Autumn

I was feeling good my head had stopped hurting as well as my body I had a power running through me I didn't quite understand but I felt strong.

I tighten my hold on Reins's hand as we stopped for a moment outside my dad's room door.

"Love you okay?" He asks turning to look at me.

"Yes, I'm just nervous, Not sure why though,"

He leans over kissing my temple. He pushes the door open leading me in.

Looking around Reins I see my dad he's awake sitting up and talking to Zach and Mom, I noticed that the same lady from the car Ariel was her name. She stood next to Zach holding his arm while they spoke with Dad. Hearing us walking they all turned their attention to us my eyes meeting my dads taking in a sharp breath.

"Dad," I ran the short distance across the room. He stood opening his arms for me running straight into them as he wrapped his arms around me.

His familiar scent filled my nose and Gem whined in my head.

He has always been my rock always taking care of us and to think he did all he did to protect me and keep me safe made me admire him more than I did before.

"You alright dad," I sobbed against his chest.

He held me close kissing my head as he rocked us back and forth.

We broke apart as he pulled back looking down and cupping my face in his hand.

I saw tears leave his eyes.

"I was so afraid I wasn't ever gonna see you again," He mouthed slowly to me and I realized they didn't tell him everything and that made me smile inside I got to share it with him. "I thought the same, Dad, I...I don't,"

I couldn't finish those words that were at the tip of my tongue but the thought of it hurt too much.

"Shhhh." Dad pulls me into a hug again.

Pulling back he gives me a look over brushing the hair away from my face and wiping the tears that ran down my cheeks.

He pulls me to sit down on the bed next to him.

I felt a hand on my shoulder looking over I saw Mom smiling at me.

"Alright Autumn spill, what happened how did you do it?"

Looking at Zach he was looking at me with that look he gave me when we were kids when he was trying to get me to admit when I snuck cookies or snacks without Mom knowing,

Looking to Reins I wasn't sure how to explain or even where to begin.

"Start from the beginning love,"

His calm voice runs in my head.

Looking at my family I took a deep breath in I knew Zach knows most of what happened but not all.

Turning more so I could face my dad he looked somewhat confused as Zach spoke to me but didn't sign or talk slowly and I wasn't even looking at him but when he called my name I turned my attention to him lifting my head and began to explain. My father sat there with tears in his eyes as I finish telling him everything that happen from when I was taken to waking up in the room next to him.

"Dad, Please say something,"

"I would love to see your wolf,"

Gem perked up at those words.

"Let me! "She chimed.

"Gem how we only shifted once,"

"Let me come forward I can talk with him we don't have to shift,"

Closing my eyes I felt her surge forward.

When I opened my eyes I could see my father looking at me with so much love and administration.

"Hello, there Gem," He cooed at her.

"Hello to you, Dad," She cooed right back to him I could see him swell up with pride hearing her call him Dad.

We turned our heads looking at my mother next to see her crying hands folded together as they were over her mouth holding her cries in.

"Hi Mom," Gem calls to her Mom's shoulder shakes as more cries leave her.

Then my eyes turn to replace Reins and I hear Gem purr.

She stands walking to him.

"Gem what are you doing? Go back to Dad,"

She stops in front of Reins just smiling at her. Reaching out she runs her fingers through his hair pressing herself against his front. "Gem!" I call her.

Reins lets out a chuckle wrapping his arms are our waist and pulling us closer leaning down close to our ears,

"Naughty little wolf behave yourself if you do we will play later,"

Gem let out a low growl which was met with a growl from Reins as his eyes flashed yellow letting his wolf surface and baring his canines as us.

I feel Gem pull back as I gain control over myself as soon as I was back in control I could instantly smell our arousal and embarrassment hitting me and inside my face in Reins's chest. "She so bad," I mumbled.

Hearing the laughter from behind me I turned to take a peek.

"I love her she is full of mystify.

"Dad says while laughing.

"Gem why did you do that!"

"What I can't help It our mate is delicious looking,"

"Oh my word," I just hit my face again but Reins just laugh kissing my forehead.

"Alright I don't want to break this up or anything but we still have the other issue to deal with," Zach says

Spinning around I look at him and Ariel.

"What issue?"

No one said anything but all their faces paled.

Looking at them and no one was saying anything.

"What issue!" I yelled feeling the power rip through me as they all bow submitting to me. I felt his arms slide around my waist and then his hot breath on my neck.

"Calm down love your power is too strong for them,"

His words snapped me out of my anger and the power slowly slipped back as I relaxed in his hold.

They all sat up looking at me.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean it,"

"It's okay dear your still learning how to control it," Dad says but he still had that look of awe on his face.

I see them give Reins a look then his head nodded against my shoulder.

Zach looks at me as he sighed a little.

"We just learned that Rachel isn't dead and she is holding Ariel's sister hostage,"

With those words, my control snapped power pouring out of me in waves so strong I thought I would burn up with the heat I felt.

"WHAT!"
