Here they are on his friends' cruise. But she is so agitated she couldn't understand why. She stepped onto a wooden plank to cross to the cruise; she felt that she couldn't breathe. He notices his wife's uneasiness.

"Sweetheart, are you OK? You're so pale." He held his wife inside the cruise and led her to the couch in a waiting lounge.

He looked for some water to give her. Timing, when he saw a crew, asked for some water from him.

The crew returned with a water bottle in his hand. He opened it and gave it to her

"Here sweetheart".

"Thank you!" she said. She said she took the water and drank it.

While attending to his wife, he notices that his friend is coming to them. He stood up to greet his friend.

"It's good to see you again, Leandro; it's been a long time, huh?" he said, tapping his shoulder.

"I agree, I think it's almost two years or so." He agreed.

"I heard that you've got married. I saw in the article that you're engaged to be married with that model, Margot," his friend said.

He stiffened when he heard the name of his unfaithful ex-fiancee. Though he already forgives them, Lizzy doesn't know about it. They never talked about their past. How they met was all lies. It's all his invented stories to secure Lizzy's trust about him.

He glanced at his wife, who was silently holding the water bottle, and from time to time she sipped from it.

He doesn't know if she heard what Jason said about Margot. But looking at his wife, it seems that she didn't hear it because there was no reaction from her. Or maybe she heard it, but she knows how to keep it to herself. She acts naturally. He moved closer to his wife and held her hand to help her stand.

"By the way, Jason, this is my wife. Clarissa Lizbeth or just Lizzy. Lizzy, this is Jason; he's the owner of this cruise." He introduced them to each other.

"Nice to meet you, Lizzy; I hope you'll enjoy this trip." Jason kissed her in both cheeks.

"Sure we will; we'll see you around Jason," said Lizzy, smiling at his friend

"How are you feeling, sweetheart?" he asked when she finally let go of his hand.

Looking at her right now, he could sense that there was something she wanted to talk about but didn't try to open her mouth.

He could feel in his gut that she must have heard it

Her aura suddenly changed. From the cheerful Lizzy to becoming quite.

He suddenly became nervous.

What she will leave him if she discovers the truth.

He pushed aside the thought of it and looked at his wife when she asked him if she could go up on the deck.

"Of course, sweetheart, but be careful. Hold the railing okay, I'll join you," he said, making his voice sound cheerful.

When his wife was walking up the steps, he quickly came over to Jason.

He told him to never mention Margot because Lizzy didn't know about her. He told him that Lizzy has amnesia right now. And he was to make good memories with her. He also told him the reason why he didn't marry Margot. "I'm sorry, buddy; I wish I knew. I hope that Lizzy didn't hear what I say. As I can see, she seems so sweet," Jason said, tapping his shoulder.

"Thank you, buddy; I cannot afford to lose her," he replied.

"Where is she?' Jason asked him

"She went up the deck; I'll come up to join her there now," he replied

"Okay, let's go; I'm going up too," Jason said. They

While he is on his way to the deck. He heard a scream from his wife. He ran up faster, leaving Jason behind

He's worried that something might happen to his wife.

His heart was hardly punched when he saw the position of his wife.

She's holding the railing too tight, and he could see that her hands are almost white.

She's crying, screaming, and calling Clarissa's name.

"My ring.!"

Why is she calling Clarissa's name? Isn't that her name?

He kneeled and hugged her. He could feel that she is so scared because she is trembling in fear.

After a while, she lost consciousness. He carried her to go down and saw fear in Jason's eyes.

Both of them knew that the moment had come. The moment of truth about his wife.

"Let's go down to one of the bedrooms downstairs. Lay her there until she wakes up," Jason told him, guiding him to the said room. He followed Jason.

She laid down his wife in a bed. He didn't leave his eyes on her. Jason checked her pulse and nodded. Gesturing a thumbs up.

He only acknowledges it by doing the same thing.

His eyes were glued to his. wife.

He wanted to see her reaction when she woke up.

Suddenly Jason came back, holding a glass of water and a glass of wine. He didn't notice him when he got out of the room after he checked her. Jason has a background in medical fields. Because his parents wanted him to become a doctor, but he insisted that he would do his passion while studying as a doctor.

"Here," he said, giving him a glass of wine, and he put down the glass of water for his wife later.

"Knowing you, I know that this woman has impacted almost everything in your life. You're not the same Leandro that I have known. I saw how you look at her. The way you hold her. I never saw that gesture in your previous relationships. Even for "Jason narrated. He didn't mention the name of his ex.

"Yeah, and I'm scared right now," he admitted to his friend

"What if she will remember her previous life? What if she will forget me? What if she will go back to those people in her past?" he said in a hoarse voice. He controls his emotion, though deep down inside her inner being is crying at the thought of losing her.

Jason is just tapping his shoulder.

Though they seldom saw each other, he knew that he was a true friend.

He drank the wine in his glass and placed the wine glass beside the water for his wife.
