Alphas Broken Mate
Chapter 62

Catalina's POV

When I wake up, I feel recharged and ready for the day. My energy levels are high and I am excited about meeting the Fae King. Don't get me wrong I am still very nervous, but everyone has such confidence in me, I just feel ready. I nuzzle my foreheads into Andrew next to me. I breathe him in. He stirs and plants a few kisses on me.

"Good morning beautiful." He says in his sexy husky voice.

"Can we just stay in bed today?" He asks playfully. He pulls me in closer to him.

"You aren't excited to meet the Fae King?" I giggle.

"Im more excited to spend the day exploring your body with my mouth." He growls. I feel my face flush. He laughs.

"Glad to see I can still make you blush, High Alpha." He says against my neck. Shivers run down my body. He brings his head up and kisses my lips, soft at first but with more passion as the kiss deepens. He pulls back and groans.

"We better get up before I ravish you." His eyes were dark and full of lust. I kiss his nose. He rolls out of bed and heads for the bathroom. I throw on one of Andrew's shirts and head for the kitchen. I need coffee! I set up the coffee pot and head back into the room to get dressed. Andrew walks out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his waist and my eyes drift over his body. He's not fully dry yet so there are drips of water rolling down his chest to his abs and down to his v.

"I can smell you from here you know." He says. I blush.

"I think we're sexually frustrated." He says with a laugh.

"Probably." I say. It's been a while. But we've been so busy. Running off here, saving life there. He comes over and wraps his arms around me.

"Soon everything will go back to some kind of normal and we'll have all the pups." Andrew says. He kisses my forehead. Then sniffs the air. "Coffee?" He asks. I nod.

"Best High Alpha ever." He says and heads for coffee.

"I'm the only High Alpha." I yell laughingly from the bedroom. I get dressed, brush my teeth and join Andrew. Once Andrew is ready we head down for breakfast. We walk into the dinning hall and it is surprisingly quiet. Andrew and I look at each other. Andrew shrugs and we take a seat. Some omegas drop off some food.

"My dad says everyone is at training. They started early and they will be there awhile." Andrew tells me. Gamma Lucas joins us for breakfast.

"No training for you?" Andrew asks.

"I helped them get set up, but since we are leaving so early I wanted to be ready for the trip." Gamma Lucas says. I nod in understanding. When we finish our breakfast we head out to replace Lilith. She's waiting for use right next to the front door.

"Ready to meet the Fae King?" She asks. I was, I was nervous, excited, and ready.

"Ready as I'll ever be." I say. She smiles and then she drew a large circle on the floor with chalk.

"Steady yourselves. The first time teleporting can be a bit rough." She says with a smile. I grab Andrew's hand. Lilith says some words I don't understand and the circle starts to glow. I feel a sudden pull and quick rich of air. Then a sudden jerk. All of a sudden we are in a forest. My stomach feels queasy. Oh no I'm about to puke. I bend over and place my hands on my knees and take deep breaths.

"Why did we eat before doing that?" I ask Andrew.

"Hmm you're right. You all probably should have waited. I didn't even think of that. Sorry dears." Lilith says.

I feel Andrew's hand rub my back. I glanced over and the guys seem fine. Good to know the High Alpha is the only baby.

"You ok?" Andrew asks. A straighten up.

"How are you guys fine?" I ask.

"Lucas threw up. But he recovered quickly." Chuckled Andrew.

"And this isn't my first time teleporting." Drew explains. I raise an eyebrow to him.

"Wait here, do not wonder. I will be right back with your warriors." Lilith says And then she was gone.

I look around the forest to see where we are. It looked like a normal forest, the trees are starting to change colors for fall and the air is getting a bit chilly. But I don't see any Fae, or gates, or really anything but trees. Lilith returns with 5 of our best warriors. "Alright, everyone's here. The Fae kingdom is straight that way. Not far. Basically when you are intercepted just tell them I sent you and the king is waiting for you. They will take you to him." Lilith says. "Why can't you come with us?" I asked.

