Billionaire's Reborn Baby
Chapter 1055 Roxy Copper Five (1)

Collin ran to Roxanne's house one time after another. Leon thought that he was crazy. He actually started to make friends with the "mother-in-law" in advance!

In order to effectively stop Collin's abnormal behavior, when Collin visited Roxanne's house again, Leon quietly followed him.

It was around ten in the morning, but the smell of food was already coming from Roxanne's house.

Mike was sawing wood at home. Collin walked in and up to him. Collin said, "Open your mouth."

Ever since Mike found out that this person was Livia's father, Mike listened to him.

He obediently opened his mouth and allowed Collin to pick up a pen and lightning to shine it at his throat.

In the past few days, Collin had come over to give Mike a check-up. In fact, he had almost finished it on the first day, but he was just coming up with excuses. Sometimes, Collin forgot to bring his laptop. Sometimes, he forgot his glasses and couldn't see clearly.

In short, every time Collin went over, he would stay until noon. Mike would invite him to sit down and have lunch together, and Collin really stayed to eat.

Livia thought it was strange at first, but when she heard that Mike agreed to let Collin check on him, she dispelled her confusion.

"How did he get hurt?" Collin asked a few questions every time he came over.

Mike of course couldn't answer these questions, so Collin had to ask Roxanne.

Roxanne always spoke with no expression. She answered, "He was smashed by the beam of the house that was on fire, and the charcoal that was on fire entered his mouth. When he was rescued, he was unable to speak anymore."

Collin nodded.

Mike had missed the best treatment time, so there was no cure.

The burnt areas in his throat had grown together. Even if there was an operation, there was not much hope of being cured. There were also other risks from the operation.

Roxanne said, "If there he can't be cured, just say it." Then she walked into the bedroom. She had a computer inside, and even though she couldn't connect to the Internet, she was always writing something. Collin followed her into the room and sat beside her.

Many years ago, when Collin's wrist was broken, she was the same.

Roxanne only took care of him when he was eating, and she did her own things at other times. Collin couldn't move his hand, so he accompanied her. Sometimes he watched her play games, sometimes he hugged her and they watched TV together, and sometimes he accompanied her to admire the starry sky.

Tonight... Collin didn't want to go back.

Collin wanted to see if these habits of hers had changed.

"Dr. Mueller!" The voice of Leon came from the door.

Collin frowned in frustration and wonder why he was there?

Roxanne turned around and said, "Your colleague is looking for you."

"My stomach hurts. I don't want to eat school food," Collin said in a low voice.

Roxanne acted as if she didn't hear anything.

Collin's voice went a little louder. He said, "I'll come over to eat later. Leave me some food."

Mike heard it at the door and gestured something.

Collin asked Roxanne, "What did he say?"

Roxanne said helplessly, "He'll leave you some food."

Collin patted Mike's shoulder happily.

Mike didn't know where to look. He hadn't seen many people from the city and was curious about the clothes and shoes they had.

Mike felt that Collin's leather shoes, watch, and white coat were signs of fashion. They were something that only city people could wear. Collin took off his watch and said, "I'll give you the watch. I can't give you this set of clothes. I'll bring you some tomorrow."

Mike waved his hand in panic. He was letting out some sound from his mouth. He was clearly refusing.

Leon had already walked in. When he looked up and saw this scene, he was stunned. He asked, "Damn, you used a watch to buy a girl?"

Collin walked over and kicked him.

"Then what are you doing?" Leon was confused.

Collin said, "He likes it. I'm giving it to him." Collin turned around to face Mike, but his eyes were looking at Roxanne in the room.

Leon said, "That watch is worth more than 200 grand. This Mike likes it, and you just gave it to him?" Leon showed the watch on his wrist to Mike and moved closer to him. Leon said, "Hey, what do you think of my watch? Give me your watch and I'll give you mine. My watch is better..."

Mike was flattered and waved his hand repeatedly.

"Why are you here?" Collin pulled Leon out.

"I just want to see why you are here all day. Isn't that watch of yours..." Before Leon could finish his words, he saw a woman walk out of the room. Roxanne saw that Mike was so anxious that he was about to cry. She walked out, took the watch, and skillfully put it on the Mike.

Mike's entire arm stiffened, and he was making some sounds as he was overwhelmed with fear.

Roxanne said with a rare smile, "He gave it to you, so you should keep it,"

It was rare for Leon to meet a rather beautiful woman here. When Leon recalled that this person was Livia's mother, Ms. Roxy, who didn't want a salary, his admiration for Roxanne grew deeper. He took the initiative to extend his hand over and said, "Ms. Roxy, right? Nice to meet you."

Roxanne glanced at him and said, "Hello."

Collin kept Leon's hand away from Roxanne.
