Arielle's

POV

The past few weeks have been nothing short of different from the way things used to be in the pack. It had been a painful process for everyone in the pack but they were beginning to warm up to the Van Tyson brothers after they canceled every revenge plot many people in the pack were thinking of carrying out. Rebuilding the pack was their priority and while it wasn't easy, they eventually managed to get everyone on board and the rebuilding started.

Little children were beginning to play on the streets now and shops were opening up and adjusting to the new economic system. It hasn't been easy but all hands were on deck to ensure that the pack returned to its former glory.

My relationship with the Van Tysons brothers was starting to gain strength. We left the house at the edge of the pack after it had been burnt down, the entire house had been pulled down and turned into rubble, and Loki had made mention of building a recreational space in its stead. It was one of his many new projects he was starting up in many locations in their territory.

I was starting to warm up to them a lot better than I did a few months back, we shared meals and laughter while catching up on things we had both missed and discussing the new things we had learned while we were apart.

It had taken me a long time to admit but one of the reasons why I had been so mad at them when I learned they were coming back for me while I was with Ethan was that a small part of me never stopped loving them despite everything they had put me through and I blamed them for it which only fueled my desire to get one over them at any cost. I felt they were manipulating me and I was falling prey to their actions because I didn't have any iota of self control and I hated myself for it but I hated them more.

But ever since we decided to give it a second chance, mostly for the sake of our child now that I was going to be living with them after my banishment had been rescinded. It would make no sense for Ethan to grow up in a divided home but that was the excuse we had both given ourselves.

I didn't know how I managed to get into their bedroom in the first place but I did and given how much desire was coursing my veins, I had to leave now before things got out of hand.

"Gentlemen," I began to address the brothers. "I'll have to cut our night short. I'm heading to my room before my head explodes. It's been a long day and I deserve to rest, not to drink till I can't feel my feet."

"About that," Loki began, clearing his throat. "You won't be sleeping in your room tonight."

"What do you mean?" I seemed perplexed.

"You'll be sleeping in our room tonight," Jonathan added.

"Why would I want to do that? I'm perfectly okay in mine and I haven't complained about it either." My eyes narrowed together.

"I understand you're content in your bedroom, but we're married now," Loki explained.

I opened her mouth to protest but I immediately snapped it shut. This was what I signed up for and I had to play my part.

"You can change your clothes in there," Loki pointed to one of the doors. "There's a bathroom next to it as well, your seamstresses were kind enough to stack up your wardrobe. I'm certain there's nothing you would lack in there."

I nodded and made my way inside the dressing room. Loki wasn't wrong, the entire room was filled with different kinds of clothes just for her. I could feel her cheeks flaming as she pictured them making love to her.

She groaned, pulling down the zipper of my dress, it was going to be a very long night.

I emerged from the dressing room to replace that the three of them had changed already, their hair was tousled, and they had just stepped out of the shower a few minutes earlier. They were all shirtless, my heart fluttered as they registered the toned muscles they had been hiding underneath their suits.

I couldn't give in to the temptation.

"The bed is freakishly large enough for all of us," I began and I wasn't wrong, it was four times the size of mine at first glance. "So, none of you should think about starting anything remotely funny with me," I said in a warning tone, a scowl etched on her face. Elijah scoffed, not bothering to look up from his phone.

I turned to stare at Loki, who was staring at me with those intense eyes that always seemed to make me squirm. My gaze fluttered over to Jonathan, who had a straight expression on his face. "That's not going to happen."

"What?" I asked immediately, his response was vague and it could mean a lot of things all at once.

"We were supposed to discuss this with you a few days back but we've been preoccupied. According to the shaman, the best way to increase our chances of being seen as one before everyone is to make love to our mate. You're going to be crowned Luna soon and we need that connection."

My eyes widened, I couldn't believe what I just heard. Were they trying to pull a fast on me? I knew I accepted to play the role of a doting wife but she never knew it would include being intimate.

I shut my eyes, trying to calm myself down. I couldn't tell if I was scared or excited.

"Okay," I whispered under my breath but audible enough for the brothers to hear.

There was an awkward pause in the room for a few seconds, making me feel uncomfortable. I opened my mouth to speak but Lucien cut me short.

"May I kiss you?" His voice was soft and alluring, I didn't hesitate. "Yes, please."
