Bahia POV

The humans had different Smells. Some smell of greed while others smell pure but all the same, humans were Vile creatures and they deserved the rule of the vampires years ago. Lord Franco's greedy acts made him lose his soul and became nothing but a mindless soul walking around. Since Lord Franco had been missing for two days, I had to return to his clan before anyone could suspect anything. Although the humans were all scattered around the world, a lot had returned to their Clan for hiding until the war ended.

"I can sensed a huge power here," Hera said as the Limousine we rode in drove into the community.

"How do vou mean?" I asked.

"A spell has been casted on this community," she answered.

I had no idea what she meant but I hoped she figured it out on her own and tell me when she does.

The black limousine that took us to the community stopped at the front of a mansion belonging to Lord Franco.

The human community was a large one and as I have heard from my spy in the human community, I was informed that about ten thousand humans were living in the community and headed by no other person than the greedy Lord Franco. "Welcome Lord Franco," A Bulky man with a large Scar on the left side of his face opened the Limo door and bowed his head. "How was your trip, sir?" He asked.

1 smelled him and closed my eyes inhaling the sweetness of his soul. He smelt pure and his soul would be perfect for me to consume to have my own body back. "Remind me where I had gone to again," I played dunk because no one told me that Lord Franco was going on a trip. Not even Kaptu and Hera had captured him.

"You had gone on a trip to pray my lord." The man answered.

"Oh," I smiled. "The prayer took a huge one on me," I lied. "You must have heard that I bought a friend from my prayer ground," I pointed inside the limo and beckoned for Hera and Kaptu to come out of the Limousine.

Just like me, Kaptu was granted a new body by one of Franco's men. "She is Lady Hera and she had come to pray for our land." I introduced Hera to the bulky which I don't even know his name.

"Welcome Lady Hera," The man bowed his head.

"Hello," Hera offered her hand and ine bulky man looked ht me before he took the hand. "Bless your soul," Hera smiled at him and loked around.

"This community is protected with a strong Barrier. Why is that?"

The man cleared his throat and withdrew his hand from Hera's. "My lord, your Wife Lady Cleopatra awaits your return," he pointed into the Mansion.

I exchanged looks with Hera knowing that something was wrong. He had avoided Hera's question for a reason and I was going to replace out in a hard way. "Lead the way," I said to the man.

He bowed and turned to leave and we all trailed behind him. The mansion was a large one and while we passed the lobby, I stared at the portraits on the wall. The first painting was a painting of their first lord. The one that existed before the vampires took over the world. The one who should be the lord of the lords.

How could they have a painting of him? I wondered as most of those who were alive at that time would have died unless someone was born with an artistic gift and saw the previous lord in the dream. The second painting was of Lord Franco and I frowned at how his head looked big in the painting. The third painting was of his family. Himself, his wife, and his son.

I frowned when I saw the portrait of his family. I had to pretend to be a family man until the war was over. It's was messed up but there was nothing I could do. "Franco!" An annoying voice sounded from the grand stairs in Lord Franco's Mansion and a red-haired woman rushed towards me and kissed me on the lips. The first I smelled from her was greed.

Two greedy couples, how unfortunate.

"Eeew," I pushed her away and saw the look of shock on her face.

"Is anything wrong Franco?" She asked.

"Yes," Hera answered in my stead.

"Who are you?" Cleopatra stood in front of Hera with her hand folded together. "Where do you come from?"

Compared to Hera in height and beauty, Cleopatra was Zero. She had freckles on her face, wrinkles on her neck, and at that, she was a short petite woman. "Why are you with my husband?" She asked possessively.

I clenched my fists and forced a smile on my face trying to pretend to be Lord Franco. "Honey," I called her attention. "She is a friend from my prayer ground. The trip I told you I was going to," I said through gritted teeth.

"Oh,

"She palmed her forehead. "I forgot about your trip." She walked towards me and placed a hand on my chest.

"Lady Cleopatra," Hera grabbed her hand and removed it from my chest.

Why the hell did she do that? I thought and glared at their eye when she made eye contact with me. Why would she do that and risk our identity?

"What are you doing?" Lady Cleopatra asked.*

"Our lord just came back from prayers. You touching him would ruin his prayer. He needs to be holy." Hera said.

That's was what she could come up with? After she almost ruined our plan.

"Holy?" Cleopatra asked.

'Yes, Holy. For his prayers, I have to assist him and pray alongside him."

Hera told her and Cleopatra nodded in agreement.

Couldn't believe humans could be so gullible?

"Great idea. It's will only add to the one on ground." Cleopatra smiled.

The one on ground? I cleared my throat and proceed to ask questions about what she meant. "The one on ground? What did I miss when I was not around?" I asked.

