A voice snaps at Jade.

"I'm sorry" Jade apologizes to her, wanting to get this over with, notliking her presence and attitude at all. Something inside Jade kepttelling her that she was trouble.

"Sorry?" the same voice snorts, Jade could feel the she-wolf movetowards where she stood. She stood so close to Jade that she couldsmell her flowery scent directly under her nose. Her voice made Jadecringe inwardly, it was high pitched and nasally. Hurting Jade's ears andhead equally.

"Listen here you-" she starts to say but gets cut-off by someone elsespeaking up. Their deep voice making Jade's heart to beat fast in herchest.

“Lucia” The scent of vanilla engulfs Jade as he comes forward to standbeside Lucia and directly infront of her.

"Hey Baby" the girl who stood before Jade named Lucia, almost purrsout. Trying to sound seductive, her demeanor instantly changing uponhearing Adryan's voice. Jade's chest constricts upon hearing herendearment for him. Kira whining in her head.

Jade could feel his intense stare set on her figure, she bows her headlooking down towards the floor. She didn't want him to see the look ofhurt on her face.

"What are you doing here?" Adryan asks Lucia.

He could feel Lucia's agitation upon him interfering her possible nextvictim to bully, who just happens to be his mate. Even though he didn'tacknowledge his mate that didn't mean that he was going to let thisbitch boss his mate around. If she thought she could get away withthat, she had another thing coming.

Lucia was nothing but a meaningless fuck to him. She was just a merecompany he kept around to stop him from feeling lonely at night.

"I was just coming towards our room baby" she starts saying "untill Istumbled upon this bitch" Lucia sneer out, Jade's breath hitches for asecond when she takes in Lucia's words. They were sharing a roomtogether? Was she his girlfriend? She might be the one he was sleepingwith, her suspicions were right.

Adryan lowly curses under his breath, why the hell would she say that?!And that too infront of his mate. Adryan could feel Vince clawing at hismental walls, wanting to be in control of his human side as anger fillshim.

Now Jade could feel the heat of Lucia's glare on her. She didn't knowwhat she did to make Lucia hate her so much, without even getting toknowing her. She should be the one who should be angry at Lucia forsleeping around with her mate, but she wasn't the only one to blame.Despite knowing the fact that he was hurting Jade by sleeping withother she wolves, he continued to do so. Her sleepness nights were aresult of their actions

"Let's go" he speaks up after a few moments of his silence, still keepinghis eyes trained on Jade.

Adryan wanted to hold Jade so badly but he stopped himself at the lastmoment.

Jade could feel them move away and a few seconds later she heard thesound of their retreating footsteps as they both climb up the stairs."What a bitch” Malia's words snaps Jade out of her thoughts about hermate.

"What?" Jade asks her in confusion.

"Lucia is such a bitch, she likes to bully the ones that seem like aweakling to her. Plus she was lying about going into the Alpha's room.He hates it when anyone enters his room, with or without hisknowledge. It's like one of the forbidden places in the pack house."Malia's words confused Jade. Why was his room forbidden to everyoneelse?.

"What's inside the room?" Jade couldn't help herself but ask Malia thequestion.

"I don't know honestly, nobody does in the pack. Everyone is afraid ofthe Alpha so no one ever tried snooping around. Unless they want theirhead to be served on a silver platter that is." Malia says, slight fearcoating her words.

"Who is she?" Jade had been wanting to know about her since the firsttime she smelt her flowery scent on him.
