Billionaire's Reborn Baby -
Chapter 1056 Roxy Copper Five (2)
Leon suddenly remembered that people here were not used to shaking hands, so he withdrew his hand. He stared at Roxanne's face, saying, "You look very familiar. Have we met before?"
Collin thought, 'Of course, you have met me. It was you who asked for the phone number.'
Roxanne smiled slightly. Collin didn't know if Roxanne remembered Leon, but Roxanne smiled at Leon more times than at him, which made him a little unhappy.
In the end, Leon stayed for lunch and asked Roxanne shamelessly after dinner, "Ms. Roxy, can I come to eat tomorrow? The food you cook is the best I've ever tasted. When I came here for the first time, I ate the dish at the school canteen. It made me sick and I almost vomited to death that night. If you don't believe it, ask Doctor Mueller about it!"
"Really?" Roxanne laughed.
For the first time, Collin noticed that Roxanne had other expressions, such as a smile, in front of outsiders when they exaggerated something.
"Of course, it's true!" Leon took a sip of water. "Even the water here tastes better than that at school. Can I bring some when I leave?"
Collin couldn't stand it anymore, "You..."
"Sure." Roxanne stood up and walked into the living room. She then brought over a large glass cup that looked like a fish tank. "But we have no bottles here. Take this when you leave." "Thank you. It's so kind of you!" Leon said happily.
He walked out with a glass in his arms, "Thanks for everything today. Let's get going."
"Well, I'll leave later," Collin said, still standing there.
"It can't be. Will there be dessert?" Leon asked, his eyes lit up.
Collin felt speechless.
He held Leon's collar and brought him to the door and said, "No, there's nothing to eat. Please leave here now. I have something to talk to Roxanne in private."
"Fine." Leon left.
Livia stood up to help clean up the dining table. Seeing that Collin had returned, she asked, "Mr. Collin, is there anything else?"
Mike stretched out his hand to make a gesture but was hit by Roxanne. He withdrew his hand and looked at Roxanne, feeling a little scared.
"Mom, why did you beat him?" Livia asked in confusion.
"There is a mosquito," Roxanne answered, carrying the dishes to the kitchen, expressionlessly.
Livia was there, so Collin didn't dare do anything excessive. He followed behind Roxanne and said, "I'll help you."
He squeezed into the kitchen, which was not big, but every corner was clean and tidy. The bowls and dishes were all kept in the cabinet. These cabinets must have been personally made by Mike and looked very new.
"What do you have to say? Say it." Roxanne put the bowl into the basin that washed the bowl and turned to look at Collin.
Collin glanced outside the door, and when he was sure that Livia wasn't looking over there, he silently moved closer to Roxanne. He pulled her to a position no one could see behind the door, pinched her chin, and kissed her.
He did that for several days. The kisses often came out of the blue, sometimes it happened in the room, in the courtyard, or in the kitchen.
Today, he wanted more than a kiss.
Roxanne's breath raced, and she said, "Get out."
Collin's slender fingers were pressed on her neck. He pressed her against the door, kissed her lips hard, and said in a hoarse voice, "I wanted to do this when I saw you smile."
He kissed her again before walking out.
Livia was going to school.
Every day Collin would send Livia to school.
Roxanne leaned against the door in a daze for a long time before she raised her hand to wipe his lips.
Mike came in to wash the dishes and saw Roxanne's movements. He gestured to ask why she didn't tell Livia, but Roxanne didn't answer him.
Mike was anxious and asked with his gestures, "Is that man doesn't want the kid?"
Roxanne shook her head.
"Did he hate that it was a girl?" Mike gestured.
Roxanne shook her head again.
Mike was confused.
He then gestured to Roxanne as if asking if Collin kissed her."
As soon as his thumb met, Roxanne, blushed and threw the towel on his face, saying, "Don't tell anyone about it!"
Mike had a silly grin on his face.
At the other place.
Because Collin had eaten a few meals at Roxanne's place, it looked like he was familiar with Livia. When Livia came out with her bag, he took her bag naturally. "I'll take it for you."
"No need." Livia took the bag into her hand again and continued, "My mom told me not to trouble an outsider."
Collin thought, 'I'm your father, not an outsider.'
He stood there and did not say it out.
Livia had already walked forward. She was a quiet girl. She would not run unless she was chased by those bad boys.
Collin remembered that when she first came here, she ran here. He thought, 'Was she bullied by those children at that time?'
"Mr. Collin, do you like my mom?" Livia suddenly asked, and the question shocked Collin. He did not expect such a young child to ask that.
