You Hit My Heart
Chapter 589

Shelly followed Joyce all the way to the restaurant and came to thefront door, where she was stopped by the security guard.

"Sorry, Miss. The restaurant is holding an exclusive event today, pleasecome back tomorrow." The security guard said.

"An exclusive event? A restaurant of this size?" Shelly was at firstshocked and then angry. Justin threw a lot of money away, but it wasfor that bitch Joyce.

The restaurant doors were closed.

She poked her head in and looked hard.

When she saw the pathway into the restaurant flanked by lilies androses, she certainly understood what Justin was about to do with Joycetonight.

Just in the morning, Justin took away the blue diamond ring in front ofher and she wondered if he was going to propose to Joyce, so sherushed to the R&S Group headquarters to keep an eye on Joyce. Justas she expected, Joyce took a taxi to the restaurant after work, andwas definitely there to see Justin.

"Miss, you can't do that.” The security guard stepped forward to blockher sight. This woman was dressed quite fashionably, but she waspoking around all the time, and he had no idea what she wanted to do."Jesus. How dare you look at me like that! I'll buy this place tomorrow.Do you believe it?!" Shelly glared hard at the security guard withdissatisfaction. Originally, she had been upset enough in her heart. The guard didn't seem to be worried about what she said and blockedthe door with his body.

Shelly had to left unhappily.

She was so anxious that she stomped her feet. How could she stopJustin from proposing to that bitch Joyce?

Just when she was at a loss, she saw Joyce walking out of therestaurant from afar.

She hurriedly hid behind a large stone pillar nearby and watchedJoyce's movements.

"Weird, Joyce is out so soon?" Shelly mumbled, "Who is she calling?Bitch, after cheating on Justin, she's going to see another guy?"

She thought about the blue diamond ring and Justin's rejection of her,and her jealousy had been completely out of control. No matter what, she would not let Joyce have an easy time today! She would makeJoyce pay for it!

Joyce left the restaurant and went straight to the door.

The security guard opened the iron gate and respectfully let her go.Joyce took out her cell phone as she walked and called Juanita.

"Hey Juanita, there's been a change of plans, I'm out now. You can stillwait for me at the headquarters.”

"Ah, it's only been a while, and you've already finished your dinner? Ihaven't even gone to the cafeteria yet!" On the phone, Juanitaexclaimed.

“I haven't had dinner yet either. In that case, you can just take a taxinow to the Café Jane restaurant as planned, and I'll go ahead andorder some food." Joyce raised her wrist and looked at the time. It wasstill early.

"Ah, why didn't you eat dinner. What's wrong?" Juanita didn'tunderstand what happened.

“I will tell you when we meet."

"Okay, I'll be right over there, wait for me."

"Okay. Hang up now."

Joyce hung up the phone just as the light turned green on the sidewalk, and she followed the flow of people across the street.

Then she walked up to the overpass and prepared to walk in thedirection of Café Jane.

At this time, it had been completely dark all around, yet the streetlampsalong the overpass were long broken, only emitting a dim miserableyellow light. Everything around her seemed to be blurred.

People came and went in twos and threes.

As she walked, Joyce felt that something seemed wrong, and that thereseemed to be a dark shadow following behind her all the time.

An inexplicable sense of oppression hit her heart.

It's not that she hadn't experienced such a thing before. She could stillremember clearly that night when Charlotte instructed Thomas tomolest her. So she was extra careful, and every step she took, she wascautious.
