Claimed By The Rogue Alpha Chapter 35

I made sure I looked sideways before leaving my room. I ensured I checked the ceilings in case of any cameras. I hadn't thought about CCTVs all this while, but now, now that I was plotting my escape, I had to be extra sure. When I was certain the coast was clear, I made it down the hallway in small steps. My heart pumping in anticipation. I reached a dead end, getting gripped immediately by a wave of déjà vu. I had been here before, but I couldn't place a name...
Instantly, it rang a bell. Yes, I'd been here the other time. The other time I got into what appeared to be a basement. Yes, that room where the f*****g a*****e asked me if I was a virgin. My jaw tightened as I thought about that. It only made my resolve stronger. I would get out of this place. And when I did, Matteo would regret ever laying his filthy hands on me.
And so, I made my way through the very many turns. It was a surprise how I remembered the path. It only bolstered my determination. The problem however was that as soon as I reached the last hallway, I had a brain fart. I got confused and couldn't tell which door it was that led to that room.
Shit.
But no, I wasn't going to give up just yet. If it meant going through every door here, I would sure as hell do that. I traced my gaze through the doors that colonnaded hallway.
Uhmmm. I would go with that one. The fourth door to the right. I took in some breaths and walked there. Slowly pushing the door open. It wasn't locked. Should I be alarmed? I couldn't say for sure.
Inside, a stair led downwards. Yes, I recognised this. Maybe this was the right door. And if it was, well, I could remember clearly that at the end of the room there was another door that led to a tiny space. Yes. Perhaps I could replace my way around it and get to the atrium. I descended the stairs, making sure I didn't make a single sound. I made it to the final step and instantly knew I got my guesses wrong. Because unlike the right door, this one had got a wall barring me. Literally a dead end. I groaned and realising myself, slammed my palm over my mouth. My voice echoed.
Quiet, Olivia. But what was I going to do now? I couldn't imagine climbing the stairs all the way up over again. My God, there had got to be at least forty steps that I had climbed. I was already breathless. However, I couldn't just give up easily. Something told me that the lady, whoever it was, was in dire need of help. Like, those blindfolds... There were more glaring than a red flag.
I turned around, rolling my eyes at my failure and began making it back to the entrance. I soon got there and I stopped, trying to conjure up images in my head. I was in a meditative mood. However, nothing seemed to click. I was sure the door that led to the room was located at the left side of the hallway. My problem now was the exact door. I couldn't imagine going through every one of the doors, but it was worth it.
I braced up and went for the door close to the one I had entered. It didn't seem to be the right one, but whatever. I shouldn't leave any stone unturned. Just like the first one, this door was unlocked, making me wonder anew why it was so. Also, it made me question if I'd been right by thinking that the atrium was located around here. Matteo wouldn't be that dumb as to leave them unlocked. I mean, this was a dungeon we were talking about. A place sacred to him.
Nonetheless, I still continued with my probing. I had to eliminate every option. That was what I was going to do. I went through the thirty something or so steps and thankfully came upon a door. Not a wall.
A door. Okay. I shouldn't get too excited. I shouldn't expect too much. Shutting my eyes, I pulled the door open. I hesitated, not wanting to open my eyes and be met with disappointment. With some moments passing, I let them open, and oh my, I didn't expect to see what I saw.
The room. I had gotten it right! This was the basement. I made a fist pumped, and then, proceeded to calm myself down. Okay.
I searched around and saw the door at the corner. The one that led to the crammed corridor. I walked there slowly, in gentle steps and opened the door.
I stepped inside and shut the door. Careful not to make any sound. Tiptoeing, I made it to the end of the room where there was a...
Crawl space? What the...? A crawl space? I wasn't expecting a crawl space. Shit. Did it mean I was wrong.
I ran my hand across my hair, licking my lower lip. Shit. A part of me wanted to quit. To get back to my bed and mind my business. But the other part. The angered part. The vengeful part. It wanted to explore the crawl space. And be damn sure if that was the way to the atrium or not. Also, who knows, I could possibly replace an escape route. Who knows.
I shoved my hand into the space, feeling that area to know if it was dusty or not. To my surprise it wasn't. Not even a speck, which either meant that Matteo was a cleanliness freak who kept every nook and cranny of the building spotless or this space was frequently used. Whichever one was the case, I didn't care.
I raised my leg to get in and I heard a tear. Gasping, I looked down to replace my gown ripped to about two inches at the side. The gown was already short to begin with, now this? A tear? I cussed.
Anyway, that wasn't going to come in my way of getting answers. Fully tucked in, I began crawling deep into the space. Darkness engulfed me. Good thing I wasn't 'fraid of the dark. Like everything else in this damn house, this space had got turns. They were so damn many that my head began spinning. Still, I forged on.
I had gone a long distance and my arms began to tremble. They were getting numb from all the crawling. Exhaustion had pinned me to the bud.
Exasperated, I gave out a loud sigh. And with the sigh followed a moan.
I stopped.
I stopped because the moan didn't come from me.

The sound came from a woman. I knew it was so because of the soft ring it had. I crawled stealthily, my throat dry from heightened curiosity. The sound became clearer. More distinct. And I very well knew the cause of it. "Owh. F**k. F**k!"
Then, came a masculine grunt. The grunt which sound insanely familiar. The moans were ear-piercing. I couldn't bear it. Still, my inquisitive a*s made me to continue with my search. I did, and almost immediately, I came upon a slit. A gated slit. I crawled there, trying my best to shut my ears to the moans.
I placed my face on the slit. Colour disappeared from my face.
"Damn. F**k! Shit."
"Shut up. Don't make any sound."
I tried blinking back the tears that formed in my eyes, but there was no getting around that. The tears escaped.
I had come upon the atrium, no doubt. I had been right after all. Right on the bad where I had been confined in was the lady I was sure had come in earlier. She was buck naked. I mean, with nothing at all on her. She laid sprawled on the bed with Matteo atop her. He too was naked. My heart squeezed. So much so that I coughed. Violently.
The noise I made did nothing to make them stir. They were too engrossed with whatever sin they were enjoying.
Matteo thrust into to her with that much strength I hadn't seen before. And she was chained. Her feet and arms were useless. I couldn't help but feel sorry for the lady. I was sure this wasn't a moan of pleasure. More of a distress call.
Matteo was having s*x with someone. Right under my nose. I didn't know why I was hurt. The tears kept falling like rain stormy day. "F**k!"
I shut my eyes and took a turn back to my room
