Reins

It's been three days since Autumn and I marked each other and it has been very busy we have barely had time to see one another with the planning of the Luna ceremony as well as adding in there the joining of three new members, Today the tutor lady comes to speak with Autumn about the courses she will be taking she was surprised that Autumn was taking such high classes at school, especially with her differences as she put it. It was a huge relief when she agreed to study at home I know how important her studies are to her I would never take that from her.

Since I've doubled up on the patrol I've also doubled up on the training mostly with my younger warriors I know my older ones know how to handle them self but these youngest are not as controlled. Currently, I'm leading one of the groups with Chase it's mostly females I normally don't like lead these groups as I don't want to be stuck in a certain situation if one female asks for help,

I'm standing off to the side as Chase is walking through the pairs that are sparing giving pointers as he moves around.

I notice two females that are doing more talking than training, They are throwing punches by no means worth anything.

One girl has her hands up while the other is lightly throwing her half-made fist barely even making contact,

Slowly I make my way toward them I can hear them talking back and forth the one seems to be complaining to the other one.

They are too engrossed in their topic they never heard me approaching,

As I got closer I could see who it was.

Ah yes, now I recognize them they're the others I gave punishment to for ganging up on my mate but where is the other one that's the ring leader to these two,

"I don't know what's she thinking lately but she gonna get herself into trouble,"

"Yeah, and look what it got us punishment, and then she didn't even help the other day saying she didn't feel good played one on me,"

"Told you to stop being a softy, all she does is use us,"

"You will get more done if you weren't talking so much,"

Both jump yelping out loud.

"Alpha," they bow their heads

"You two need to work hard and less talking, you don't even hear me until I spoke,"

"Sorry Alpha," They look down at their feet.

"Back to work,"

"Yes, Alpha," They face each other and begin again this time doing it properly.

I moved back to the side watching but couldn't get what they said out of my head that's when I spotted Morgan in the back she working with Chase's mate. Making my way to them they stop when they see me next to them.

"Continue," I tell them

"Yes, Alpha,"

I start walking around them making it look as if I'm helping them.

"Morgan, have you seen Rachel today?"

I ask her in a low tone.

"No Alpha I looked before training someone said she left early this morning, she also was gone the other day she got the other girls to cover for her in the kitchen," "Thank you, Morgan,"

I turned to head back to my spot.

"Keaton," I call through the link.

"Yes, Alpha,"

I want to go check with the patrols to see if anyone has seen Rachel this leaving this morning,"

"I'm on it,"

I cut the link letting him do the task I just gave him.

Watching the group but also letting thoughts run through my head I had a gut feeling this girl was up to no good.

Hearing Chase calls for everyone to line up snapped me out of my trance.

"Everyone looked good we will pick back up tomorrow same time," He looks at me.

"Alpha you want to add anything?"

"Good work today, I know this double training is tough, I want everyone to give 100 percent when they are here, you guys are dismissed," "Yes, Alpha!"

Everyone started walking away I looked through to see the two girls standing by the bench.

"Lisa, Tori, I'd like a word with you two,"

They both paled instantly setting their things back down and walking toward me.

"Chase wait a minute,"

He nods as he takes one step back placing his hand behind his back,

The girls stop in front of me they have their heads down I see them fidgeting with their fingers I can smell fear on them.

I just stand there not saying anything I see they're becoming uneasy with the silence.

Clearing m throat the one jumps snapping her head up.

"We're sorry Alpha we won't slack again please don't extend our punishment,"

Squinting my eyes at her quick response

"Was there a more important topic you two felt the need to discuss during training?"

"No, Alpha we shouldn't have been we won't do it again,"

"Hmmm, And what was it you were talking about?"

Both look at one another one shaking her head.

"You two can tell me willing or do I need to command you to,"

"No no!" They both blurt out loud holding their hands up. "Speak!"

Watching their shoulder slump.

"It was about our friend she bailed on helping us the other day, and she just making stupid choices and we just feel we are being used,"

"And which friend is this?"

They Gave a little hesitation,

"Rachel,"

"Are you two worried about her choices?"

"We just feel she not thinking straight, she is blinded by her wants and we don't want her to get into trouble,"

"Those choices being what?"

I could see they didn't want to answer that as they began to shift on their feet looking at each other.

"She has a crush on someone and this person doesn't feel that way about her, but she is determined to make him like her,"

I knew who they were speaking of but I didn't understand why, I've never messed around with anyone from my pack I wasn't going to make it hard when and if I ever found my mate, this is what I was trying to keep from happening but some girls are power hungry.
