Claimed By The Rogue Alpha Chapter 87
Two days later...
==Olivia==
Suddenly, all I saw was a bright white light. It was so harsh I tried shutting my eyes, all to no avail.
It came pouring in, inflicting a pounding headache to me. I groaned, even as my body began to tremble. And then everything ceased. The light, the trembling. Everywhere was quiet for some time and darkness pervaded.
I didn't know why, but the thing that came to my head was: death. I must have died. And now, I was in this sort of limbo where nothing existed. Having this belief, I gasped and started to grope around for anything I could touch. Surely, this place wasn't a void! And I was right because someone grabbed my arm. I whipped my head in the direction, ready to punch whomever it was off. "Olivia? Oh God, yes! Wake up. Open your eyes."
Open my eyes? Did that mean my eyes were shut? And so, I did obeyed... or rather, my eyes did so on its own accord and I came face to face with this brown haired lady who looked so f*****g familiar. I took a second, then gasped. Wait a minute... "Leah?"
She bolstered my suspicion by making a sound, one that showed relief and joy. And sadness? Her eyes were teary. And her heartbeat was so strong I had actually heard it. Her breathing was quite noticed as well. I shook my head. What's wrong with me? She pulled me to a hug, clutching me tight. I wrapped my arm around her and I found myself tearing up.
"Oh, thank God," she cried. "I thought you were going to die."
As she said this my brain went through the past events: the whole chaos at Matteo's mansion, and me being found by Lyons. The whole truth that Dad was dead and Lyons and I marching towards Matteo. The sharp plunge of something around my neck. I shook my head.
"What happened? What happened to me and where..." I looked around. We were in a crammed room with what appeared to be farm tools all around me. "are we?"
Leah sniffed and narrated all that happened. I had been attacked by a wolf and more than half of the werewolf city was wiped out. I widened my eyes.
"Does that mean I'm a wolf?" I asked in horror, shaking my head in denial. Leah's pursed lip was a goddman obvious giveaway. I sprang up, my body going on full blown hysteria such that my emotions were palpable. I was a wolf? Oh my God.
"Olivia...We can get through this," Leah said, rising. I wasn't hearing any of it. It made sense now. It made sense that I could taste the water vapour in the air, and could pick up metallic scent of Leah's anklet. It made sense that I could voices I knew were at distance. I knew they were at a distance because I asked Leah if she could hear them. Her answer came as a no. I could feel all of Leah's bodily actions. The fast beating of her heart, the rush of her blood into her arteries, and the sound of her eyeballs moving. "I'm a wolf, Leah!" Horror contorted my voice, such that I sounded like a wounded banshee.

Ten Weeks Later
I woke up feeling completely different. Tired and drained. This has been going on for quite something however today was strange.
Granted, I'd been training fit weeks. Granted, Leah had been coaching me non-stop and I had been hard on myself all this while, but I knew this lethargy was out of place. I could hardly move out of the bed. Top of that, everything irritated me. The air, my breath, the smell of wood that framed the windows, doors and beds here. Everything.
I pulled myself from the bed and went for a bucket of water at the end of the room. I scooped some water and splashed it on my face. For a while I felt relieved, but sure enough, the dizziness returned.
I groaned as the door to the room creaked open. The sound was irritating.
"Hey, are you alright?" It was Leah. I rose from my crouching position and walked towards the bed.
"Yeah. Just a little groggy."
I sat, fighting the nauseous feeling I was getting from Leah's shampoo. She walked up to me, and I felt like dying. However, I held myself. It was uphill battle, but I was determined to stay put. "Good news, Olivia. Strings of them."
Not really interested, yet not wanting to break her heart, I asked, "What?"
"Make a guess."
I sighed. Nah, I wasn't really feeling it. But in order to get her off my case, I said, "Just say it, Leah. Please."
She scoffed. "Typical. Anyway." She sat beside me, wrapping her arm around my shoulder. Her scent was so strong that I could throw up at any moment.
"The coast is clear now. You, Lyons and I can come live in Fridgeton."
"I'm a wolf, Leah. "
"What does it matter? Fridgeton is your home. Everyone knows this. Come on, aren't you tired from all the hiding?"
I sighed. She was right.
"Okay. What other news do you have."
She squealed. "Guess, guess guess!"
"I..." The retching of my stomach cut me short. I rushed forward and reached for an empty bucket. I poured out the content of my gut inside, coughing as I did. Leah rushed to my side and pulled my hair from my face. I threw up, harder, much violently. Done, I slumped back. F**k I'm a mess.
"You don't look okay." She looked at me, with an accusatory eye. Then, she leaned close, "Have...have you seen your period lately?"
I frowned.
"What? Just a question."
But she was right. I couldn't remember seeing my periods, since all this chaos started, well except the days before I had s*x with Matteo. Realising this, I gasped.
No way!
"What?" Leah asked, her huge brown eyes flashing at me.
"Oh my God. Oh my God." I rose from the ground.
"Babe, what's the problem?"
"You think I'm pregnant?" I asked, frightfully. Oh geez. No, this shouldn't be true.
"Calm down. Breathe-"
"Don't tell me to calm down. F**k, I could be pregnant!"
I could tell there were thousands of questions going on in Leah's head. One likely one being: who the f**k did you have s*x with? But Leah being the kind of friend she was, didn't prod. She knew how embarrassed I got with the topic of s*x. "Come with me." I followed her as she pulled out her duffel bag under the bed and unzipped it. She took out a pregnancy kit. I shut my eyes. No, please no.
"Come on," she urged. "We have to rule that out."
After I had peed on the stick, and crossing my fingers that my fears never happened, the result came out positive. I clapsed my hand over my mouth and began pacing around. No! I couldn't possibly be carrying that monster's child. F**k! "This can't be true." I said to Leah who stood, bemused. "I mean, I wasn't ovulating when I had s*x with him. I mean..."
Not that I had signs whenever I was on my ovulation, but then, my fertile period couldn't have been day 11. Not day 11.
I buried my face m my palm, weeping. How messed up was it that the man that murdered my father got me pregnant? How messed up?
Leah got to where I was and began patting my shoulder. The churning of my stomach, plus this sad reality birthed anger. The anger which shot from my mouth as cusses and roaring.
Matteo, I hate you!