"He doesn't like witches. He can also be a bit misogynistic. He doesn't like werewolves either, but he likes witches less. I would distract him from being receptive." Lilith says. I feel like there is more she isn't telling me.

"Look it's not important. He's not dangerous. You will be fine my dear." Lilith says. I nod and we start walking. I look back and see Lilith watching us go into the woods. We walk a bit more, when I look back again she is gone. I take a deep breath.

"You ok?" Andrew asks me. I nod and keep walking. After about 10 mins of walking we hear leaves crunching. We stop and look around. The warriors take a defensive position around us. I hear twigs breaking from behind me, then to the front of me. Then it was silent. I'm scanning the forest for any movement but I don't see anything. Then a gust of wind blows the leaves around us and I close my eyes and shielded them. When I opened my eyes we were surrounded by elf looking men. They were dressed in dark green uniforms and black boots. Very stylish if I must say.

"Leave our forest wolves." One of the men says.

"We are here to see the Fae King. He is expecting us." I explain. He looks at me amused.

"The woman speaks for all of you." He smirks at me.

"I am High Alpha Catalina. I am here to see the Fae King." I say again.

"The king is not accepting anyone." He begins to turn away.

"Lilith sent us." I say. He turns back around. He huffs.

"Follow me." He says and walks deeper into the forest. Andrew grabs my hand this time. As we walk the trees group closer and closer together. It's getting harder and harder to see in front of us. The Fae are so light on their feet it's hard to keep up. The trees are so thick and close together. Then suddenly the forest opens, and I'm amazed. A city built into the trees. My eyes scan the intricate city that twirls around the trees. Andrew pulls me along as I take everything in. I'm amazed at how they built into the huge trunks. The buildings go up so high. I'm straining my neck to try and see to the top. There are bridges to each tree, people working, walking around, children playing. Some people stop and stare at us as we walked toward a building in the middle of the clearing. The building spirals up the center tree and is intricately decorated with greens and golds. The Fae warrior leads us up the steps to two large doors.

We walk in to see a floor made of white marble and the air smells like the woods. I like it here. Everything is so delicate and fine. We walk up another set of steps to another large door. When the door opens I see a man at the end of a hall sitting on a throne. He is completely dripping in gold and jewels. He is wearing a dark green robe laced with gold trim. There are people on both sides of him, also flowing with gold and jewels. As we approach one of the men whisper something into the king's ear. The king claps his hands together and smiles.

I rather like his smile. It was warm and his whole face lights up. He was a larger man and he kind of reminded me of Santa clause. The man steps away from the king.

"High Alpha what a pleasure it is to finally meet you. And you brought your Luna what an Honor." The Fae King says. The man that brought us in stifles a laugh. Andrew looks down at me.

"She is not my Luna, Fae King. She is my High Alpha." Andrew looks back up at the king. I take a step forward.

"I am High Alpha Catalina." I say the Fae King leans back.

"I should have known. It's always a woman in charge these days. Men are too soft." The Fae King says. He gestures for someone to bring him a plate of grapes. He sets the plate on the table beside him and gestures for everyone to leave. He watches as they leave. The man who whispered something to him stays behind.

"High Alpha why don't you and I talk privately." His voice was a bit suggestive, and I felt Andrew stiffen. I knew he was trying to annoy my mate.

"Run along pups and let the grown ups talk." He waves his hand at my men.

"Lina I don't like this." Andrew says in my mind. I place my hand on his shoulder.

"I'll be fine." I say.

"And your man?" Asks Andrew. The Fae king smile.

"He will go too." The man looks at the King but doesn't say anything. Andrew and Gamma Lucas nod at me and Andrew locks eyes with the Fae King as he was walking out. The door closes and we are alone.

"Why are you trying to annoy my mate?" I say bluntly. He laughs. Then he gets up and makes his way down the steps towards me.

"I'm sorry. Wolves are so possessive, I just couldn't help myself." He places his hand on my shoulder and turns me. He leads me to a side of the room I must have missed. It's a sitting area with couches and rugs and warm light. It's actually pretty cozy. "Like it?" He asks. He must have noticed my amazement.

