Benson 137
Chapter 137 Last Night’s Warmth
When Yvonne woke up, Benson was no longer in bed.
She rolled over, feeling the emptiness next to her, and a slight sense of disappointment crept into her
heart.
She slowly sat up, rubbed her sleepy eyes, and looked out the window.
The morning sunlight streamed in through the gaps in the curtains, enveloping the room in warm light.
She walked out of the bedroom and saw Benson on her treadmill, wearing a pair of sweatpants but no
shirt.
Benson was quite fair–skinned, so much so that the tiny black dot on his neck was easily noticeable.
Though his skin was fair, his physique was exceptional–broad shoulders, a narrow waist, and well- defined yet not overly exaggerated muscles.
He exuded an indescribable sense of strength, perhaps what people refer to as sexual tension.
Yvonne, being an ordinary person, couldn’t help but admire a handsome man or a beautiful woman when she saw one. And this man had been intimately with her in bed just the previous night.
The way he raised his neck, letting her bite his Adam’s apple, the desire and sensuality of it were stil -fresh in her memory.
Benson slowed down his running and glanced back at her. When their eyes met, he slightly smirked, stopped the treadmill, and walked over to her, teasing. Do you like what you see?”
“Yeah, nice body,” Yvonne said straightforwardly. She was objective; if he dared to ask, she dared to
answer.
Benson wrapped her in his arms. His body was hot from the workout.
Yvonne watched as sweat trickled down his defined body.
She suddenly remembered last night when they were both sweaty and intimately holding each other. “Want to touch like last night?” he whispered into her ear, seeing her ears turn red.
She loved hugging his waist or back, trembling uncontrollably, and it enchanted him.
“Another round?” he added, his voice low and tempting.
Yvonne didn’t want to, and she didn’t cooperate while in his arms.
“Don’t move,” he said, gripping her waist and leaning down to kiss her.
Their morning kiss was gentle yet intense.
Yvonne had to admit, Benson was very good at kissing, Leaning against him, she felt so comfortable that her toes curled.
Their bodies pressed closer together, and she could feel every tension and relaxation of his muscles, as if every movement conveyed his emotions.
Benson half–carried her to the sofa. She sat on his lap, and after kissing for a while, he asked, “What do you want to eat?”
“Anything,” she said, feeling so lazy from his kisses that she didn’t even have the energy to think.

“You go freshen up, and J’ll cook,” he said, affectionately patting her waist, his tone gentle and doting.
Yvonne sat on the sofa, slightly dazed, watching him walk into the kitchen. Her heart felt a mix of emotions she couldn’t quite describe.
She knew Benson’s kindness to her was genuine, but she couldn’t entirely overcome the barrier in her heart.
If only there weren’t so many complications between them.
She didn’t dwell on it, got up to wash up, and changed her clothes.
By the time she came out of the bathroom, a sumptuous breakfast was already laid out on the table- fried eggs, toast, bacon, and a steaming cup of coffee
“Come and eat,” Benson smiled at her, standing by the table, his eyes warm and expectant.
She nodded and sat down to eat. The atmosphere during breakfast was exceptionally warm, reminiscent of the beautiful early days of their relationship.
After breakfast, they left together. Benson leaned against the doorframe, not moving.
Yvonne looked at him, puzzled, “What’s wrong?”
“Enter my fingerprint,” he said, looking at her with a hint of anticipation.
After thinking for a moment, Yvonne entered his fingerprint into the door lock.
He could now enter freely, which made him quite happy. On the way to the company, he held her hand and said, “Mary has terminated her contract with the company.”
Yvonne glanced sideways, “You agreed?”
“Why wouldn’t I?” he asked, brushing the hair from her cheek, his gaze gentle.
His words implied that she could handle Mary as she saw fit.
This long–standing issue finally seemed resolved.
Yvonne felt a mix of emotions and seriously looked at him from the back seat of the car.
“Benson, can I trust you? Can you really deal with her?”
Not like last time, right? “That depends… how about giving me a chance?”
Benson’s gaze was intense.
He could feel that Yvonne was comfortable being with him during this period, both in their interactions and in bed last night.
Yvonne was smart but not very good at hiding her emotions, especially in bed. He didn’t want to miss this. opportunity and wanted to strike while the iron was hot
“I think about it,” Yvonne said coolly.
“Okay, I’ll pick you up from work tonight?” he said.
This morning, Las Vegas was covered in snow, and the roads weren’t good. “Okay,” she nodded.
At Caesar Group, Benson watched her walk into the office building. After taking a few steps, she turned back, and Benson smiled at her.
However, her gaze wasn’t on him.
Chapter 137 Last Naht’s Warmdie
They walked into the office building side by side, looking quite compatible despite their height difference.
“She likes coffee?” Benson asked, a complex emotion flashing in his eyes.
“Seems so,” George replied.
Yvonne invited Jeremy into her office. “Didn’t expect you to come so early.”
“Want to sign the contract early. I need to return to Hong Kong tomorrow,” Jeremy replied with a smile.
“Good,” Yvonne nodded.
After signing the contract, Yvonne took Jeremy to tour the stores in Caesar Plaza, giving BR the best spot and discussing her future plans.
Then she asked Megan to prepare ski gear and took Jeremy to experience skiing.
On the snowy mountains, Yvonne, dressed in ski gear and goggles, looked heroic and valiant.
Yvonne was a skilled skier, gliding smoothly on the snow, her movements elegant and agile, like a seagull soaring over a white sea.
The coach stayed with Jeremy, who was hesitant at first but eventually just sat in the snow, watching her
ski
“Come on, give it a try. Just relax and believe in yourself. Remember the moves and test the slope. I won’t let you fall,” Yvonne encouraged, reaching out to him.
Jeremy sat on the ground, looking at her for a long moment, her clear eyes different from when she discussed business. She wasn’t treating him as a partner but more like a friend.
Yet, it was the same sincerity she showed in business, pure and trustworthy.
He finally reached out his hand.
Though it was Jeremy’s first time skiing, he was smart and quick to learn, soon becoming more skilled. Yvonne stayed responsible, always alongside the coach.
However, at one slope, Jeremy lost balance. Seeing he was about to fall, Yvonne quickly tried to protect him but ended up being his cushion, both rolling into the snow.
When Benson saw this, he was furious.
Standing at the edge of the snowfield, his eyes were glued to the two people tangled in the snow. They’re… already hugging and rolling together?
