Billionaire's Reborn Baby -
Chapter 964 Losing Control (1)
After Labor Day, Lord Top went to class as usual. The boys in the class did not replace fault with Lord Top, but the atmosphere in class was low and depressed.
The girls gathered around and asked what happened after class. A boy said, "Don't mention it."
The girls were curious and asked, "What's wrong?"
Rollo, who had a gloomy expression on his face, looked up and said to the girl, "Don't ask!"
The girl was so shocked by him that she almost cried. Another girl quickly comforted her, "Don't ask. He must have lost the game."
"What does it have to do with me if he loses the game? Why is he angry at me?" The girl wiped her tears and cried aggrievedly. The others pulled her over to comfort her.
Lord Top was disturbed by the cries. When it was time for lunch, she took her school bag and went to the lawn in the shade. She was eating while reading. Suddenly, she got a message.
It was from Guard D, "Eat quickly. We'll play games after you finish eating."
Lord Top didn't reply.
Rollo and a few other boys went to the playground after lunch. All of them were in a bad mood and were ready to play basketball. As they were walking on the road, they heard the sound of playing games not far away.
"Be careful. Don't be attacked by enemies. Look at the map."
"The enemy is going down to attack the beasts. You guys stay behind and wait for me."
"Your economy is too weak. Remember to use the last blood to get the coin."
"Follow me to anti-attack the enemy."
The boys had heard the voice before. When this person first came to the class and introduced himself on stage, he said in such a voice. "Nice to meet you. My name is Casey Elliott."
At that time, many people laughed at him as his name sounded like a girl's, but he was good-looking. As soon as he appeared, he attracted the attention of all the girls in the class, including Rosa. When Rollo heard that voice, he frowned. When he heard the game terminology, he couldn't help but walk over.
Lord Top sat on the lawn, with a book, a sandwich, and a bottle of water beside. She was very engrossed in the mobile phone screen and one of her hands moved quickly on the screen.
Lord Top had her headphones on, so she couldn't hear the voices at all. She didn't know that several people were standing in front of her for more than ten minutes.
After the game ended, Lord Top checked the time and said to Guard D at the other end of the earpiece, "I have to take a nap now. Let's play again tonight."
After pulling out her headphones, Lord Top noticed that a few people stood in front of her. She packed her things and was about to leave when she was stopped by Rollo. "You know how to play games?"
Rollo asked knowingly because he had seen her playing games skillfully. He also saw the final score that she was an MVP!
Lord Top frowned and looked at them, obviously not wanting to have anything to do with them, so she shook her head and said, "No."
Rollo was stupefied.
The boys next to Rollo couldn't believe it.
Rollo's prepared speech was stuck in his throat. He looked at Lord Top and paused for a moment before saying, "Weren't you just playing games?"
Lord Top stood there looking at him, not knowing why Rollo would ask her this since he saw her playing games.
Rollo rubbed his hands and said, "You're good at games. Would you like to join our team? We will play games together and will share the money with you."
Lord Top shook her head, "No. I have to read books."
Lord Top had made so much money in the previous competition that she could not spend all of it. Moreover, Randy's team was earning money every year. In other words, Lord Top was rich and didn't need to bother with money.
Rollo was speechless. Seeing that Lord Top was about to leave, he immediately stopped her. "Are you still a member of Class C? Do you have any collective sense of honor?"
"I don't know that the collective sense of honor includes playing games together. Can you tell me more in detail? I'll go to the office to consult the teacher later." Lord Top looked at him with a blank expression. "Alright, it's not about the collective sense of honor. It's about ourselves. We played games with someone and lost. They asked us to continue the competition this Friday." Rollo felt frustrated and told the truth. If it were in the past, Rollo would just beat whoever didn't listen to him. But Lord Top was good at games, and Rollo didn't dare to act rashly. He was worried that after beating her up, she would still not listen to him. Lord Top had a strong aura that she would never admit defeat and would never bow her head. Even if he stepped on her, she would still look down at him.
Rollo felt that his sincere remarks would move her. However, his lackeys lost momentum when they heard his words. Lord Top said indifferently, "Well, good luck." Rollo was shocked to hear that.
