AFTER I AMAZED 205
Chapter 205
There was a heavy silence on the other end of the line.
I could hear Leo's shallow breathing, and I knew that he was struggling with his own emotions, just as I was. But it felt like a knife had been thrust into my chest.
All of the days, the nights of exhaustion, the efforts I had poured into Silvermoon-none of it seemed to matter.
Under Leo's questioning, everything I had done felt worthless.
heart shattered as I realized how deeply misunderstood I was.
I took a deep breath, trying to steady myself.
"Leo, please... I didn't mean it like that. You don't understand-"
Before I could say anything more, a loud crash shook the vehicle.
I gasped, my heart racing, as a sharp pain jolted through my abdomen.
The car swerved violently, and my vision blurred.
"Protect Luna!" I heard a panicked shout, followed by the screech of tires.
Masked warriors appeared out of nowhere, blocking the road and surrounding the vehicle.
They moved quickly, stealthily, as if they were shadows coming from every direction.
I couldn't think straight.
The pain in my abdomen intensified, and I felt warm, sticky blood trickling down my legs.
Panic washed over me as I realized the baby was coming... too soon.
"Elizabeth, what's wrong with you? Elizabeth?"
Leo's frantic voice echoed through the phone, but his words were drowned out by the chaos around me.
I collapsed back into my seat, clutching my abdomen.
My phone screen shattered in my hand as I dropped it, the world spinning out of control around me.
The pain was unbearable.
I could feel my body convulsing, and I could only watch as the blood continued to pour from me, pooling in the seat beneath me.
It felt like my body was betraying me.
The pain was unlike anything I had ever felt before.
It was as if my entire being was being torn apart from the inside.
I couldn't breathe. I couldn't think.
The only thing I could focus on was the sharp pain and the realization that my baby was coming too early.
"Elizabeth! Please, answer me!"
Leo's voice came through, desperate now, but I couldn't respond.
I was too weak, too broken.

Chapter 205
My vision faded, and I felt my consciousness slipping away.
But even in the haze of pain, I couldn't stop thinking about him.
I couldn't stop thinking about how, in the end, it wasn't just my body that was suffering-it was my heart, too.
I was carrying his child, and yet, I felt more alone than ever. Misunderstood. Abandoned.
Before I completely lost consciousness, I recalled the tender words Leo had whispered to me.
He had promised he would never leave me, that we would be together, that we would raise this child as a family.
But now, those words felt empty, a cruel reminder of the distance between us.
blood dripped from my body, mingling with the tears that streamed down my face.
It wasn't just the physical pain-it was the emotional anguish that tore at me, the feeling of betrayal and isolation, that made me feel as though I might never recover.
Third POV:
The hospital was a chaotic blur of activity.
Doctors and nurses rushed in and out of the labor ward, and the sharp scent of blood lingered in the air.
The tension was suffocating, and the atmosphere felt heavy with fear.
Daria sat on a bench, her hands clasped tightly together, her eyes shut in silent prayer.
Orlando had been notified and was already on his way back, but Daria's brother... He was nowhere to be found.
Leo's phone was off, and even Panther couldn't be reached.
Daria's eyes were red from crying, and she hit her lip, trying to hold back her emotions.
She had heard the news about Elizabeth's condition, and all she could do was hope.
Hope that the baby would be born safely. Hope that her sister would survive.
The door to the delivery room opened suddenly, and the doctor rushed out, sweat dripping from his forehead. Daria jumped to her feet, her heart pounding in her chest. "How is she?" she asked, her voice trembling.
The doctor took off his mask, his face drawn with exhaustion.
"Blood transfusion," he said in a low voice. "But it's still not good. Her condition can't handle the birth. If we push her too hard, she might die
Daria's heart sank at the doctor's words.
"We have to... we have to let her give birth," she said, her voice trembling with desperation. "The baby is innocent. We can't let the child die because of this."
Cecily stepped forward, a cold smirk playing on her lips.
"Let her give birth," she whispered conspiratorially. "I think this is her fate. But the baby is innocent, and we must save the baby."
