After I Amazed the World the Cold Alpha Regretted -
AFTER I AMAZED 37
Chapter 37
I sneered and threw the cheque in her face.
She felt insulted and angrily rushed up trying to scratch my face with her nailss.
Before I could react, a figure appeared from the side.
She quickly punched Aria in the face, and Aria stumbled and fell to the ground in a terrible
heap.
was Emma, she was still protecting me as she always did before.
She was furious and growled, "Get back in your pack! Women like you who destroy other people's families are not welcome here!" Aria's face was streaked with tears, "I'm the future Luna! Just you wait, I'll be the first to banish you when the time comes!" Moments later, Leo burst into the café.
His eyes scanned the scene, settling on Aria, who was now showing him her bruises and the damaged flowers. "Elizabeth did this," she accused, her voice laden with dramatic distress.
"Elizabeth scratched my face and threw flowers at my face because I offered the money to help her but she is just so jealous."
Leo's gaze turned to me, his eyes hard with expectation. "What's going on?"

I opened my mouth to explain, but before I could utter a word, the café door swung open
once more.
Rolin strode in, a huge bouquet of flowers in hand.
He moved with an effortless grace that drew everyone's attention.
With a charming smile, he addressed the room.
"She won't be able to look at these for you."

She didn't let up. Grabbing the bouquet, she held it up.
"These flowers are my favorite. Leo gets them for me every day, even though I mentioned
them only once."
odded calmly, a little frustrated.
Leo had never given me such thoughtful gifts.
I had always believed his lack of romance was due to his busy Alpha life, not because he
didn't care.
Aria's show of affection felt like salt in an old wound.
Noticing my slight change of emotion, Aria continued.
"You know, Leo and I have always had a special connection. We've shared so many intimate
moments."
I could tell she was deliberately provoking me. It was boring.
"I'm not interested in hearing about your relationship with Leo," I said, standing up. "I need to get back to work.

Aria's grip tightened around my arm.
"You're not going anywhere until you promise me." she insisted, her voice sharp. "You can't break my love for Leo again."
I sarcastically replied "Leo and I are not divorced and you are the one who is destroying other people's families."
Aria condescendingly wrote out a cheque and said
"aren't you here for the money, now I'll give you double and don't let me see you in Silvermoon."

He handed me the bouquet, then wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me close.
Without warning, he leaned in and kissed me deeply.
The kiss was passionate and lingering, leaving me breathless.
The café fell silent, the shock palpable.
Leo's face turned a deep shade of crimson, his anger evident. I had never seen him so
Ntious.
"Who is this man?" he growled, his voice tinged with possessiveness and anger.
I looked at him, confused and somewhat irritated.
"Why do you care who I'm with? We're in the process of getting a divorce. Why should it matter to you who I choose to be with?" Leo's face hardened further.
"We're not officially divorced yet. Until that's settled, you have no right to move on."
I raised an eyebrow, a smirk playing on my lips.
"And what about Aria?"
Leo hesitated, his face twitching with irritation.
"It's different," he finally muttered, but his words were unconvincing.
Aria, clearly enjoying the spectacle, snickered.
"This bouquet of roses isn't worth much. The new man you've found is obviously poor and
pathetic."
I barely flinched at her jibe.
Rolin, however, seized the moment.
He leaned in, his lips brushing mine in a kiss that was both tender and defiant.

"Look inside the bouquet," he whispered against my lips.
I glanced at the bouquet, noticing for the first time a small jewelry box nestled among the
roses.
My hands trembled slightly as I opened it, revealing an opulent necklace.
The jewels sparkled with a brilliance that was almost blinding-a rare, collector's item that had recently been auctioned for an astronomical price.
The intricate design and dazzling gems left everyone in awe.
The room fell silent, except for the gasps of amazement.
Aria's eyes widened in greed, her gaze fixed on the necklace with an almost predatory
intensity.
Rolin, wrapping his arm around my waist protectively, spoke with a smooth, confident tone.
"This necklace doesn't even begin to match her worth."
