Chapter 108 Yvonne’s Revenge
The next morning, Yvonne gradually woke up in her warm bed, still feeling the fatigue from last night’s busy work.
She stretched, feeling the slight soreness in her muscles, as if the work from the previous night was still lingering in her body.
She got up, put on a soft robe, and walked to the window to pull back the heavy curtains.
The morning sunlight instantly flooded the room, casting a golden glow on her delicate face. She squinted slightly, enjoying the brief moment of tranquility.
She knew that after leaving the restaurant last night, Raymond got into Benson’s car, and the two of them went to a secluded café to talk for nearly an hour.
Standing by the window, Yvonne frowned slightly, her thoughts scattered.
In her mind, she pictured Raymond and Benson sitting in the dimly lit café, a cup of cooling coffee on the table between them, conversing in low voices with serious expressions.
Yvonne bit her lip, feeling an invisible pressure enveloping her.
She hoped their relationship would remain strained.
If Raymond truly helped her, it would trouble her greatly
She didn’t want to accept any help from him, even if it was well–intentioned.
This complex emotion kept a constant feeling of oppression in her heart.
She walked to the vanity, picked up a brush, and mechanically combed her long hair, her reflection in the mirror showing a pensive look.
Raymond had asked her to sign the contract that afternoon, but she found an excuse to postpone it.
The trust between her and Benson had long since collapsed.
She didn’t understand Benson’s intentions in doing this. Even if it was out of goodwill, she didn’t want to accept it or owe him anything.
Her fingers gently stroked the cover of the contract, her heart filled with contradictions and unease.
Yvonne’s performance at the restaurant that evening was impeccable.
The high–end restaurant located in the city center had an interior decorated in a classical European style, with exquisite paintings hanging on the walls.
Soft lighting bathed every corner, creating a warm and gentle atmosphere.
Each dish was like a work of art, a perfect blend of color and taste that was hard to forget.
With
her wit and charm, Yvonne skillfully guided the dinner conversation, making the entire event smooth and enjoyable.
Her behavior and speech exuded professionalism and elegance, with occasional well–timed humor that earned laughter and approval from the brand representatives.
As she and Megan left the private room, Yvonne inadvertently caught sight of George, which gave her a slight shock.
George’s appearances always caught her off guard, as if he had a special intuition and could always show

up at the most inappropriate times.
He was tall and hard to ignore, even in a crowd.
Yvonne immediately gave Megan a look, and the latter understood her intention at once.
Megan nodded slightly and led the brand representatives away first, her actions natural and courteous.
Megan knew that at such critical moments, the most Important thing was to protect Yvonne from being entangled in past troubles.
As the elevator doors slowly opened, Megan took the brand representatives Inside, followed by George and a slightly tipsy Benson.
The air was tinged with a slight awkwardness. Benson glanced around, seemingly searching for Yvonne.
His voice carried a hint of alcohol, but his gaze remained sharp, occasionally sweeping over Megan. Miss Yvonne isn’t here?” he asked, a hint of provocation in his tone.
“No, Miss Yvonne had other matters to attend to,” Megan calmly responded, her voice steady and firm.
Her expression remained composed, her calmness providing a sense of reassurance to those around her.
Megan deeply understood how much Yvonne disliked these sudden encounters, so she did everything she could to avoid any possible conflicts
Benson seemed to pick up on Megan’s attitude. He didn’t press further, just smiled, seemingly expressing an unspoken understanding of the unexpected meeting
Clearly, tonight’s gathering place was chosen by George on purpose, knowing that Yvonne would also be
there.
Yvonne delayed ten minutes before coming downstairs. Megan had already escorted the clients away, and she was standing at the entrance, about to call a cab when George approached.
“Madam, may I drive you home?” George’s voice was low and firm, his eyes carrying an unyielding
determination.
Yvonne initially wanted to refuse but then heard George say, “Mr. Benson is home.”
“Alright,” she replied, with no hint of embarrassment at being caught. She walked gracefully toward George’s car, her head held high.
In the car, Yvonne continued to check her work messages, her face showing no change in expression.
George glanced at her through the rearview mirror and said, “The things I sent over that day, there were no backups.”
Yvonne paused, feeling a turmoil inside.
She knew he was referring to the video of Marcus hitting Mary.
“Marcus is abroad now, those things don’t matter anymore.” Her gaze returned to her phone screen, her tone indifferent.
“Madam, I’m serious. I personally negotiated with Mary to hand over the video…” George continued, his voice tinged with a hint of pleading.
“You negotiated with Mary?” Yvonne was puzzled, her brows furrowing slightly. She thought Benson was the one who spent a lot of money to buy the video from security.
“Yes, I did. That day, watching you leave the club together, he really wanted to make it up to you… George’s words were filled with sincerity.

Yvonne smiled coldly, her eyes sharp, “George, there’s a saying: The intention doesn’t matter, the action does.”
Harm is harm; there was no need to exonerate Benson! Her heart was filled with anger, but she remained calm on the surface.
“But…” George wanted to say more but was interrupted by Yvonne.
“George, I never realized you could be so talkative!” Yvonne said coldly, wanting him to stop.
George felt awkward but forced a smile. “When you asked me how the boss was doing abroad, you didn’t
think I talked too much,”
Yvonne had no response and fell silent.
She wasn’t someone who didn’t repay kindness. The next day, she went to the company early, carrying the contract Raymond had sent, to see Benson.
The building was new, just recently moved into for office use. Yvonne waited downstairs for a while. before Benson came down. When he saw her, his tone was quite gentle, “Why didn’t you come up?”
“Is it appropriate for me to go up as Mrs. Benson?” she replied, her words laced with sarcasm, a hint of coldness flashing in her eyes.
Benson sighed, a trace of helplessness in his expression. “When will you let go of this anger?”
“Sign this, and I will.” Yvonne’s tone was firm, her eyes showing a hint of stubbornness.
“I hesitated before. Out of guilt towards you, I should have divorced…. But seeing you come out with Marcus, I lost the thought of divorce,” he said, looking at her with complex emotions.
“So… L.S is your sincerity?” Yvonne’s tone carried a hint of sarcasm and disdain.
