Chapter 593 Ricky's Involvement

The outskirts of the Virulent Sand Flow were a naturally desolate land.

The only place where it was possible to produce the Massacring Sand and the Massacring Soil wasat an extremely desolate and deserted Land of Legacy such as the Virulent Sand Flow.

Suddenly, two figures hurriedly passed through the desolate land. One of the figures was a good-looking man, while the other was a beautiful woman. "Brother, it's fine if you leave me alone now. With me dragging you down, it will be impossible foryou to escape!” said the woman sadly yet firmly as she saw how her brother tried very hard to fleeas far as he could while making sure she didn't get left behind.

"What nonsense are you talking about!? If I leave you here alone, how am I supposed to look ourfather in the eye once I reach him? I won't run away alone. Whatever happens, we must leavetogether!" The man scolded his sister upon hearing the absurdity of her words

His face, ragged and somber with exhaustion though, was filled with his strong determination tomake sure he and his sister would both make it out alive.

"Samson, Carley, I advise that you do not waste any more of your time and energy. As long as youhand that thing over to me, I promise not to kill you," a person said rather callously from behind."Ha-ha! And I, the future tribe leader, will bring you great joy, Carley!" another man said. Unlike thefirst one, his voice sounded livelier but cruder.

Soon, six figures altogether rushed towards the direction of the man and his sister. All the six figureswere men in golden robes.

Ricky definitely knew one of the six men. It was Keith of the Golden Rhino tribe. During theselection, he was originally with the young master of the Heaven Palace.

However, after the young master's death, Keith used a spiritual space tool and ran away.

Since Keith was with them, there must be other members of the Golden Rhino tribe among the sixyoung men. And that turned out to be true. Together with Keith, there were three young men withtwo golden horns on either sides of their heads. The horns symbolized the Golden Rhino tribe.There were two men who, judging from their stance and temperament, seemed to be the leaders ofthe group. One of the men at the forefront of their group bore a younger appearance and amuscular figure. He appeared to be even stronger than Keith.

The other man had a thinner build. Nevertheless, his lean figure did not diminish the dominatingand oppressive aura that surrounded him.

Sure enough, the two men were both second-class middle spiritual kings, which also meant thatthey were much older than Justin.

It didn't take long before the six young men surrounded Samson and his sister.

"Samson, do you still want to run away?" the thin young man said as he clasped his arms around hischest. He seemed to have everything under control.

Standing in the background was the man from the Golden Rhino tribe. He silently stared at Carleywith a salacious expression on his face. Due to her injuries and her exhaustion at that time, Carleylooked extremely pale and weak. Paired with her breathtaking beauty, the sight of her helpless statewould intensify an immoral person's indecent desires.

"Martin, do people from the Golden Leopard Valley always break their promises? That place wasdiscovered together by the elders of our two forces. And yet, you invited and brought in peoplefrom the Golden Rhino tribe, all while trying to kill the people of our clan! You even want to wipe usall out completely from the world. What a vicious individual you truly are!" Samson looked at thethin man resentfully. He made sure that the thin man felt the overwhelming disgust he felt in everyword he uttered.

The alliance was originally formed by the Nanchao Clan and the Golden Leopard Valley. However,the moment they entered the Land of Legacy, people of the Golden Leopard Valley immediatelybroke off the agreement they had with the people of the Nanchao Clan.

The unexpected betrayal of the people from the Golden Leopard Valley led to the unfortunate endof Samson and Carley's people. The two of them were the only two left of the Nanchao Clan'stalented disciples.

From where they currently stood and based on their current state, Samson and Carley had nochance of winning or even surviving against their opponents.

Samson and Carley looked at each other with firm determination. Even if they had to die, theywould never choose to compromise. Deep down they knew, the moment they agreed tocompromise with the traitors who annihilated their people, it would mean a humiliating defeat forall of them.

