"This place is beautiful." I breathed out as the scent of the evening flowers and cool breeze caressed my nostrils. Levi trailed behind me while I let myself get lost in the moment. We were both taking a walk around the forest, a bit farther from the party. I had followed him willingly and he had showed me some really cool places that he was extremely fond of.

I was happy that Levi was sharing this moment with me. Never in my wildest dreams did I think that we would be this close without him wanting to kill me or worse.

"It really is." He chirped in. "I remember playing over here with the boys while growing up. Happy times." His eyes were sad and his voice had traces of hurt registered in them. Should I be worried?

"Were you really close to you brothers while growing up? Your personality doesn't strike me as someone who is interested in a relationship of any kind"

He chuckled. A deep chuckle that resonates with his personality. I am left staring at him and how happy he was at that moment. Levi doesn't strike me as someone who could smile, let alone laugh but he was doing more than that tonight. Proving all the theories I had about him wrong.

"Did I say something funny?" I arched a brow at him.

"It's not what you said but how you said it. You must really consider me a monster don't you?" He inquired, his eyes fixed on the grassy path as we walked.

"You can't blame me though." I beamed "it's not like you had any sort of goodness In you in all the weeks we've known each other. Have you forgotten that you had tried to kill me in more ways than one?" I faced him swiftly. "And for the record, I don't consider you a monster. You are worse than that. You are the devil's incarnate. At least that's what I thought until now."

"So what changed?" He stopped walking forcing me to halt in my steps too.

"You said it yourself. You reflected on how badly your actions were and decided to change. I'm glad you did though. You made the right choice and I'm very proud of you."

He smirked. It was only for a brief moment but I saw it and I wondered if maybe it meant something.

"So what about you?" He asked.

"What about me what?" I countered, my feet kicking the little pebbles on the floor as we walked. These heels were killing me and for the love of god, I had no idea why I haven't taken them off until now.

"What about you? What would you do when you finally get back home from here?"

I hummed internally, my eyes focused on the dark path ahead of us. "Honestly, I haven't thought about anything until now. Although, I want to see my parents and have a talk with them. I want to know why they hid the fact that I wasn't a mere human." "Aren't you upset that they hid something as crucial as that from you?" He watched me keenly.

"I am upset. Very upset but I still want to give them the benefit of a doubt. I want them to explain it to me themselves. In as much as I want to curse and yell and lash out at them, I still think they have their reasons and it's not very nice to get upset without knowing the full details."

"Why are you looking at me like that?" I asked when I caught him staring.

"I just...I just don't understand the type of person you are Amery. Are you always like this?" He questioned and I shrugged.

"Always like what?"

"Always like seeing the good in people and wanting them to be better?"

"We'll make less trouble in the world If we share a little kindness don't you think? Just like my kindness rubbed off on you." I said with a hauty smile. "Tell me that you don't feel good about yourself? I helped in your transition."

He scoffed. "You make it sound like you did something quite important when in real sense, you were more than a nuisance to me." He crunched my nose playfully and I jerked. My legs came in contact with a stone and I almost tripped but Levi caught me just in time.

We share eye contact briefly and I found myself getting attracted to him. I took my time to admire him up close. He looked so breathtaking and his grey eyes compelled me to keep staring.

"You don't look where you walk, do you?" He asked and pulled me up. I winced when I felt a little sting on my ankle. "What's wrong?" Levi asked, concerned.

"I think I twisted I ankle. It hurts." I cried out in pain. Levi helped me to a nearby fallen branch and made me sit on it.

He crouched down in front of me and carefully took off my shoes. I watched him do it. There was something incredibly sexy about a man who was hunched down in front of you and doing everything he can to alleviate your pain. I stared at his hair that had been pushed to the front due to his position and I couldn't help the smile that formed on my lips.

"Your feet is bruised. It'll take a while for it to get healed." He blurted out but I was lost in my own world. A world where there was only me and Levi.

My hands slowly found its way to his hair and I ran my fingers through his thick mass. I felt him freeze under my touch. He looked up and his eyes met mine but I didn't give a damn.

"You're staring." He pointed out.

"You have beautiful eyes." I blurted out instead.

"It's wrong to stare and besides my eyes aren't pretty. They're lethal and dangerous."

My hands left his hair and trailed the seamline of his jaw. He drew in a sharp breath. I could feel the heat slowly building up inside me. The butterflies in my stomach erupted and burst into a sweet ache. I touched his lips, all the while, Levi never tried to stop me. But when my hands made an attempt to go down, he grabbed them and pulled me up so that our faces were only inches apart.

"Do it." I challenged him. My whole body practically heating up from being so close to him.

Fisting my hair around his hands, he crashed his lips on mine. I moaned into his mouth when I felt the sudden rush of adrenaline pump through my veins. My blood boiled and my head reeled in excitement.

I had promised myself not to be a fool and give into his demands but Levi was incredibly hard to resist. He kissed my mouth full, nibbling on my lower lip as I fondled with his clothes.

He dipped his head and took my lips into his mouth making sure to bite and lick and s**k every inch of my plump lips.

"f**k!" He exclaimed when he pulled apart "You taste like honey Amery."

Gripping my hair, he smashed his lips on mine again, drinking from my lips over and over till I was already drunk and giddy from the kisses. I felt like i would explode anytime soon.

"Levi..." My voice came out hoarse and breathy when he reached for my straps and pulled it down my shoulders. I had no time to feel self conscious when he circled my swollen bud with his tongue and drew hard tugs like a child suckling from his mother's b****t. "Goodness!" I moaned throatily. I struggled between pushing him away and pulling him closer to me. I wanted him to stop but then again, I wanted him to continue whatever he was doing to me. My hands fell to the side and he slowly released me. He fell to the ground beside me and held onto that part of his body where his heart was located and lets out and ear splitting scream.

His voice switched from howling to shouting to screeching out in pain. My knees gave way and I fell to the ground. My hands clutching the knife that was now coated in blood-My blood.

He had tricked me again and I fell for it. I fell for him. He had just tried to kill me again for the third time and yet again, I had fallen for it.

"W-Why?" I croaked in shortness of breath. Tears streaming down my cheeks like twin rivers. He had promised to take good care of me. He had promised to never hurt me but here we are again, back to the same spot where we left things.

"Amery-" He tried to reach out to me while I struggled between life and death. Not knowing what to do. I could feel my life force slowly fading away and that's when I realized just I stupid I was to have trusted him for the second time. Each time I whimpered, he writhed in pain. Lying to my sides, my eyes fluttered close as I felt the darkness enveloping me. Before I could tell what was happening, I had already slipped into the oblivion.
