Summary
"Come out, you coward!" I growl, not that they'll know what I said if they don't speak wolf. The bush shakes again and this time moves violently as if the creature or creatures have obeyed. But my jaw drops as the most magnificent silver fur beast makes its way into the clearing. His eyes hold mine captive and it feels like we have unknowingly commenced a staring competition. Who's going to blink first? "You are not at all like what I expected." He comments in a calm tone and I replace myself narrowing my eyes. "Oh really? What were you expecting." "I thought you were as sweet when awake as you are when asleep." "You were watching me sleep?" My tone raised a semi-tone higher. "How could I not, you are very pretty when you are." "Have you never heard the saying, let sleeping dogs lie?" I growl becoming angered by his bold, yet flattering confession. "I. Hate. Being. Awoken." I punctuate each word with each step I took closer to him. "Noted, princess." He slightly bows his head in respect with a smile. Gosh, why did that make my heart flutter?
