Reins

Running out of the room I headed straight for my office Keaton hot on my tail.

"What he all say?"

"Nothing much just he had information on Robertson and he needed to see to you directly,"

"Oscar did say something about his boy Dan bothering Autumn when she first started school, wonder if it's anything to do with him," Reaching my office I go in sitting at my desk. I take a deep breath trying to calm down before he comes in here my wolf is very on edge Right now.

Keaton stands to my right when we hear a knock.

"Come in," I call out

The door opens and in walks, Oscar and Nick followed by Alpha Brett and his boy.

They come to stand in front of my desk Alpha Brett nods at me.

"Oscar Nick please wait outside the door,"

"Yes Alpha," Bowing they turn leaving.

"Alpha Reins," He looks to his boy and then nudges his arm. That little s**t looks at me and rolls his eyes, "Alpha,"

Growling lowly at his disrespectful attitude but I do no more than that I have other bigger things to worry about.

"Alpha Brett, What can I do for you?"

"Before I explain everything I need to say that my kid is very stupid in the decisions he made but I have come here and brought him as well so he can show he's sorry for what he tried to do,"

I raised my brows at his words.

"And what is it he tried doing?"

He sighs rubbing his forehead.

"He got in contact with the guy called Roberson, He then processed to bring him to my office, Why I'm not sure as he should have known I would not agree, but as I was saying, he brought him there thinking I would Aid in helping that man take your mate Autumn," Upon hearing her name I was up and out of my chair I grabbed that little boy by his neck slamming him into the wall.

"Alpha please, Don't!" I heard his father pleading but this boy needed a lesson in poking around my mate.

"You wish to take what is mine,"

Growling lifting him off his feet he grabbed my wrist trying to pull my hand off which only made me tighten my hold. Gasping for air his face turned a little pale his lips were just about blue,

"Alpha there's more you need to know! He wasn't alone!"

My attention snapped to his father dropping him he crumbled to the floor sucking in the air trying to get his breath back. "Who was there,"

I already had a gut feeling about who it was seeing as he has abandoned his pack.

"Alpha Darrel, he was claiming that you had his mate and that this Roberson was to get her back and then bring her to him," "She is not his mate! She's mine,"

He holds his hang-up to me.

"I know that, this is why I came,"

"If they were at your territory where are they now?"

"I had them escorted off, I couldn't hold them you know this they didn't harm my pack,"

"Right," I walked back to my chair but didn't sit down I glanced at Keaton he gives me a nod and left the office,"

"Alpha Reins, please I'm not wanting to go against you, we have been alliances and I want to keep that,"

Turning to face him I look at his kid who has managed to pick himself up but is leaning against the wall holding his throat.

"Out of respect that you showed me coming here yourself to explain, I will keep the alliances, but however if your boy as so much looks in the direction of my mate again I will take it as a threat to my Luna and the alliances is over and we will be enemies," "That will not happen, Will it Dan?"

He turns looking at his kid.

The boy stands straight walking over to stand by his father.

Dropping his eyes to the floor.

"Yes Alpha, I understand,"

"Good, I'll have Oscar show you out.

"Oscar!" I call my door opens.

"Yes Alpha,"

"Show Alpha Brett and his boy out,"

"Yes Alpha,"

He steps aside holding his arm out.

"Alpha, Please this way,"

They walk out closing the door for it to open again in walks Autumn.

"Autumn, what are you doing? You should be resting,"

She doesn't say anything and walks straight to me going up on her toes she kisses me, I wrap my arms around her pulling her right against me he hands go up around my neck.

Breaking the kiss I pull back to look at her but I keep my hold on her.

"What was that for,?"

"I'm sorry I felt a sudden urge to come to you, I wasn't sure I was up there and I felt rage and anger then this hard pull to come to replace you,"

She could feel my anger which means her wolf is feeling the bond the more she is near me, My wolf was pacing trying to push forward. I hold him back pushing him to the back of my mind.

"Autumn it's the bond it's getting stronger the more we are around each other, you were feeling my emotions and it's natural for our mates to calm us, that was your wolf I think pushing you to come to me,"

She looks as if she was thinking about what I just told her,

"Why were you angry?"

I didn't want to tell her I didn't want her to worry or be afraid I would never let anything happen to her and I plan on not letting her out of my sight.

"Please tell me," She says as she runs her hand down my cheek.

Once that pathetic Alpha had us kicked out of his territory, I went to my car.

Dam it, I yelled punching the fender leaving a nice dent.

"What do you want?"

"Little upset are we?"

Growling I moved around the car.

"You should watch how you talk and to who you're talking too,"

"And who would that be? I can't really call you a Alpha seeing as you up and left your pack and all for a girl,"

"I AM A ALPHA!" I roared at him but he just stands there unaffected by it.

He laughed what the hell?

"I'll ask you again what do you want. You still have a job to do so you should get on it, I want what I paid for!"

"Well now, I only received half of the payment and besides I doubt you have the rest, your pack is broke but ill finish the job on one condition."

"And that is what?"

"You get to be my partner and when we successfully take your so-called mate, you can return to your little pack, and ill go my way and never contact me again," "Why would you want to finish the job with me being your partner?"

"Hmmm, let's just say now I'm Interested in seeing why everyone is so fearful of this Alpha Reins, and besides I just got a boot because of him so now I need to even the score," I take a minute to think about it.
