My breath hitched and caught up in my throat when he whispered those words to me. I found it pleasing to the ears and it sounded sexually arousing and soothing at the same time. I feel like every time I try to know a piece of Levi, he changes to another personality entirely different from the one that I was used to. He sheds his skin repeatedly and changes his colors like a chameleon leaving me confused as to what I'm supposed to expect next from him.

"It doesn't scare you does it?" He repeated with a small smile. His eyes weren't expressive and the more I stared into them, the more I became lost.

"You have always scared me Levi. Right from the very first day I met you." I confessed. "And even right now, I'm still scared of you. You're not the type to express your emotions in such manner and when you do, it always meant that you are up to something so I can't even trust you even if I wanted to. You've hurt me countless times remember?"

"You don't really mean that do you?" He asked and with each word he uttered, I found it difficult to maintain a straight face. "I'm really trying to be a good person and that's why I tried to apologize to you today but Asher blew it all out of proportion."

"You wouldn't blame him though. All of us has seen you for exactly who you are. You can't blame him if he tries to protect me from you." I said in Asher's defense. Just the thought of it has my heart aching again. I really hope that he's safe and okay wherever he is and I also hope that Quincy replaces him as well.

He moved his hands a little bit higher up my thighs and my heart beat accelerated. I gripped the side of the chair tightly so that I wouldn't fall off.

"What happened there wasn't because I hated you Amery. I just figured that he was your boyfriend and that you would be able to sort it out yourselves."

"And the incident in the ladies room, was that also an accident?" I asked "You pushed me to the ground and threatened to kill me. I even got injured because of it." I showed him my wrists.

"My wolf was unsettled at that time when I approached you." He said after a few minutes of silence. "That was the very first time I felt my wolf again after that incident at the woods. It was overwhelming and I couldn't control my actions because of it and I took it out on you. I'm sorry Amery." His words sounded so sincere but can I trust them?

They also sounded sincere back then but he used it against me. I was a suck up for trying to see the good In everyone so what if this was another prank of his to get me to trust him.

"I would never hurt you intentionally Amery. I might've done a whole lot of awful things to you in the past but I regret each and every one of them so please, forgive me?"

"I don't know Levi. I'm not sure that I can."

He stood up in a sitting position and lifted the fluffy couch with both pair of hands, pulling me closer to himself till I was staring at him closely.

He delved his hands deeper and inched his face closer to my ear lobe. He nibbled on it and I shivered rhythmically. "What does your heart tell you?"

He flipped my hair backwards and ran his tongue on my neck. He sucked on that spot that seemed to ignite my feelings and heightened my nerves to the point of no return.

When he stopped, he brought his face back to mine. "Will you forgive me Amery? I promise to be better." He placed his head on my chest and reached to the panties. I almost came on myself when he touched me there through the thin layer of fabric that separated his hands from my womanhood.

"Say that you'll forgive me Amery and I will let you go." He whispered and ruffled his head on my chest.

"I f-forgive-" Before I could utter those words, he slipped fingers into my skirt and placed a finger at my entrance. My knees buckled and I felt myself close to the edge.

"Oh s**t!" I threw my head back as mixed emotions sizzled through me, all at once.

Pulling my head down towards him, he took my mouth in a feverent kiss. I moaned into his mouth and it only encouraged him to push further, delving deeper.

When we pulled apart, i was left gasping for air.

"Let's not do t-this anymore" I stuttered, unable to move away from him no matter how hard I tried to.

"Do you want me to stop?" He asked, teasing me completely. I felt the liquid pool down my legs as my womanhood clenched and unclenched at the invasion. He groaned deeply.

"I don't know" I replied, my eyes still closed as i arched herself closer to him.

Just when i thought that I'd had enough, he shifted my panties to the side and inserted two fingers deep inside into my slithering wet hole.

Feeling regretful, I rose to my feet and straightened my skirt. I made to work out of his presence but he held me back.

"Where are you going?"

I couldn't bring my eyes to look at his and so I stared face down. "I'm going to sleep in the living room." I answered casually as though his hands hasn't been buried very deeply inside me just some minutes ago.

"You can sleep here. I don't have a problem with that" He offered. How was it that he was able to maintain a straight face after everything that had just happened between us. I was struggling to hide away from him but he looks so calm and coordinated.

"You might not have a problem with it but I do. I won't be able to sleep here after what..." I pose when I realized what I was about to say.

"After what?" He corked his head to the side. "Are you scared that something other than that might happen between us if we spent the night together? You don't trust yourself around me do you?"

I don't know why he found it funny but I didn't. This was exactly what Asher had warned me about but I wouldn't listen. Levi was dangerous and he would never stop until he had taken me down with him as well.

"Yes Levi." I conceded. "I don't trust myself with you because the last time I attempted that, he almost killed me. So please don't blame me for not trusting you, it's just that my instincts never lie."

I walked out of his bedroom and made my way to the living room. There, I laid down on one of the couches and folded myself up to sleep. My mind wandered far and somehow I felt pity for Asher. My stupidity and attraction for Levi had cost us our friendship again. I don't know how long I laid there but the next thing I knew I had drifted off to sleep. Halfway through my slumber, I felt a warm blanket covering me up. I open my eyes to see Levi walking away and with blurry and dazed eyes, I whispered thank you into the night before drifting off to sleep for the second time.
