Hades bowed to his parents while his new wife only bowed her head in respect. Celesia approached her son and after giving him a final up and down inspection, nodded and kissed him on the bridge of his nose.

-Visit us more often or I swear I’ll come to see you, your brother goes at least every three months,” she said.

-Or every time he escapes,” Hades finished and kissed his mother back. He knew she missed them, it was just that in recent times and since they decided to live a freer life, it was more complicated for them to meet.

-Leave that to me,” Nebraska blinked slowly, “I’ll set up a routine to visit them and bring my kids along, they’ve been talking to me all night about you and they’ll be grateful to be able to visit you on a regular basis.

The wolf couldn’t tell if he was being serious or just joking.

-Saisen, watch your words,” the she-wolf said over her shoulder and then turned her attention to Nebraska, ignoring them.

-That’s something I still don’t understand between you, my mother is too severe and you are…” she looked his father up and down and in character Leoxi was more like him, “I still don’t understand it.

-You will, son, I can tell you that,” he patted Hades on the back, “Celesia, let’s go. Hades, say goodbye to your brother and Siran.

The alpha nodded and said goodbye to his parents who began to walk away side by side. They were as different as night and day, but together, they looked devilishly good.

Saisen walked in good spirits and took his wife by the hand.

She looked at him, shaking her hair.

Celesia came closer and kissed his lips.

Saisen smiled and kissed her again as he walked on and was struck on the buttock with a heel. In her time as alpha the situation had been turbulent, the arrival of her children almost chaotic, but she had no regrets.

Hades turned around after losing sight of his parents and waited for Nebraska to join him walking back to the mansion.

-I see you’ve made good chemistry with my mother,” he said.

-She’s an interesting woman,” he fluttered his eyelashes.

The alpha raised an eyebrow, he had to keep those two women from bonding too long. His mother knew a lot about everything, and Nebraska was a fast learner.

He kept walking and concentrated so hard on his thoughts that he didn’t notice he’d left Nebraska behind, which only left him room until he was almost at the entrance to his now home. Siran came out to greet them and showed her some papers that didn’t seem all that important from the look on both their faces.

Nebraska first looked at Siran and then at Hades’ broad, muscular back and remembered something she had seen a few days ago and was itching to try it. At that moment she had just emerged from an attempt to converse with Catalina when Siran walked past her with Sara on his back. It didn’t look the most decent position but she seemed to be enjoying it and he was comfortable.

She’d never had enough of a run-in with any man to do anything like that before but the idea of trying it out appealed to her. As soon as the level of conversation between alpha and beta dropped, she ran to Hades and jumped on his back even though her legs felt like they were in the air. Only when Hades put his hands under her thighs and propelled her upwards was she in the right position.

Siran looked at her with a raised eyebrow and had to admit that the look of surprise on the omega’s stoic face was even funny.

-Alpha, if you’ll excuse me, I’ll finish tending to these matters on my own, you may take some time alone,” the beta, ever the intuitive one.

Hades nodded and turned to the she-wolf behind him.

-Do you like it?

-The view is perfect – being so small and him so big, the angle of vision was significantly altered – can you walk with me behind? I saw it with Sara and Siran and it looks like fun.

The alpha smiled. He was finally acting his age and it told him that his soul wasn’t completely broken. Besides, after marking her they had grown significantly closer, for by feeling each other’s sensations, albeit of different intensity, they could understand each other even better. And she couldn’t deny that they were quite compatible.

What he liked most about Nebraska was both her availability and efficiency, she had helped him to resolve in the last couple of days, some issues where she had given a positive opinion. Her knowledge was not lacking and her reasoning was quite agile. She was quick and accurate. He could not deny that he had found the ideal queen.

As for intimacy, she had given her body a rest. While his toxins were already almost completely fused inside her body, he dared not touch her beyond simple kissing and rubbing. He wanted her to be at her best the next time he took her, for he knew he could not hold back like their first time together.

Hades walked into the mansion with her upstairs and barely noticed. Nebraska weighed absolutely nothing. Her arms were around his neck, caressing the curve of his collarbone with her fingernail as an involuntary but dangerous act.

He made his way to the dining room where the bustle could be heard from his position. Lunch was being served and as they entered they found that almost the entire pack was arriving as well as themselves. Although a certain quartet was already seated at the head table. He walked over and the youngsters eyes widened as they saw their mother standing over Hades as if she were a young wolf cub and instead of criticizing the eyes of the younger two lit up.

-Noa walked over to her brother and shook his arm.

-Not now, you have to eat lunch first.

-But Nico, it looks like fun,” Alan protested from his seat, “Alpha, we want to ride like this too.

-Listen to your brother, after lunch,” he smiled and sat down after putting his wife down, “Rodrigo can carry you as well.

The two boys’ smiles faded as they looked at their older brother.

-You don’t think so Rodrigo, he doesn’t have to do anything afterwards,” the alpha pressed.

The younger boy nodded his head slightly.

-It’s alright Rodrigo, you don’t have to do it,” Alan said, shaking his hands.

-I can,” he pursed his lips nervously, startling them.

-Then it’ll be the four of us,” concluded Nicolas with a sigh, knowing the alpha’s intentions and that he wouldn’t argue with him. He did not include his sister, knowing her punishment.

Nebraska admired her children and whispered thanks to her husband.

The meal was served and it was the only time everyone was moderately quiet. That afternoon a shipment of a smooth wine had arrived courtesy of a herd, which was passed around, and Hades took a large glass. He wouldn’t let Nebraska taste a drop, pleading for his health, lying in the process.

Rodrigo looked at his glass a little hesitantly and took a sip, pushing it away after the overly sweet and spicy taste he didn’t like.

-Ah Rodrigo,” exclaimed his younger brother, “That was the alpha’s glass.

Indeed, Hades had left his glass out of place and the wolf had taken it without noticing. Rodrigo looked at the alpha cautiously.

-No problem, you can keep it if you want,” he smiled at him as he chewed a piece of meat.

He didn’t keep drinking but he liked the idea of not being scolded every time he did something wrong. Eating with the family didn’t feel so bad.

Lunch was over when there was barely any food on the plates.

-Nebraska, I’ll be back with Siran to finish the papers, you can go rest if you want, I won’t be long,” but as soon as Hades stood up his body began to sway.

Nebraska could only watch as the alpha of her pack, who was perfectly fine before, fell to the ground unconscious with a trickle of b***d coming out of his mouth. And shortly after him Rodrigo slid out of his chair in the same situation.

A silence pervaded the dining room and heavy seconds passed before everyone reacted.
