Leandro's POV

After they had breakfast, they went around the winery. There were carts that could be used because the previous owner had left it. After all, they could not be of use since he's already living in Vietnam. With the amount of money he got off selling his winery. That was more than enough in settling in Vietnam.

He was happy as he watched his wife busy taking pictures of what she thought was beautiful.

He must have just seen a vineyard because he looked like a child who was excited about the grapes. There were a few grape plants along the way.

The winery area was large, and from what he knew, according to the map of the area, the total area, including the vineyards, was twenty hectares. "Can we pick some to eat?" he asked her.

"Yes, Ma'am, but not here; it's a tree. There are plants here that are really edible," Eliseo replied.

"Ah, you mean it's not edible?" he pointed at the grapes they were passing by.

"It's edible, ma'am, but it's not ripe yet. I have delicious varieties of plants; they're delicious; some are ripe," the man replied. "Okay, that's it," his wife said.

The man drove their vehicle to the grapes that Eliseo would give to his wife.

They arrived at the cottage where the family lived.

The man got out of the cart.

"The grapes are here, by the cottage," the man said.

"Do you live here?" his wife asked.

"Yes, Ma'am," he replied.

"Your house is beautiful," he complimented Eliseo's house.

It was probably only as big as their room, but it was clean and tidy. There were vegetable and fruit plants around it.

"Thank you very much, Ma'am. The previous owner and I lived here. This is where my wife and I met until we started a family. That's why we never left here. They made us their stewards, and we thanked them," the man replied. A little later, a woman came out, almost the same age as Eliseo. She was probably his wife.

"She's my wife, Sarah," Eliseo introduced himself to his wife.

"Hello, Ma'am!" his wife greeted the woman.

He seemed embarrassed to greet them.

"We have arranged the rooms in the villa; we clean them every day so that if you decide to come, you will have somewhere to sleep," he said in Italian.

"Thank you very much; I guess we will sleep here for now," he replied to the woman.

"Do you have children?" his wife asked.

"There are two men; they are in the vineyard with other people," Eliseo answered. That's why he only saw a few people nearby; the people were in the vineyard.

"Is it okay for us to eat lunch here?" the woman asked.

"Yes, let's just eat here," his wife answered.

Who was he to say no? There was nothing wrong with them eating there at Eliseo's house. Their home was clean even though it was small. And he knew his wife would enjoy it here.

"Will you come with me, sweetheart? We'll go around again," he asked her, because she seemed more interested in picking grapes.

"Yes, of course I want to go around again," she answered enthusiastically and got back into the cart.

"I'll pick grapes later when we get back," she added.

"Right, so it's fresh," she answered.

They really need to stay in this place for a few days. He hasn't seen the inside of the winery yet.

He told the previous owner that if the staff were doing a good job, he didn't want to replace them. Because it would be difficult for everyone to get along with each other if they were new. At least they were all used to each other's work and habits; there would be no adjustments.

But of course, even if the previous owner has told them that, it's still different when the assurance comes directly from his mouth.

They are now on their way to the entrance of the winery.

"Wow! Are those filled with wine? His wife said happily, seeing those barrels. It is neatly lined up in its respective rack.

"Yes, sweetheart, did you know that they come in different flavours?" he told her.

"Really?" she replied happily.

His wife is really innocent; it's nice to love her because she appreciates even the smallest things.

"Who manages everything, I mean, the entire vineyard and winery?" he asked Eliseo.

"I am, sir, since I worked here for the previous owner before Sir Gallo. I learnt it from the previous owner before Sir Gallo," he replied.

"Does that mean Leandro is the third person to own this property?" his wife asked.

"Yes, Ma'am," the man replied.

"You should also teach your children so that they too can follow in your footsteps," she said.

"Yes, Ma'am, that's why they were there in the vineyard to visit the workers. I hope you are here from harvest to wine processing," he added.

"We will; I really want to see how the wines are made," she replied happily.

He sees in his wife an interest in work. She becomes a good leader one day. She's still young; she will learn more as she goes along.

But he doesn't want her to work; he just wants her to be by his side to support him. Like now. The environment is different when he's with her. It gives a good ambiance.

"This afternoon, when it's not hot, I'll take you on a tour of the vineyard," Eliseo said.

"Sure, we have all the time; we will stay here until the day after tomorrow," he replied.

He has asked a personal servant to pack their things for them, and they are in the car; he will ask the driver to bring it inside the villa later. Then he would let his driver have his day off and come back only when they were ready to go back to Florence.

He wants to meet all the workers in person. So they have to stay for now. Also, he wanted to thank them personally, because despite not being able to visit them in the past few months-eight months, to be exact-they stayed to take care of the vineyard and winery.

He bought the vineyard and winery before he caught them the betrayal. That's why he didn't have the chance to visit it and to at least give them a get-together party. The negotiations were made in his office in the presence of each other's lawyer.
