Claimed By My Three Alphas -
Chapter 11
I woke up at the sound of the loud slam of a door, which seems to be the door to the dungeon. I had no faintest idea if someone came in or went out. I adjusted my eyes to the dimly lit room I was. It was then I realized I wasn't in the dungeon, I was in a cell.
I made an attempt to move my limbs but something held it back.
I looked down at my body and my eyes bulged in shock - I was chained. My two arms were chained to the wall, my legs were chained to the ground.
I looked around in panic as I realized my totally helpless situation. The iron dug into my skin, cold metals sending shivers down my spine.
It hurt so much that I felt nothing more. I was numb. I couldn't cry, I just let out a dry laugh.
Why keep me alive to suffer when you can just end my life?
I tried to move my arms and legs again, maybe the chains weren't locked but it didn't bulge. I dropped my hands in surrender, I was at the mercy of these monsters.
"Well, well, well." I heard someone clap, the sound echoing through the dark walls of the cell. "Lets see who's awake."
The owner of the voice finally came into light. Levi, his sinister grin plastered on his face. My fear multiplied, but I tried to remain cool.
Hearing the sound of his voice, it brought back the memories that sent me into a state of unconsciousness.
"What do you want?" I asked boldly, summoning all the courage I could and letting the fear lay low.
"Nothing much" He chuckled."Just came to see how my little mate is doing."
His tone dropped as he ran his filthy fingers on my bare chest. His eyes roamed over my body. I tried shifting away from his touch but he dug his fingers into my bare shoulders. "Don't you dare." He flashed me a daring look, which I returned with a bold stare.
"You are sick." I spat at him, the tears threatening to fall as his hands kept trailing over my skin.
He laughed at my outburst, and the anger welled inside me. I tried to push against the chains but they held me firm.
"You sure have a bad mouth." He commented. "But I can't help but feel sorry for you. You have a few days to spend on the face of mother earth. And then, you go into deep oblivion." Confusion draped my brain, as I tried to decipher what he meant.
Does he mean...
"My father has ordered that you be starved and punished." He replied, feigning a caring look. "And then, you would be executed by the next full moon." "What?" My face contoured in deep horror.
My eyes followed the dangerous man, he was a calm devil. He feasted on the suffering of others, the thought caused shivers running through me.
My blood ran cold. I couldn't help but wonder how he would t*****e me this time.
"Why are you doing this?" I asked through pleas, tears streaming down my face. "Why are you all so cruel?"
He shrugged, a steel smile on his lips.
"We are not the problem, Amery; you are. You are an abomination. And you deserve all this."
He chuckled darkly, walking towrds me again, tightening his hands around my waist causing me to scream in pain.
"Why....why are you doing this. Please, stop!" I sobbed, trying to push away but failing miserably.
"Because you need some fixing, you are a broken pet who needs some good spanking."
He pulled away from me, walking past me. Despite the pain eating at my neck, what I saw made my heart sink. From the corner of my eyes, I saw him grab a whip "Levi? No. You don't have to do this. Levi, please "I cried in sheer horror of what would happen next.
The whip was made of thick leather and multiple strands braided them together. Each strand was about an inch wide and tapered off to a thin point at the end.
It was about four feet long with a wooden handle that was carved with intricate designs. The leather was smooth and polished, indicating that it has been used frequently. "Any other thing you would like to say before we begin this little exorcism?" He bent over my shoulder, whispering seductively.
"No.. Levi.."
I swallowed my plea as he began to whip me. Over and over again, the leather lash struck my bare skin, each more painful than the last.
I screamed and begged him to stop but he ignored me. The tears flowed freely now as I felt the stinging pain coursing through my body. "Please, stop!" I screamed, my voice hoarse from the constant crying and screaming.
"You are an abomination," He spat out, his voice filled with disgust. "Your parents committed a great sin and you are paying for it."
His words cut through me like a knife.
Was it my fault that my parents had done something wrong? Was it my fault I was born to parents who committed a grave offense in their pack?
I couldn't take it anymore, the pain was unbearable, and my body was weak from constant whipping.
He finally loosened the chains and I fell with a thud, sobbing uncontrollably.
Levi stood above me, looking down at me with an expression I couldn't quite read. Was it remorse, or was it something else?
"You're lucky, I didn't kill you." He said coldly. "But don't think I'm done with you yet. You would pay for your parents' sin with every bone in your wretched body. You would pay dearly for walking into our lives."
Another whip landed on my back and I cried out in despair, praying this all ends soon.
He raised his hands to strike me again. I shut my eyes tight, waiting for the stinging pain the whip brought but suddenly, the door to the cell snapped open as a new presence entered the room.
It was Asher, his mouth agape in surprise as he walked towards us.
In the blink of an eye, he pushed Levi off with all his might. Quincy rushed to my side, his hands stroking my hair as I sobbed into his chest.
