Alpha Darrel

I was angry at that bastard because he wasn't answering my calls. I had ransacked my office my beta was too scared to even come in here.

Once he saw my state he high-tailed it out of there.

Downing another glass of Whiskey I threw the glass across the room.

Just as the glass hit the wall my phone ran.

"What!" I yelled into the phone.

"Is that how you greet everyone who works for you?"

His voice held a lot of sarcasm in it.

"Where have you been I've been calling you!" I growled through the phone.

I heard him chuckle he actually chuckled.

"How dare you!" I yelled at him this guy was pissing me off even more.

"Cool your jets Alpha, remember you came to me for help, not the other around,"

"Fine! What news do you have?"

"Not a lot for I have only observed her for a day, but I can tell you this is gonna take some planning this will not be a snatch, and run Alpha Reins runs a tight ship,".

"I don't care! It just needs to be fast I'm running out of time I have waited too long for her I'm done waiting!"

"Then have one of your goons do it, Oh that's right they have failed too many times that's why you called me."

I could hear the smugness he was gloating.

"Just get it done," I bellowed at the phone slamming it down on the desk.

I walked over and poured another glass of whiskey I heard my phone chime taking the glass with me I grabbed my phone and see I have a picture text. I got the button to open it and there I see a picture of her being carried by that Alpha. "She is quite stunning," the caption said.

I let a loud roar out throwing the drink I had in my hand.

How dare he touch what is mine!

Autumn

I was up in Kelly's room I was laying on my belly on her bed my books open in front of me we were working on our homework. I couldn't focus though my mind kept drifting back to him. The way he carried me and how he held me to him. The way he held my hand I could feel tingles running up my arm just the though my face heated up.

Suddenly I feel the bed dip and all my books bounced. Looking over Kelly was laying there she had this smile on her face.

"What has you blushing," She signed to me.

"Nothing," I quickly signed back.

I looked back at my book not wanting her to see my face. She snatches my book from me.

"Hey!" I say out loud I reach for the book but she smacked my hand away and then threw it on the floor.

"Kelly!" I yell her name.

"I bet it has to do with a certain guy," She signs then wiggles her eyebrows at me.

I could feel my cheek heating up again.

"No!" I sign to her she busted out laughing she rolled on her back and then sat up.

"Autumn it's okay that you like him," She signed to me.

"I don't," I tell her.

"Yeah right!" She signs

I groan grabbing her pillow and covering my face.

I feel the pillow get ripped off my face she is standing up on the bed now.

"You like him!" She mouthed to me while laughing.

I jump up to grab the pillow yelling at her.

"I do not!"

She hit me with the pillow jumping off the bed.

"Oh yes, you do!" I see her mouth again.

I jump off the bed chasing her she throws the pillow and then runs around the room. Her room was huge we made four trips around the room.

I finally tackle her we both fall on the bed laughing. Letting go of her we lay on our back looking up at the ceiling. When I feel her get up she goes over to my backpack she grabs my implant walks over she hands it to me. "It will be easier," She mouthed to me

I smiled taking it from her and putting it on.

She sat down next to me turning so she was facing me. She seemed to have a serious look on her face.

"Kelly what's wrong?" I asked her grabbing her hand.

"Autumn, have you ever seen that guy before that bumped into you at the mall?"

"Um no, that was the first time, why?"

"He seemed kinda weird, Oscar definitely didn't like him,"

"Yeah, I guess your right, but he wasn't being rude or anything I think he did accidentally bump into me, And Oscar reminds me of Zach always looking out for me,"

"Yes, Oscar is like that with his friends, when I met Brad he went all big brother crazy on him,"

We both laughed at that.

"I can see Oscar doing that," I laughed.

"Mr. Reins is the same way," She said.

I stopped laughing and just stared at her just the sound of his name and I can feel my cheeks heat up again my heartbeat sped up I felt all flustered.

"Autumn do you like Mr. Reins,"

"Um I'm not sure," I said looking down at my hands and fidgeting with my fingers.

"It's okay you can tell me the truth I won't say anything,"

Letting out a sigh I look back up at her.

"Truthfully I'm not sure, I was scared of him the first time I met him, but he's been nice this whole week I've become comfortable around him, even today when he took me out of the mall I didn't feel the need to fight him off I felt this pull towards him I wasn't scared or afraid I felt I could trust him,"

Kelly was smiling from ear to ear.

"He would never hurt you, Autumn, I can tell you he likes you too, he's never acted that way with anyone,"

"What how can you tell? Do you think he knows I like him!"

"Ha, I knew you liked him!" She says while slapping my arm.

"Kelly!" I yelled at her she stopped laughing.

"No, I don't think he realizes you like him, but I think you should let him know,"

"Kelly he's my dad's boss I can't like my dad's boos it's so wrong!"

"No, it's not,"

"He's so much older than me,"

"How old do you think he is?"

"He's got to be at least close to Thirty?"

She busted out laughing falling back on the bed she held her belly while laughing.

"What?" I said to her.

She sat back up wiping her face.

"Autumn Mr. Reins is only twenty-five,"

I just started at her was he really that young he acted much older though.

"I thought he was older,"

She shakes her head no.

"He has been running the family business for a while now his dad passed it to him at a young age,"

"Where are his?"

"Who? His dad?"

I shake my head yes.

"Oh um, his parents were killed in an accident like eight years ago,"

"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that,"

I see Kelly turns looking at the door.

"It's open!" She yells I turn to see Brad open the door stopping in the doorway

"Hey Autumn, your dad is looking for you,"

He says from the doorway.

"Oh okay thanks," I say standing up and grabbing my book from the floor placing it in my bag I sling it over my shoulder.

"Here I'll walk down with you," Kelly says as she stands walking with me.

"Thanks, I say,"

We wall down Brad was in front of us he turned heading to the kitchen we followed along when we reached the kitchen no one was in there. I thought that to be odd normally people are always in here working. Brad open the back door for me letting me walk out in front of them.

Soon as I stepped out I saw the lights were off just as I was about to turn the lights came on.
