Chapter 594 The Attack

"Did you really think that my sister and I would wave a white flag and let ourselves be capturedwithout even putting up a fight?" Samson asked shortly when he heard the conversation betweenMartin and Duncan.

Boom! As his voice trailed off, energy waves started to build up, enclosing their bodies. The nextmoment, the siblings moved quickly to start their attack.

Martin didn't think that their attack posed any serious threat to him. With a wave of his hand, theintense Golden Enlightenment spread out and neutralized the energy waves coming toward himfrom the attack.

Martin's counter attack didn't stop there, though. The Golden Enlightenment hit Samson and hissister hard; they fell onto the ground and were temporarily stunned.

"Samson, I suggest you giving up on this fight, because trying to win against me is futile. You twohave already been severely wounded and can't even claim to be competent opponents any more.Your only hope lies in Ricky coming to your aid—that's the only way that you'll live another day,"Martin said coldly.

Then, Martin turned over his palm, and with the snap of his fingers, two golden lights were insertedinto their shoulders. The golden lights locked their shoulder blades into place. Neither of themcould use their spiritual energy in that moment.

As their shoulders were paralyzed, both of them looked desperate and horrified

"Ricky, in spite of your reputation as an ace genius, you'll die here too. I'm finally gonna avenge mybrother's death.” Martin seemed to be fantasizing about the end of Ricky's life, and his heart wasswelled with excitement.

"Of course, I'll take whatever you have collected and gained after I kill you,” he added as a big smilespread across his face.

At that moment, Martin failed to see the grim expression on Duncan's face.

There was a strange roar in the distance.

Several seconds later, a howling gale of red flames was flying directly towards Martin and his group.Martin and Duncan were caught off guard by the sudden attack, and were frightened by its extremepower.

Without wasting any time to think or hesitate, they organized their defense, trying to resist the burstof flames.

An enormous fire snake that writhed and hissed came from inside the flames. It bared its sharpteeth and had its blood power readied for another attack. That forced Martin and his men to stepbackward in shock.

Needless to say, the fire snake was actually Soar.

The moment Ricky and his companions left the Virulent Sand Flow, they saw Martin and his group.An airship was coming from the horizon at the speed of lightning, carrying Ricky and others.

Soar quickly rescued Samson and his sister before he retreated, waiting for his reinforcements.

He decided that he had better leave trying to deal with Martin and his companions to Ricky.

He was ordered to save their lives, and that mission had been done successfully.

The next moment, a golden light flashed and stopped before Soar. It was Ricky descending from theairship.

"Today must be my lucky day. I just sent some of my enemies to hell. Now I've just met some others.Good morning, my friends from the Golden Leopard Valley and Golden Rhino tribe," Ricky saidcoldly, with obvious murderous intent in his voice.

"Ricky! That's Ricky!" Samson exclaimed in surprise when he figured out the origin of the cold voicethat was speaking.

At that moment, extremely complicated feelings surged in their chests. They hated Ricky because, ifit weren't Ricky, they would have more allies from the Nanchao Clan that were still alive. They hadnobody except themselves at that point. It was totally Ricky's fault.

At that point it was Ricky that came to their assistance, though.

They just didn't know whether they should hate him or try and thank him for saving their lives."Ricky! You little prick!" After seeing Ricky's sudden appearance, Martin looked desperate and sick.He stared at Ricky ferociously as if he could kill him just by looking at him.

"Martin, you look a lot like your dead little brother. Keith, long time no see. It's a pity that I let youslip away last time. You were really lucky last time, but now you're pushing it,” Ricky said, smilinglightly.

"You killed my brother and his men. Then, you took their treasures. Now, you dare stand before meand laugh? You're such an insolent, dishonest, and crazy bastard.” Martin gave a snort of disgust ashis power was building up to the most extreme limit it could reach.

"I guess you must be Ricky. I didn't expect to meet you so soon. Haha! It's better this way, though.I'm gonna put an end to your young life now," Duncan threatened with a sneer.

On the other side, Soar took the opportunity to send the brother and sister to the safety of theairship.

Meanwhile, Terrence had disembarked from the airship and stood beside Ricky.

"Ricky, it looks like each of us has to deal with three guys. Do you want to fight with the three foolsfrom the Golden Leopard Valley, or those from the Golden Rhino tribe?" Terrence said to Rickydirectly. He didn't consider Martin and the others to be worthy opponents at all.

"Who are you standing here and bluffing? Fight against me and I'll kick your ass and teach you alesson.” Duncan rebuked Terrence when he heard his contemptuous words. Then, Duncan stampedhis feet, and moved forward to appear before Terrence in the blink of an eye. He wielded hisimposing fists, breaking the space as he tried to hit Terrence in the face

Feeling the attacks coming toward him, Terrence became serious. He seemed to have made amistake and underestimated his opponent before.

As far as he was concerned, if he hadn't made a breakthrough at the Land of Vitality, he might havebeen blown to hell by Duncan's fists. Even then, he felt like his physical strength was inferior to thatof the fists coming at his face.

Ricky's eyes were sharp as he had also noticed the two enormous fists that Duncan used to attack.He was kind of worried about Terrence's safety.

"I hadn't been informed that Martin and Duncan were excellent at fighting!" Ricky muttered tohimself, and became more cautious.

Both Martin and Duncan were inner disciples of the Oriental College.

Boom! Terrence and Duncan collided with each other hard and fast. The energy waves from theimpact were spreading in all directions. Both of them were forced to step backward, and their feetleft ragged marks in the ground.

"Duncan's strength is impressive. He must have made some incredible breakthrough in hiscultivation over the past few months,” Ricky said to himself after witnessing the brief exchange ofblows between the two fighters.

However, the fighting didn't stop there. Martin regained his composure. He quickly built up hispower and kicked his right leg out. He was aiming the attack at Ricky's neck. As he did that, he hadalso injected the Golden Enlightenment into his right leg.

Ricky responded speedily. Without any hesitation or reservation, he used his massacring power toits fullest extent. He stretched out his palm, and hit Martin's leg as it came at him.

An earsplitting sound was produced from the collision between the leg and the palm. Both of themfelt shock and numbness racing through their bodies after hitting each other. They retreated backseveral steps, gasping as they were quickly regaining their strength for further attacks

The shock and surprise in their eyes mirrored each other. Although it was their first time fightingagainst each other, they could already feel the formidable strength their opponents had.

"How could Ricky grow stronger so quickly? Since when has he mastered the power of a second-class middle spiritual king?" Martin just couldn't believe what he was perceiving as they fought.Not long ago, he was told that Ricky's cultivation was inferior to a middle spiritual king.

"Did he really make such amazing progress in the past several months?" Martin was shocked by hisown speculation. "It can't be true! It's just impossible! Even an ace genius wouldn't be able to dosomething like that.”

At that very moment, as he thought about Ricky's horrible growth rate, Martin couldn't hide hismurderous intention any longer. To prevent Ricky from becoming any stronger, he had to actrecklessly and kill him there.

"This is another perilous battle, right?" Ricky forced a smile despite the grim situation.

He was also taken aback by Martin's and Duncan's power. In spite of being two geniuses from twospiritual-king forces, they could fight extremely well.

"Damn it! I shouldn't underestimate any geniuses!"
