Micah looked at her gently and said, "The doctor said it's a matter of both our health, not just yours. And besides, we can still have a child. Why push me away now?"

He understood that Freya was not usually this emotional. It was just the overwhelming sadness clouding her judgment and causing her to act impulsively. But he was patient and ready to stay by her side, supporting her as she regained her strength. "We'll have a child, Freya. I know it. Trust me. My gut is rarely wrong," he reassured her over and over, his tone unwavering.

Freya still had her doubts. "But what if... what if we can't?"

"Then we can't, and that's fine too," Micah replied, his voice steady. "Nina already has her hands full with her two kids, and they're family. They'll be ours to spoil too. And when we're older, we can just travel together, seeing the world with nothing to hold us back." He loved kids, but he also saw joy in the idea of a life spent just the two of them, making their own adventures.

With his reassurance, Freya gradually began to let go of her fears. She stayed in the hospital to recover, and Micah threw himself back into work. Caught up in it all, he even forgot to call Nina.

As soon as they entered, Pharaoh immediately noticed Gemma in Nash's arms. Nash held her with the kind of practiced ease that showed he had done it many times before, clearly very comfortable. Pharaoh felt reassured entrusting Nina to Nash's care.

Meanwhile, on Nina's end, it was a rare light workday for Nash, so the whole family decided to visit Pharaoh.

"You're all here together? Suddenly this room feels packed," he joked. When it was just him alone in here, it had felt spacious and empty.

"Well, let's move you to a VIP room then," Nina suggested with a purpose. "That way, when we come to visit, the kids will have more space to play."

She had her own reasons for suggesting it. The VIP rooms were a significant upgrade from the standard ones, with not only a larger space but also better amenities.

Pharaoh shook his head. "No need to make a fuss. I'll be discharged in a couple of days anyway, so it wouldn't be worth the trouble."

"You're planning to be discharged?"

A pang of worry hit Nina. She could tell he was serious about it, meaning he might be planning to skip treatment altogether, keeping. everyone in the dark until he no longer could.

But directly persuading him likely wouldn't work. She would have to try another angle.

"Home is always better for recovery," she said, thinking quickly. "Though, it's funny. Gemma replaces your hospital room so fascinating. Her eyes go wide every time she's here."

Right on cue, Gemma looked around with wide-eyed curiosity, showing interest in her surroundings, which softened Pharaoh's stance almost immediately.

"Alright, maybe there's no need to

rush. I'll ask the doctor if there's a

VIP room available. That way, Orion can come over and spread out his toys on the floor when he visits."
