Chapter 60

Catalina's POV

When I wake up I'm in bed laying next to Andrew. His arms are around me and I breathe in his scent. I wish I could stay like this with him forever and not have to worry about armies, Gods, and a fast approaching war. I kiss Andrew's chest and arm until he stirs. "If you keep that up we'll miss the meeting." He says in his husky sleepy voice.

"Maybe I want to miss the meeting." I say. He growls and rolls on top of me planting kissing all over my face.

"You are being naughty High Alpha." Andrew teases.

"Lina, Brandon and I are in your office." I get a mind link from Jet and groan.

"They are in your office, aren't they." Andrew asks.

"Yeah." I groan again.

"I will be right there." I tell Jet. Andrew kisses me a few more times before rolling off me. He gets up to get dressed while I go to the bathroom to get ready. I come out and get dressed and we head to my office. I enter and take my seat while Andrew stands behind "Thank you for meeting this morning." I say to Jet and Brandon. They bow to me and take a seat.

"Andrew and I will be leaving today to head back. Jet I want you to stay one more day to make sure the warriors are ready to go. Tomorrow I want you to make your way with the warriors, Brandon you come too. I will have Francis maintain the pack until after the war. We only have a little over a week before its supposed to happen and it will be here before we know it." I tell them.

"When will you be leaving?" Jet asks.

"In a few hours. I can't explain it, but I have a feeling I need to get back to Moon Lake pack soon." I tell them. They all just nod in agreement. Maybe it's not getting back home, but getting away from here.

"Brandon you are excused, Jet can you stay?" Jet nods and Brandon gets up and bows then leaves.

"How is Brandon doing?" I ask Jet.

"He seems to be doing well. He trains with us each morning and does everything I ask." He tells me. "Do you trust him?" I ask.

"Well it's too early to say. I won't really know that until it's tested." He says.

"What about Sarah?" I ask.

"I've known Sarah for years. She has grown to be a great warrior and is always eager to train." Jet says.

"Do you trust her?" I ask.

"I trust her more than Brandon." He says. That's fair. But what Julie has taught me is, no matter how long you know someone, you don't really know what's going on inside them. "Is there anyone else you trust?" I ask

"Mateo. He's also become a great warrior and I've known him for a while too." He says. I nod.

"If you have any problems after we leave tell me. I don't need something happening to you. If I don't hear from you by tomorrow we will be back." I tell Jet.

"Don't worry about me High Alpha. I got this." He gives me one of his confident smiles.

"Yeah yeah yeah. You can go." I say with a smile. He nods and heads out.

"What are you up to?" Andrew asks.

"You'll see." I say with a smile. There was a knock at the door.

"Come in." I say. Mateo and Sarah walk into the office.

"Please have a seat." I say. They look nervous.

"Sarah and Mateo, I have spoken to Jet and I would like to offer you both the Delta position in this pack." I say and they look at me in a bit of shock and then smile. "Really?" Sarah asks excited. I smile and nod.

"Jet trusts you and since he is the Beta and working with you both the most, I think it would be wise to have people he trusts around him. What do you say?" I ask them. "I would be honored." Mateo says.

"Me too!" Sarah adds.

"Great. I will let Jet know and help him get the warriors together to leave tomorrow." I tell them. They stand up, bow, and they leave.

"Well you have turned out to be one hell of an Alpha." Andrew says as he takes a seat in front of me. I laugh.

"I never thought I'd hear anyone say that to me." I say.

"Are you ready to go home love?" Andrew asks.

"More than ready." We walk out of the office and Andrew goes to get our bags while I head down to replace Jet. When I replace him, Sarah and Mateo are already there.

"So you made these guys Delta?" Jet says. Sarah and Mateo have smiles on their faces still.

"Looks that way. I had come to tell you, but looks like I was beat to it. Figured you could use all the help you could get." I say and clap him in the shoulder. I felt Andrew walk up behind me.

"You both headed out?" Jet asked.

"Yes we are. If you need us, call." I say and Andrew and I leave. We climb into the car and head back to Moon Lake Pack, back to home. After several hours of driving we finally made back. As we pulled up to the pack house I felt more relaxed. As Andrew and I walked in. I knew something was up. The lobby was very busy and we had to weave our way through the crowd of people.

"What is going on? Who are all these people?" I ask Andrew. His eyes shift around.

"I don't know. They aren't wolves." He says. And he was right. They were giving off different energy.