"Meetings but Justus will tell you everything you need to know," he pointed to the bulky man.

So Justus was the bulky man's name after all. "I'll take her to her room

Cleopatra grabbed Hera's hand and pulled her away.

Hera frowned and mouthed a word I couldn't understand before she was dragged away by Cleopatra. "So tell me," I turned towards Justus. "What happened when I was gone." I walked into the living room and took a seat on one of the large Brown Couch in Franco's living room. It's was a modern type of living room with Three couches, A flat TV screen, rose flowers placed on every corner, and a glass table with a golden elephant on top.

Lord Franco must be a man of incredible wealth

"You missed two meetings my lord but we got information from the king."

He informed.

"About what?" I asked.

"Due to the death at the Royal College, a barrier has been placed on each Clan,

"he answered.

No wonder Hera talked about a strong power when we first arrived. The King had placed a barrier on all the Clans. Our attack on the witches Clan was going to be a tough one since the king had placed a barrier on every Clan but that's won't stop my ambition.

Weki POV

"I am going to reject her Mum," I informed my mother about my choice to reject Snow but she disagreed.

After the incidents at the field, I retired to my room for the night and didn't go out for lunch or dinner, and even when Okie called me, I ignored her and spend the night on my own but my mother called me early the next morning and asked about Snow. That's was when I knew that Okie had reported my actions to her.

I explained everything to my mother who listened with Rapt attention but when I told her that I was going to reject snow, my Mother flared up.

"Are you insane Weki!" She yelled over the phone and I hall to remove the phone from my ear to avoid getting my ears Blocked. "How an you reject your mate!" She shouted. "She is the only one for you. No ond else can be as good as your mate!" She shouted yet again.

"Mum, can you talk without shouting," I begged.

"This issue deserves a lot of shouting Weki. A mate is the only one for you.

No one can be like your mate!"

"But she is hurting me! I already explained everything about what a mate meant to her but she kept hurting me mum and my wolf is pushing me to do things I don't want to do," I explained.

My mother heaved a sigh and remain silent for a while. "Mum, you there?" I asked.

"I am here son. You just made me remember your father and his obsession with me." My mother chuckled and I rolled my eyes.

I couldn't try that if she was with me. "Don't tell me stories about you and dad, mum," I groaned out in frustration.

"It's the truth. You are just Like Slade Donovan but in the heart, you are more like me. I fall easily and that's where your weakness is Weki." I shifted on my bed as I listened to my mother advised me about my relationship with Snow. "You can't just reject her because you feel she is hurting you."

"But she is mum," I sighed. "She is always around her angel friend and they seem way too close to be just friends."

"Hmm, is this something you know son, or they are just based on your assumptions?" My mother asked.

"I have seen the way he looks at her mum. He wants her," I explained.

"That's when you fight like a man!" My mother shouted at me. "You fight for what's your Son. She is your mate and although he looks like he wants her, what about you?"

I cleared my throat and fake a cough. "Don't try to play smart Weki or I will fly over there and spank you in front of Snow," My mother threatened.

I gulped and took a deep breath. "Mum, I want her and..

"Not because she is your mate?" My mother asked.

Did I like Snow because she was my mate or because I wanted her? "Mum, I don't know.." I answered.

"You need to know son. Not realizing that will not allow you to control your wolf. What you feel for her now is an obsession

"You think I'm obsessed with her?"

"Does your vampire side accept her?" My mother retorted. "You are like this because you are following your wolf's instinct. If you like her, give it time." my mother advised. "Get to know her first son before you Claim her as yours." "Perhaps I should ignore her right?"

"No!" My mother shouted. "If I hear wat you ignore her, MII come to your school tomorrow son!"

"Mum!" I whined: "I heard you already. Thank you for your advice."

"Call me anytime you need to advise son and don't ever talk about rejection to me again soon," she warned and I agreed without arguing.

"Alright, mum. Goodbye mum," I ended the call and stood up from my bed.

I walked towards my bathroom and stretched my body.

Darn, I was tired.

I took a cold shower and dressed up for professor Layla and Professor Roku's class. The last class ended in a mess because Snow couldn't control her power. This time, I hope she does.

Dressed in a black outfit, black ripped jeans, a black round neck, and a black jacket, I exit my room and stumble on Okie whose room was beside mine. "Glad to see you all dressed up for class," Okie teased.

"It's all thanks to someone who couldn't keep their mouth shut," I retorted and brushed my hair with my hand. "But all thanks to you, I was able to learn a lesson or two."

"Hmm," she wrapped her hand around my shoulder and laughed. "Trust your twin sister to always help you out."

Yeah, Okie could be a problem most times but all the time, she was a solution.