"You know, it's not really fair to blame the Golden Leopard Valley for all that's happened. If there issomeone who is rightfully to be blamed, it's Ricky. The fact that the Nanchao Clan has a very closerelationship with Ricky simply means that you are also nothing more than an enemy of the GoldenLeopard Valley!" Martin Jin shouted ferociously. For a brief moment there, he exhibited bitterness inhis otherwise stern and expressionless visage.

Just by letting the name "Ricky" slip in between his lips, it was enough to make his heart and hisentire being shake uncontrollably with deep-seated rage.

Martin Jin harbored a passionate wrath for Ricky. Not only did he kill the Golden Leopard Valley'ssecond young master, but he also seized the spiritual space tool. It was a precious item thatoriginally belonged to their people. As such, it was natural for the people of the Golden LeopardValley to feel intense hatred towards Ricky and his allies.

"Ricky? You mean that ace genius? But, we have nothing to do with him! I don't even know muchabout him. His family name is Nan, and we are the Nanchao Clan. Is that the reason why you believehe has a close relationship with us?" Samson was really confused by Martin Jin's words.

As far as he knew, the Nanchao Clan had truly nothing to do with Ricky. He really couldn'tunderstand why Martin Jin and his people assumed that they shared a close bond with Ricky.

"The Nanchao Clan may not have any direct contact with Ricky, but our probe uncovered a simpletruth: your cousin, Madeline, is constantly with Ricky,” Martin Jin revealed. He held a gaze that wasas cold as freezing ice.

"Thus, if I capture you and your sister and spread word that we are holding you captive, then yourcousin Madeline will surely come before us to try and save you. And, if she does come, then Rickywill definitely appear alongside her.”

Samson and Carley were finally able to piece together all the events of recent past, after Martin Jinexplained everything for them.

The siblings looked at each other with grief. They felt very helpless and sorrowful.

They hadn't even known Ricky. All they knew about that mysterious fellow was that his associationwith their clan caused the death of their precious friends and family. Had it not been for that Ricky,they would still be with their people.

“Ricky, who the hell are you?" Samson and Carley painfully thought to themselves. Desperationslowly began to eat their hearts and minds out.

They hated Martin Jin for killing off the entire Nanchao Clan. At the same time, they couldn't helpbut be anguished by Ricky's involvement in their loved ones’ demise.

"Anyway, you can be rest assured that I will not kill you or hurt you before Ricky comes,” Martin Jinsaid while resisting the strong urge to kill.

His murderous intent was aimed at Ricky. He didn't really care much about Samson and his sister."Martin, I think as long as you capture Samson, Ricky will surely come for him. That said...can youleave his sister—Carley—to me?" the young man of the Golden Rhino tribe whispered to theseething man beside him. His golden eyes glanced at Samson.

"Duncan, I'm sorry but not now," Martin Jin answered, shaking his head.

"What are you talking about? Why are you so reluctant to grant me this simple wish? Why can't youjust let me have this woman?" Duncan Jin protested. He was extremely disappointed that Martin Jinrefused to grant his request.

"It's not that I'm reluctant to let you have what you want,” Martin Jin clarified. "Now's just not theright time for that. Besides, it has been agreed that no one is allowed to harm both siblings beforeRicky appears.

If our parties end up in a dispute because you insist what you want, then there is nothing else I cando about it."

At first, Duncan Jin gave Martin Jin a sullen look. But after realizing that Martin Jin did have a solidpoint, his gloominess was instantly replaced by a calm and collected feeling. His glum expressionupturned into a smile.

Duncan Jin had to tolerate his disappointment and avoid engaging into an argument with MartinJin. Martin Jin still had in his possession an item that he gravely needed.

"You said it, Martin! So let's make a deal. The moment Ricky shows up, you should hand over thatwoman to me!" Duncan Jin couldn't control the hint of lust in his grin.

Martin Jin noticed the change in Duncan Jin's expression, but he decided to ignore it. He opted toreciprocate Duncan Jin's ecstatic mood with a light smile. "Thank you for understanding me,Duncan. This time, our cooperation will surely not lead to any losses. You can count on that.”
