-looking brow furrowed.

She didn't expect it to be Justin who removed the news from thetrending searches and deleted all the posts about her on the internet.
