"How have you three been holding up here?" Damien inquired when he came visiting. It had been two and a half weeks since they last saw him and when they were asked about his whereabouts, they were informed that he was busy with other business and wouldn't be able to attend to them for the time-being.

"The human world is a very delicate place and not exactly what you all might be used to back at home and that's why I'm worried." Damien conveyed his emotions to the triplets seated in front of him. He had been out of touch for a while and because of his absence, he hasn't been able to catch up with them.

"It's different from what we're used to and definitely hard but we're scaling through." Came Asher's remark. They were seated on the couch in the living room while they conversed with each other.

"You'll definitely get used to it as the day rolls by. This world might be different from ours in a whole lot of ways but, most things here aren't so bad. With time, you might replace a whole lot of things similar in different aspects." He smiled at them with his hands politely rested on his thighs as he faced them. "The principal tells me that you're fitting in and adjusting nicely. I'm glad to hear that you're not causing any mischief over here."

Levi glared at him. His chest rising and falling as he sprang up from the chair and made his way into the kitchen. This conversation was uncalled for and if he had a way of convincing his brothers, then they would be out of here in no time. He was sick of everything and the fact that Amery kept on ignoring him also added to the anger coursing through his veins.

"Forgive my brother. He tends to act insulting sometimes." Asher apologized on Levi's behalf while Quincy looked overly bored from the conversation. He would give anything to not get involved in what they were saying but he had no choice. He needed to understand a few things if he was going to make it through his stay here.

"You don't have to apologize my prince. Your brother has every right to do what he wants to do. Despite the fact that I'm your guardian over here, he is also the prince and my ruler."

"Tsk! Tsk!! Tsk!!!" Quincy clicked his tongue with a snicker and ran his hands through his thick mass to dishevel it. "Buttering Levi doesn't work. He would have offered you to his wolves if we were still in our realm. You're lucky." Damien swallowed hard. His fears suddenly visible.

"Ignore my brother. He's only trying to get you scared and worked up." Asher uttered in a bid to settle the poor man while Quincy grinned in mischief. He had always had fun playing these games with people and messing them up.

"Okay. About the thing you said that you were looking for, have you made any progress?" Damien inquired while Asher and Quincy shared a brief look between themselves.

They had told him that they came looking for something but they didn't specify exactly what they were looking for. It was meant to be a secret to them alone without any third party replaceing out about it and that was why Damien had insisted that they went to school, so that they would be able to blend and fit in while they carried out their mission.

"So far, it's coming together piece by piece and we're looking for the best way to salvage the situation at hand. I'm glad that you came today Damien."

He breathed out. "Thank you my prince. I will take my leave now but if there's anything I can do to help out in the future then don't hesitate to let me know and also, the cleaning lady would be commencing her job this weekend." He informed them. "Actually." Quincy chimed in "There is something that you can do for me. I need a cellphone and a bike. Think you can handle that?"

"Of course. I'll make sure to get them delivered to you as soon as possible." He bowed his head curtly.

"I like this guy." Quincy patted his shoulders before exiting the living room, leaving them both together.

"Carry on Damien. We will talk later." Asher ordered him and he bowed his head and steadily exited the mansion.

Asher breathed out heavily the minute he was left alone with his own thoughts. None of the things happening right now is his problem. The only problem he had right now was getting through to Amery who wanted absolutely nothing to do with him. With the prophecy at hand, he could only do so much. What if she shuts him completely or doesn't speak to him at all. He had tried all that he could and had also apologized to her countless times but she still didn't give a f**k about him.

He couldn't describe his happiness when he had found her but that happiness was short lived because she kept on pretending as though he didn't exist.

"A penny for your thoughts?" Quincy disrupted his chain of thoughts when he walked into the living room munching on the thigh of a grilled chicken.

Asher eyed him curiously. He still couldn't understand his obsession with meat ever since they got here.

"I heard they contain nutrients for healthy bones and besides, I was craving them." He shrugged without a care in the world.

Asher rolled his eyes when he saw Levi walk in.

"Are you still thinking about Amery?" Quincy inquired and took a hard drag on the meat in his hands.

"I met her but she didn't want to talk to me despite everything I did to make her listen at least."

"She acted like I didn't exist. At least you're making progress. You should be excited." He seethed and Levi took a seat in his previous position.

"I don't know what to do or how to talk to her. The more I try, the more impossible it becomes." He complained bitterly.

Levi snickered in amusement, drawing the attention of the other two who didn't replace it pleasant, especially Asher who found it insulting.

"You left your home and your people because of a human girl and now she wants absolutely nothing to do with you. Interesting isn't it?" He mocked with a grimace.

"When would you people realize that we are the Alpha princes? Why do we have to lay down the rest of our lives for a peony human who is nothing to us? Why do we have to care about her? Think of everything that we would accomplish If we stopped this madness and head back home. I cannot begin to imagine what father must be going through without any of us back home." He tried to slap some sense into his brothers who remained unmoved.

"Father can handle himself. This matter is about us and our future."

Levi angrily threw the vase by the side and it came crashing down into a million pieces.

"I say we go back home. I'm the eldest and it's my call so you both have to listen to me." He pointed from Asher to Quincy.

"You lost that right when you went behind our backs to take matters into your damn f*****g hands Levi." Asher snapped while Quincy quietly watched the exchange. He was tired of their bickering but then again, a little fight between two hot headed brothers wouldn't hurt anyone.

"I did it because the two of you were too invested to see the truth right in front of you."

"The truth about what? That you're a jerk who loves to show his supremacy by all means possible?"

Levi grabbed Levi by the collar and drew him closer to himself forcefully.

"You're nothing but a self absorbed bastard Levi. You put all of us in this mess. We wouldn't have come here and neither would we have left father if you had just let things go smoothly the way it was supposed to but no, you just had to kill her and now she doesn't want to have anything to do with us." Asher spat angrily, the veins on his neck and forehead visible as he stared at his brother, daring him to react or deny his claims.

"You don't even feel sorry for what you had done Levi. You still think that you're not wrong and that you're not at fault."

"That's because I'm not. I'm not like the two of you who are weak and useless. I think with my brain and not my heart."

Asher pulled his shirt out of his grasp. "Lucky you. Why don't you tell that heart of yours to replace your missing wolf? Oh sorry, it can't"

"You know what? Enough talking. I'd be more than happy to go claim and mark Amery for the second time and I promise that this time, you both won't see it coming."

Asher frowned at that statement but didn't utter a single word.

"Why don't we see who Amery would fall for again. I'd be more than happy to have you lose to me Asher and then I'd rub it on your face like the loser you are. You know that I did it before and I'd be more than happy to do it again." He snarled at Asher threateningly before walking away as he made his way to the own room.
