Nebraska’s teeth closed around the flesh and hot liquid filled his muzzle. A piercing howl invaded the expanse of the area so that everyone froze with their tails between their legs and ears down.

Liam jerked trying to shake off the smaller wolf above and turned his head, grabbing it by the paw, burying his fangs in the thin skin, shattering the thin bones and tossing it aside. Nebraska landed a few feet away from him and sat up, spitting out in disgust at a piece of meat he had taken with him. The leg that had been bitten off rebuilt itself with incredible speed. Layan’s b***d had given it the ability to regenerate and the strength in his body accelerated this process.

The wound that had been left in Liam’s neck did not close as the ones caused by Hades or Layan had done. B***d spilled onto the ground in large quantities. The wolf growled loudly in indignation.

-Damn you, and your worthless daughter,” he shook his head in exasperation, “Get her out of my mind,” he felt something slowly seeping out.

Nebraska could hear laughter spreading to her.

-Come on wolf, don’t be so soft, give me more fight. You’re so boring,” her laughter this time turned weird, “Entertain me.

The omega swallowed dryly. This was his daughter, but she was something different than he had imagined. She knew that the b***d she had consumed had caused her daughter’s consciousness to form even if her body was barely a pimple inside her body. He used the bridge he had created to move towards his greatest enemy.

The hair on the omega’s back stood on end. It still wasn’t enough. Its eyes were bloodshot. The scent of her husband’s crimson liquid wafted to her muzzle. She couldn’t remember the last time she had been so upset, and the sight of the dark wolf’s body made her rage rise to uncontrollable levels. Snarling, she bent the front of her body and gathering momentum she quickly lunged again. Liam moved and faced her. Only a metre in front of him she leapt to the side and dodged the mouthful of teeth coming at her and leapt to the right. She propelled herself with her hind legs and opening her mouth she charged at the throat again.

Liam moved just as fast and dodged it. It was getting harder and harder to attack him. Despite his strength, size was a liability. Nebraska turned to resume her attack when something landed on her and bit the back of her neck. She jerked hard and managed to break free to see a small wolf from the iron pack.

She felt Liam’s laughter in her mind this time.

-Your daughter may be strong but she can’t do anything when I control only a small number, my influence is far greater,” she said.

Nebraska looked for her daughter but could not make contact with her. She could feel the enemy pack around her beginning to slow down their attack, so they were still doing their thing in there somewhere. Liam no longer had control over them but instead had concentrated on one thing. On destroying her. He’d realized that if he couldn’t have her for himself, then she would be no one’s.

Nebraska ran backwards as she was attacked again this time by two larger wolves. Soon she was surrounded by six. Liam just watched a few feet away as the scene unfolded. He no longer cared if he got Hades’ pack. He had defeated him, as well as Layan. All that remained was to subjugate the she-wolf that was breaking his every plan and they would all bow before him, without protest.

The omega did not back down. It was much harder to fight them all than it was to fight Liam. The reason, he knew how strong their bites were and that he could kill them too easily and he didn’t want that. He couldn’t access their minds either. Being so closed the other omega’s circle of concentration was like an impenetrable wall. She growled, but this only incited those around her and one of them jumped onto her back.

Nebraska turned to face him when a shadow passed over her head and slammed into the attacker, taking him with it. She was soon able to identify Siran. Another one charged at her but was attacked by Saisen. Following them came the rest of the wolves in charge of her guard allowing her to open the way. Once Nebraska was sure that her own could handle the attackers she turned her attention to her target.

The wolf began to advance towards her, lowering its head menacingly. His eyes had lost their irises and his snout was bubbling. It was beyond annoying. Nebraska faced him and ran at him leaping up and crashing their bodies together. They both fell to the ground in a biting brawl where the sound of bones crushing, skin breaking and b***d spurting was all that could be heard. Even Saisen had to stop to look at the horrifying sight of him almost being bitten by the wolf beneath him who would not give up.

He wanted to go help her but she had strictly told them not to intervene. A bite from Liam could be lethal and as those beasts fought he would only be a hindrance. Siran had tamed the small puppy, leaving it unconscious and not too badly injured between his paws, and he wasn’t missing the scene either. He didn’t know where one wolf began and another began. His heart was pounding, not knowing what the outcome would be. Plus the worry for his alpha was driving him crazy.

Liam and Nebraska separated. The she-wolf’s body regenerating causing him pain. Her condition was deplorable not unlike Liam. They had done their best in the confrontation and their coats were covered in b***d and dirt. Still the wolf with its huge size and full of wounds stood up to attack her again not caring that half of its body was full of wounds.

Suddenly a dark wolf landed on Liam’s back and bit deep into his back. Although it didn’t do much damage and the wound closed, but at least it managed to knock him to the side. The wolf jumped up and landed next to Nebraska and licked him behind the ear. The omega’s heart beat with relief and she whimpered accordingly. Hades, her husband was relatively well, was alive.

Nebraska quickly searched through his fur with her nose for wounds to replace them healing. That meant only one thing. On the other side of Liam, Layan walked towards them. He looked tired but willing to fight on. The omega staggered slightly in relief but recovered instantly. He found a wound that was still open on Hades’ lower neck and licked it as he kept track of his foe who was already back on his feet.

Once she noticed that the wound was beginning to close more quickly she took a step forward but Hades grabbed her hair at her side with his mouth pulling her back.

-I won’t let you fight alone.

-And I won’t risk losing you,” he said, “I won’t let myself see you again thinking you’re dead.

Hades said nothing for a few seconds and leaned down, licking the side of her face.

-You will not lose me, but let me fight by your side,” he said.

-They could hear Layan intrude on their conversation.

Nebraska turned her head to the front and nodded.

-Then cover me, let’s not drag this out any longer.

And the three of them ran to Liam.