"I just didn't see this when I walked in." He laughs again. He laughs like Santa. Very jolly.

"Sit. Let's talk about this war." He says. He takes a seat and I sit opposite him.

"Now child. I know what Lilith had to say about the matter. And I will say you picked a very convincing ambassador, but I would personally like to hear it from the source." He says leaning back, allowing me to speak.

"Where should I start?" I say.

"From the very beginning. From when you first shifted. I love a good story." He says with a grin. So I tell him about my childhood and how I was treated after my first shift. I tell him about my parents poisoning me so I couldn't shift or speak with my wolf. I told him about Alpha Jackson and Beta Yuri and my brother. I told him about meeting Andrew and his pack. I told him about my wolf and the moon goddess. I told him about my powers and meeting Lilith. I told him about Liam and my time there. I told him about the Sun God and the sacrifice. I told him about my Phoenix and becoming the High Alpha, about killing Jackson. I told him everything. I felt good to get it all out of me. The Fae King listened to me and asked a few questions along the way. I told him about my dreams with the Moon Goddess and the visit from Zeus. And when I was done we were quiet for a moment.

"Well you have had one exciting life." He finally says.

"Child I am an old man. I have seen many things, I have lived through many wars." He says. I wanted to ask how old he was.

"But I fear this will be a bigger war than I have ever seen." He says.

"I was going to give Lilith my men already. I just wanted to meet the leader in charge. I was very surprised it was you, I will admit. You are small and young. How much could you really know about war." He was right. I've never seen a war let alone lead people into one. The thought actually made me sick to think about leading people to their deaths.

"But I believe you know more than I original thought. You are being guided by powerful sources. I can feel them around you. I knew it was you the moment you stepped foot on my land. Power radiates off of you like heat from the sun." He says. "Alastair!" He yells I look up at the door. The man from the woods walks in.

"This is my son Alastair. He will be leading my army to you." Alastair actually smiles at me and bows a bit. Ok mood change.

"They will be at your pack lands in two days." The Fae King says.

"Now that that is settled. We should feast. It is custom for Fae to feast after an arrangement has been agreed on." The Fae King stands.

"Will you be joining?" He asks.

"Of course." I say not wanting to be rude. The King beams with a smile.

"I knew I would like her." The king claps me on the back and laughs.

"Alastair show her to her mate, and to the hall." The King says with a laugh. Alastair gestures for me to walk out the door. I do and he leads me up some more stairs.

"Sorry about in the forest. My dad is one for the theatrics." He says with a smile.

"Actually all Faes are. We love a bit of drama." He tells me as we reach another set of doors. He opens them to a great hall. Wooden tables are all around with people eating and talking. Alastair clears his throat, and somehow everyone hears him and the room goes silent. All eyes are on us.

"My father has agreed. We will feast today and prepare tomorrow. High Alpha Catalina. We welcome you to the Fae Forest!" Alastair yells. Everyone cheers when he is done. He takes me over to a table where my warriors are drinking, along with my mate. Gamma Lucas is the only one not partaking. I give them a knowing look.

"I could have been in danger." I say.

"My love, I would have felt it." He says with a grin. I roll my eyes at him. I join the table and so does Alastair. I tell them what happened in the meeting and people came up to meet us. We spent the next few hours drinking eating and greeting. Everyone was very nice and excited to meet us. They don't get many visitors they told me.

"I can show you to your sleeping quarters if you would like." Alastair asks me. I look at Andrew, who was finally feeling all the drinks he has consumed. I nod and smile. Alastair and I help Andrew up and we walked out of the hall and up more stairs. "This place has a lot of stairs." I say. He laughs.

"You don't even know the half of it." Alastair says as he leads us to a hallway.

"Third door, here." He says. We walk into a lovely room. It's smaller than back home but it's nice nonetheless.

"Rest well. I'll see you in the morning." Alastair says after he places Andrew on the bed.

"Thank you very much." I say as he leaves. I help Andrew to bed. I take his shoes off and crawl in next to him. He's already fast asleep. I lay my head on his chest and fall asleep
