AFTER I AMAZED 46
Chapter 46
I didn't respond. Instead, I lost myself in the music, letting the melodies and harmonies fill
the room and drown out the distractions.
One morning, as I was immersed in practice, I heard the door to the music room creak
open.
Expecting it to be a student, I was about to send Leo away when I saw that the figures in the doorway were Rolin and another man.
The man wore a hat pulled low, obscuring his face.
Leo's demeanor changed instantly.
He stood up, his face hardening with visible hostility.
The atmosphere shifted palpably as Rolin and the man entered.
"I heard the wonderful sound of the piano," Rolin said with a reassuring smile. "I thought I'd
bring Orlando to meet you."
At the mention of Orlando's name, my heart skipped a beat.
The man removed his hat, and I was greeted by the face of a legend.
Orlando Martin, a name that resonated deeply in the world of music.
He was a renowned pianist, famous not only for his extraordinary talent but also for his
notoriously unpredictable temperament.
Stories of his genius were as well-known as the tragedies of his past-losing his wife and child in a tragic accident years ago.
The rumors about him were a mix of admiration and apprehension.
Seeing him in person was both exhilarating and nerve-wracking.
Leo, standing beside me, seemed taken aback as well, his expression betraying his surprise.

Orlando Martin was a striking figure of elegance and gravity.
His tall, imposing frame was accentuated by the sharp lines of his tailored suit, which seemed to drape flawlessly over his shoulders.
With his chiseled features, high cheekbones, and a strong jawline, he exuded an air of
effortless charm and nobility.
His piercing blue eyes, framed by dark, tousled hair, held a depth of emotion that hinted at
oth his tragic past and his remarkable talent.
Every movement he made, every glance, carried an undeniable sense of regal bearing, making him appear as if he had stepped out of a classic painting of a bygone era. Rolin gave me an encouraging nod, signaling me to stay calm.
"Don't be nervous. I told Orlando I would bring him to meet you."
Orlando's initially serious expression softened into a smile.
"That was an impressive performance," he said, his voice carrying a warmth that was
unexpected. "Do you know who I am?"
Excited and nervous, I nodded vigorously.
"Yes, Mr. Winter. I've heard a lot about you."
Orlando's curiosity seemed piqued. "Why are you teaching here? You're clearly very talented. Don't you aspire to perform on a larger stage?"
I said with a smile, "This is just the beginning. Of course, I hope to step onto a bigger stage...'
Rolin gave an encouraging smile from the side. But at that moment, Leo's face clouded over.
Leo, sensing my discomfort, stepped in.
"She's my Luna," he said, his tone firm. "She's here to play in the human world for a while but will return to the pack later to fulfill her duties as a Luna." Orlando, however, seemed to deliberately ignore Leo's explanation.

His attention remained fixed on me, and he seemed to sense the turmoil beneath my calm
exterior.
His expression grew serious with concern.
"Have you ever heard my compositions?" he asked.
I nodded again. "Yes, I have."
lando's face lit up with a hint of a smile. "Would you play one for me?"
"Of course, sir," I replied, feeling both honored and anxious.
I took a deep breath and chose to perform one of Orlando's famous pieces, "A Rite of Love
Ode."
As my fingers danced across the keys, the notes filled the room with an emotive and hauntingly beautiful melody.
I watched Orlando closely, noticing how his eyes misted over and deep emotion spread
across his face.
When the final note lingered in the air and the music came to an end, Orlando reached out to me, his voice trembling slightly.
"You play this piece just like your mother did," he said, his tone heavy with nostalgia. "It's as if I'm hearing her again."
I froze, my breath caught in my throat.
"Sir, what do you mean?" I asked, my voice barely more than a whisper.
Orlando's face turned even more solemn.
"Elizabeth, my baby," he choked out. "You're the child I lost. I found you through your
music."
The shock of his words was so overwhelming that I could hardly breathe.
The room fell into deep silence as Orlando's cue hit me.

My breath catches in my throat and my heart races as I stare at him.
"No, it's not right." Leo's sharp gaze looked at Orlando, "Elizabeth's parents are Alpha and Luna of the spectral pack's and in all these years they never said Elizabeth was adopted."
"No," I shook my head and said to Leo, "I've mentioned to you that I'm not their biological daughter. I was adopted."
Leo looked at me in disbelief.
"Why didn't you mention it to me?"
"Actually, I've told you more than once. But whenever I brought up my family affairs, you would mock my sister Alice as a complete fool, and then our conversation would end there." I said calmly, "You never cared about what I wanted to say." tax I Ama