"What the hell is wrong with you? Why would you do something like this to her? Why are you so inhumane like father? Yeah, she is defenseless, but the f**k! Must you take advantage of her?" Asher ranted out, his voice laced in dark anger. Levi chuckled in response, clearly not taking his mini speech for anything serious. "Oh, come on, Asher, you know how much I love a good hunt. She begged for it and I gave it to her."
"Can you for a minute stop this f*****g game? You could have killed her." Quincy's voice came out collected but was laced with deep emotions I didnt quite understand.
"But she doesn't matter. She is a half-baked werewolf, she is of no importance anyway."
Asher clenched his fists at his brother's words. "She does matter. She is our mate. She is a living creature just like us. And you are going to pay dearly for for doing this to 'our' mate." Levi laughed sarcastically this time. "Oh, boy. I am scared, what would you do? Punish me?"
Asher stepped closer to Levi, his eyes glaring daggers at his brother.
"Don't test me, Levi, I'll do anything to protect her, even if it means going against father." He paused, "I would do it."
"Quincy, get her out of here now." Asher ordered.
"Here, let me help you?" He said, he reached for my arms steadying me as I slowly stood up.
With a gentle tug, he helped me up.
I stretched my arms and shoulders, trying to get the blood flowing again.
"Are you okay?" Quincy asked, looking over at me with curiosity and a bit of concern.
I nodded, not getting myself to say anything yet. My voice was scratchy and felt unbearable to say much.
As Quincy led me out of the cell room, I held myself tighter, trying to keep warm. The chill of the cell had settled in my bones for hours and I shivered with every step we took.
As we made our way to the exit, the sound of footsteps echoed through the dungeon. I felt Quincy tense beside me, and I could feel his grip on my hand tighten.
I turned to look back when I saw the Alpha King coming into the cell.
My heart sank at the sight of him as I instinctively tried to pull away from Quincy, in aim of hiding behind him.
But Quincy held me tight, refusing to let go. The Alpha King stopped right before us, his eyes void of warmth. He looked at me with a sneer and I felt a shiver run down my spine. Two guards appeared by his side, but Quincy stood his ground. Not long enough, Asher rushed to my side.
"What do you think you're doing, son?" He growled at them.
"Rescuing her." Quincy said, daring to confront his father.
"You can't. She is still a danger to our kind and as the Alpha, it is my future to protect our people and if it means sacrificing her life to save all, then so be it."
"You'd sacrifice an innocent girl just to soothe your conscience. Don't think you can fool me with your righteous act." Quincy spoke with knowing eyes. "She doesn't deserve all of this."
The Alpha King sighed, his expression softening a bit. "I quite understand that it might be painful to lose your mate but sometimes, we must make difficult decisions for the greater good." His normal cold look returned back as he glared at his two sons who held my hands tight. "If you dare leave this cell with her, I will kill her this instant."
I sighed deeply, accepting my fate. It was clear that he meant every word he said, and his eyes flashed with a cold and calculating fury.
The air around us felt heavy and tense while my heart pounded in expectation of whatever sentence he would give.
Asher and Quincy looked terrified like I was, and I could see the conflict in their eyes as they struggled to decide what to do.
I wanted to reach out to them, to take me away from this terrible place, but I knew it was futile. The Alpha King held the power and he could do anything he pleases.
The tears welled up again, as I listened to their arguments. I couldn't bring myself to believe I was just a pawn to settle a conflict that happened when I wasn't born. Annoying part of the whole thing is Levi grinning deviously in the corner.
"We'll come back for you Amery." Quincy says, his voice low and tight with emotion.
"Yes, we promise." Asher added, his eyes flickering with a barely-contained rage.
I can see how badly they want to take me out of here and protect me from the gnawing hands of their father and Levi.
But they knew they couldn't go against their father's order. As they turned to leave, my fear gave way to desperation.
"No, please." I pleaded, reaching out for them. "Don't leave me here with him." I said, gesturing towards Levi, who grinned smugly at me.
Asher and Quincy looked back at me with pained expressions.
"We don't have a choice, Amery." Asher shook his head in deep regret. "We'll be back for you, we promise."
I watched in despair as they walked away, leaving me behind with Levi. I wanted to scream and beg them to take me with them but I knew it was useless.
The Alpha king had made it clear that they couldn't leave with me and I was stuck here with Levi.
The Alpha King followed his two sons out of the cell, and the panic rose in my chest.
I slowly turned to Levi, who stared at me with a wicked grin, probably enjoying my distress. I tried to back away from him, but he was just too fast. "Don't worry, Amery, I'll take care of you." He drawled. "I won't hurt you too much."
I felt a lump stuck in my throat as he pulled away, still smirking. I knew I was in for a long and terrifying night.
Levi walked out of the cell. I prayed silently that Asher and Quincy would come back for me and that they would rescue me from this nightmare.
