Claimed By The Rogue Alpha Chapter 34
Upbeat music emanated from the bungalow. Inside, noises of all forms competing for the centre stage. The sounds of people chattering, the guffaw of drunken men, the loud sound coming from the jukebox and the clinking of bottles. The men, all in their twenties chatted heartily. Some form of excitement going on. "We gon' paint the streets red. Blue, black whatever colour we can think of," One of the men a gingerhead, said. The others laughed as he said that. For every man in the room, his statement was funny. Well, with all his mannerisms, he could hands down make anyone laugh. Especially the sandy blond sitting across the room at the dining. He would have been guffawing, while throwing playful shades at his clown of a friend. But he was beyond distraught. Beside himself and appearing to have something eating him up. While the jester was still at it, one of the guys stood up. His face full of smiles. He was about to cross the room when his eyes landed on the moody guy at the dining.
He walked up to him. "Still thinking about her, Jimmy?"
He turned to look at companion. A glare gracing his face.
"It isn't here then. What's up, man? Roger worked a hell lot to win the lottery. He wouldn't be happy seeing you looking this way."
Jimmy sighed. "This isn't about Yvonne. The bitch." He mentioned the last part through gritted teeth.
"Yeah, I've realised that. What's the ish then?"
Jimmy looked at him for some time as if to say that he was thinking it through. Weighing the pros and coins of his revelation. But eventually, be decided to be forthcoming.

Some form of excitement going on. "Two days ago," he started. "I happened to meet a..."
He was interrupted by an increase in the pitch of the already existing noise. He alongside his company looked up and saw the host of the get together had emerged. Roger. He said something, making everyone hail him. Everyone resumed with the clinking of their bottles.
And so, the Jimmy decided to keep his mouth shut. He should perhaps just join in the fun. The interruption might have been a sign to zip it. ==Olivia==
Standing by the window, I looked outside. The weather as bleak as my future. There was no hope. Was this how I was going to spend the rest of my life? As a slave. Without a say? Was this how it was going to be forever? I had lost my willpower to live or even take my own life.
Matteo, the schmuck had deprived me of the right to end my life. Something that would have been a sure pass to ending this untold misery. He had kept all sharp objects away. He was a devil. In fact, the devil was more lenient that him.
I couldn't replace the words to describe Matteo's cruelty. He was just irredeemable.
I sighed again, watching the thick clouds, then from the corner of my eyes, I saw a black jeep get to the gate. I would have thought that to be the monster, but this was Sunday. And Matteo hardly left the premises on Sundays. And so, I stood in sheer curiosity. The driver got out. He walked to the backseat and opened the door A lady stepped out and my heart picked, mainly because of how she was looking. Across her eyes was a blindfold. And the dress she had on was flimsy. A flimsy silk dress. Two guards emerged and held her arms, directing her towards the main entrance.
What the f**k? Was she another slave? I couldn't help but wonder. But then, I remembered I saw a line of lipstick on her lips, plus she was wearing some nice sleek pumps. But it couldn't be far from the truth that she was Matteo's latest acquisition. Or was I wrong? Damn my curiosity. It always popped up when I didn't need it. When it fully knew that it wasn't the right time to emerge. I stepped out of the window, taking a deep breath. Who was that lady and what was she doing here? Why was she in a blind fold. My curiosity increased and I knew that I wouldn't rest until I had my questions answered. Who knows, I could actually save a soul. It was possible that she had been captured. Just like I had been. Yes, it was possible that he would take her to the dungeon. The atrium.
Yes! This could be my chance in escaping. I could form some sort of alliance with this person, and boom we would be on our way to freedom
My breathing increased. I placed my hand on my chest. "Okay, okay. Breathe. Slowly."
I didn't want to get too excited and mess this up. I had to be as discreet as possible. As sneaky as possible. I let out a sigh, a thin stream of breath squirting out in the process.
Okay, okay. I tucked a stand of my locs behind my ear and licked my lips. I was set. This was going to be mission reclaim my freedom.
Taking in one more breath of air, I walked to the door and pulled it open.