"My dad said to meet in your office. Lilith is back." He says. I smile widely. We finally got to the elevator and went up. I was so excited to see Lilith for some reason. She had missed so much! When we got to my office I opened the door and Lilith and Raymond are standing there waiting for us. Lilith smiles at me.

"Finally! High Alpha." She bows to me and then opens her arms. I giggle and give her a hug.

"I'm so glad you are back. You have missed so much." I say. I feel her laugh.

"Raymond here has kept me up to date. I'm so proud of all you have done." She pulls me back to look at me.

"Becoming the High Alpha and uniting the packs. Taking care of that horrid Alpha. Gathering the armies. You have been a very busy person." She says as she takes a seat in front of my desk. I walk over and sit behind my desk. Raymond joins Lilith and Andrew joins me. He stands behind me like he did in Red Stone pack. I feel so loved and supported by him.

"Andrew I was sorry to hear about Julie. I know it came as a shock to you all." She says to Andrew. He doesn't say anything only nods. I see Raymond look away.

"Lilith, what about you. How did it go with the witches and the Fae?" I ask her.

"Well did you see all the people in the lobby?" I nod.

"Those are my sisters and their covens." She says.

"I went to several of my remaining sisters and told them of you and the up coming war on all of us. They did not like the idea of working with wolves at first. But after the Moon Goddess came to a few of them, they got on board. We have begun gathering." She says. "The Fae we're a bit harder. The Fae King has requested a meeting with you, on his land." She adds. I feel the tension in the room go up.

"Is that bad?" I ask.

"The Fae King can be.. unpredictable." Raymond says.

"That's an understatement. He's not a bad King, he just does whatever he wants. He's very powerful. Which makes him dangerous." Lilith explains.

"When do I meet with him?" I ask.

"Tomorrow evening."

"So soon. Do I have to go alone?" I ask

"Like hell you are." I hear Andrew behind me.

"No. You can bring Andrew and a few warriors. He would expect you to." Lilith says.

"Lina he is a proud man. Flattery works like a charm on him. Play into that." Lilith tells me and I nod in understanding.

"Have you had anymore visits from the Moon Goddess or anyone else." Lilith asks. I look up to Andrew.

"Actually we were visited by Zeus." I say and Raymond leans forward in his chair.

"Really? And what did he have to say?" Lilith asks quickly.

"Well he offered to make me a God. He said I don't have to die with the wolves."

"Well that's interesting." Lilith says.

"Why would he offer to make her a God?" Raymond asks.

"It could be that he thinks she can defeat them, and he wanted to take away our star player. Could be a trick. Or it could be that he wants Lina for himself. Or it could be all of the above." Lilith explains. I hear Andrew growl. "How would it all work if I became a God? My wolf and Phoenix? My mate bond?" I ask.

"Just curious. Not thinking of actually doing it." I clarify.

"I'm not completely sure. I've never heard of Zeus just making someone a God that is still alive." Lilith says.

"But I will look into it. Just to be on the safe side." She adds.

"How many witches have you gathered?" I ask.

"About 1,300 so far. More are coming over the next week." She says.

"Good heavens. Do we have the space?" I ask.

"We are moving anyone who isn't a warrior to a neighboring pack land to make room. We are also setting up areas by the training facility for more sleeping spaces. They aren't fancy but they will do for warriors." Raymond says. "When will Red Stone be here?" He asks.

"They are leaving tomorrow, it will probably take them two days to get here." I say.

"Lina I would like to introduce you to my sisters that have arrived. I know you have just returned but they are very interested in meeting you." Lilith says.

"How many of them are here?" I asked. Meeting 50 people seems like a lot.

"22 have arrived. 8 are still on the way with their covens." She tells me.

"So only 30 of the 50 are left?" I ask.

"Well 31, me included."

"And you don't have a coven?" I asked.

"No, I had one but I gave it up after an attempt on my life. I wanted to protect my coven from the danger I was bringing to it. Then I tucked myself away." She said matter of factly.

"Sure I can meet them. But I would like to go shower, change, and eat first. Can we meet after dinner?" I asked.

"That should be fine. It will allow them some time to get settled in. I will go let them know and help with the sleeping arrangements." We all stand and Lilith leaves.

"My goodness Lina. You have really come into your position." Raymond says looking at me. I smile.

"She is nothing like the girl I first brought here." Andrew adds.

"Well someone has to do it. Might as well be me." I say.

"Let's go up and get ready." Andrew says.

"After my meeting with the sisters. We need to discuss my meeting with the Fae King." I say and Andrew and Raymond nod. I kinda wish Jet were here to go with me. I need men I can trust. I'm nervous about the Fae King.
