After clenching and unclenching her fists a few times, Selena then ordered, "Drive!"

Since he chose to ignore her feelings, he shouldn't blame her for what would come next!

She came all the way to see him, and yet he chose to ignore her!

An idea flashed in her head and she suddenly came to a realization. She couldn't help muttering bitterly to herself, "That's right, he was clearly not like this in the past..."

He had said previously that she was more important than a sister to him, and he would care for her specially, going the extra mile for her! Unconsciously, she glanced back, and her eyes were fixated at the window of the mansion which was dark then. She thought to herself, "Could it be that that woman has done or said something to change his mind? Is it a black magic?"

That must be it! Obviously she was the one who was closer to Trevor first, yet Victoria managed to snatch his attention away from her. Didn't she know that everything she had then actually belonged to her?

If it weren't for the fact that Selena and Trevor were related biologically, Victoria wouldn't even stand a chance!

Selena clenched her fists and her knuckles cracked loudly. That time, she didn't lose her temper, instead she just sat in silence.

On that day in the Maltrich International Condominium, a sumptuous dinner was being prepared. Willy also purposely brought over a few pots of flowers.

"What is this?"

Willy had paid her several visits for the past few days. Every time he went, he would bring gifts and food. However, as far as she could remember, it was the first time he had brought her flowers, and they weren't even in a bouquet, but in pots! They were some beautiful white flowers in pots, and some in bunches, all very beautiful. Looking around, Lauren pointed at a corner beside the TV cabinet.

"What beautiful flowers! Why did you suddenly think of giving this to me?"

Was it because she was pregnant and couldn't keep any pets? After fiddling with the flowers, Lauren suddenly remembered Tutu which she brought home. He had given her the same excuse and taken the dog to his mansion. If she wanted to visit Tutu, she'd had to go all the way to his place. It had been sometime since she saw Tutu, and she missed the silly puppy dearly.

However, since it was a special time that she was pregnant, Lauren didn't dare to risk it and be wilful even though she wasn't exactly agreeable.

Stepping forward, Willy hugged her from behind and said, "These are white pea lilies. They bear the meaning of smooth success!"

She stopped fiddling with the flowers for a moment, and she turned back and looked at him. Lauren instantly realized that the trial would be on the next day! No wonder, he had suddenly sent her the pot of flower. It turns out that there was a meaning behind it. When their eyes met, Willy raised his hand and pinched her small plump face, "Are you nervous?"

Sighing, Lauren nodded. It would be a lie if she said she wasn't. After all, this was a matter of her life!

Even though she was innocent and had a clear conscience, she was also convinced that the law wouldn't let anyone go, if she couldn't escape the sentence, she was afraid that after giving birth, she would need to return to jail. The medications could only help them temporary but soon enough, they wouldn't be able to hide it anymore. Therefore, they had to solve all the problems before the year ended, no matter what!

Willy gave her a comforting hug and lowered his head to kiss her forehead.

At the dining table, the two of them enjoyed a quiet meal without any disturbance. As they ate, Willy continued to comfort her, which made Lauren's lonely soul feel a sense of belonging and warmth for the first time. As the sun rose, it was yet another sunny day.

On that day, before going to the office, Trevor went to Selena's apartment first. Strangely, after arranging for the doctor to see her the day before, she hadn't called him or texted him again.
