Benson 101
Chapter 101 A Helpless Morning
The early morning sunlight gently seeped through the sheer curtains, casting dappled shadows on the soft carpet.
The sky still held the faint blue of dawn, a tranquility that didn’t last long. A sudden, urgent doorbell shattered the morning’s calm.
Yvonne frowned, feeling the first hint of annoyance of the day. She turned over in bed, trying to block out the disturbance and sink back into her delightful dream. The room was fragrant, the lingering scent of the lavender essential oil she used the night before, warm and soothing.
This was supposed to be a lazy morning, but the doorbell, like a persistent visitor, continued relentlessly, refusing to leave.
Meanwhile, Benson was already sitting up in bed, his expression grim, clearly displeased by the early morning interruption. He donned a loose gray robe and walked heavily towards the hall. At the door, Megan’s figure appeared anxious.
“Miss Yvonne, I have good news…” Megan began, but quickly noticed Benson’s displeasure, her tone faltering.
Benson gripped the doorknob tightly, taking a slight breath to control his emotions, then looked at Megan, This better be important.” His voice was low, with an undeniable authority.
Megan met Benson’s eyes fearlessly, she knew she held crucial information, a turning point. “Megan, come in,” Benson finally stepped aside, realizing it might indeed be urgent.
Megan exhaled softly, walking past Benson straight to Yvonne’s bedroom. She pushed the door open, replaceing Yvonne still half–closed eyes, appearing tired but maintaining her elegance. “Miss Yvonne, the proposal you sent to the major brands? BR has scheduled a meeting with us.”
“BR?” Yvonne perked up at the name, a bit surprised, “When?”
“This afternoon at four. They’ve given us an hour.” Megan’s voice was filled with excitement and anticipation.
Yvonne quickly calculated; it would take just two hours to get to BR’s headquarters in Beishan. She swiftly made a decision, “Book the tickets, we leave at ten.” Her decisive attitude reflecting her entrepreneurial efficiency
After Megan left, Yvonne stood up and walked to the window, opening it to breathe in the fresh air, her mind swirling with thoughts.
She hadn’t waited for the opportunity but created it herself. Now, at this moment, the opportunity was beckoning, and she couldn’t miss it.
Benson, having heard Megan, came up behind her, wrapping his arms around her waist. “It’s still early, sleep a bit more?”
His lips touched her neck lightly, inhaling softly. This intimate gesture seemed to be his morning routine, a way to be close to her.
Was it because of the essential oil from last night?
She smelled really nice
Her scent, like the lingering dream from last night, made his heart tremble.
“I know you’re excited,” Benson murmured, a playful smile on his lips, “but we need to clear our heads
now.”

Yvonne smiled slightly, her eyes sparkling with charm, “You’re right, Mr. Benson. We can’t miss this opportunity.”
Their conversation was filled with mutual understanding and trust, their intimacy seeming to transcend their professional collaboration, resembling more a pursuit of shared goals and ideals.
Benson held her close; they were so near, they could hear each other’s heartbeat. Their closeness was not just physical but a deep emotional connection and support.
“Last night, holding you, I hardly slept,” he whispered gently in her ear, his hand caressing her back, matching her breath.
Yvonne felt his warmth, her body gradually relaxing, a sense of security spreading through her heart.
Although she didn’t fully agree, what did it matter? These intimate moments, their feelings seemed to convey more profoundly than words.
He lifted her, gently placing her back on the bed.
Yvonne:”
Benson held her tightly, “I told you, but you didn’t listen
Sometimes, a bit of firmness can achieve goals more quickly.
“Last night, holding you, I hardly slept,” his voice softened, his head resting on her shoulder.
Yvonne felt his weight making it hard to breathe.
“Get off.”
He indeed got up but trapped her on the bed.
Yvonne tried to kick him, but he swiftly grabbed her leg
Her face flushed red, struggling with all her might, but he didn’t move an inch.
In the end, Yvonne gave up, letting him do as he pleased.
She couldn’t struggle, only comply, but her dislike for him was evident.
Benson felt a hint of displeasure.
The morning light was still dim, the bedroom dark.
The man whispered in her ear, “Yvonne, I like you.”
He looked at her, his heart surging with emotion.
Benson felt absurd, how could he act like this in front of her?
In front of that person, he struggled to control himself, refusing to let go completely.
That afternoon, Yvonne left Bergen, Benson driving her, she didn’t refuse. The car was filled with tense silence, the scenery outside the window contrasting with Yvonne’s inner turmoil. She gazed quietly out the window, her expression inscrutable.
The car stopped at a secluded street corner, Yvonne got out without hesitation. Her steps were firm and cold, with no intention of looking back.
Benson watched her back, understanding that her composure was temporary, unable to escape this situation for now. If she could choose one day, she would leave without hesitation.
Back in the car, Yvonne tried to focus on the documents at hand, but the phone ringing interrupted his

thoughts. “Yvonne, where are you?” a worried voice came from the other end.
“I have to go
to Beishan temporarily, what’s wrong?” Yvonne’s tone was calm, but her tightly gripped phone revealed her tension.
“Nothing, just…. Uncle John used to support Mary.” Megan hesitated, trying to steady her emotions.
“What?” Yvonne’s voice trembled slightly, not expecting such sudden news. What role did Mary play in that fire? Her thoughts were instantly thrown into turmoil, unease and doubt swirling in her mind.
After the call, she couldn’t calm down for a long time. She tried to focus on her work, but the information. before her eyes seemed elusive, making it hard to concentrate.
Meanwhile, in another place, Bella was forced to sit on a man’s lap. Andrew’s eyes revealed a hint of satisfaction and control.
“As an old lover, I’m still quite good, right?” his voice low and provocative.
Bella was speechless, silently lowering her head, filled with disgust and helplessness. Andrew’s hand mercilessly grabbed her hair, forcing her to look up, then kissed her hard.
