Hardwick's POV

I stared at the woman on the bed lying like a lifeless body. If I couldn't sense her slow breathing Iwould have thought that she was dead. She was all good and healthy a few minutes ago. Then howcome she suddenly ended up lying on bed pale and lifeless? The pack doctor checked her pulsethen checked her heartbeat. She put down the stethoscope in her medical box then sighed.

"What happened? Why did she suddenly pass out without any reason?" I frowned.

The pack doctor turned around and looked at me "Alpha, nothing happens unreasonably. Everyaction has its own cause”

I rolled my eyes "Did I ask you to lecture me about cause and effects? I want you to tell me thereason why my mate suddenly fainted" I gritted my teeth.

"Oh yes" she grinned "the reason is definitely you"

I was shocked "what? Me? How come it's me?"

What the fucking hell is she talking about? How come I became the reason for my mate's faint?

"Of course it's you. Her HCG levels are high. Estrogen and progesterone will cause some effects inher body. She may feel tired and weak. But that's fine, it will happen anyway" the doctor nodded herhead.

"What?" I barked at her. What the fuck?

"What the fuck you are talking about? Why don't you just say it in simple words?" I growled as Itook a step forward.

"Hey, relax. Don't forget I am a doctor here” Sadie strengthen her doctor dress then sighed"um..what I meant to say that congratulations”

"Congratulations for what?"

She grinned "because you are soon be a daddy”

"What a big deal abo-" my words stopped in the middle when I realised what she said just now. Didshe just utter the “daddy’ word?

I looked at her totally shocked "did you just? Just said daddy?"

"I won't lie to you" Sadie grinned "I must say you are quite fast you know. Your mate just enteredthe pack yet you already made her pregnant?”

I rolled my eyes "fuck off"

If she weren't my good friend then I would have strangled her for speaking in that way. But Sadie isa funny and lively girl. She devoted herself to the medical line and became a pack doctor.

"Don’t be so rude, Alpha. You are about to become a dad. How could you always stay so angry?Your kids will run out of scare” she joked.

"I didn't replace it hilarious enough” I have her cold look.

"I was not joking you know" she raised her hands.

"Good, you are smart enough at least”

"I know that" she turned and picked her medical box "she is sleeping now. I have given her theinjection, it will help her body to relax. I will come and check on her when she is awake. Till then youcan rest too. You look like about to pass out too" she laughed then walked towards the door.

"By the way Alpha, congratulations again" she smiled then walked out.

The grin on my face couldn't fade as I thought about this matter again and again. She is pregnant.My mate is pregnant. I couldn't believe it. Finally I am going to have my family. I walked towards herand sat on the bed. Holding her hand I kissed it lovingly then my eyes fell on her flat abdomen. Mychild will be growing up there. I can imagine the little bud in its mom's womb. I leaned down andkissed her abdomen. I couldn't wait to hold my baby. Finally after so many years my dream is aboutto be fulfilled.

"Thank you for this my love" I kissed Savannah's lips lightly. Her steady breathing echoed in my ear."You don't have any idea what you have given to me. I couldn't replace myself happier than this. Ialmost thought I would have to spend my time alone, for eternity but you proved me wrong. Youcame into my life like an angel then lit it up with your light. Bathing it with happiness and peace.How am I going to thank you for this?" I said and I kissed her forehead.

"I will never let you down. I will take care of you until I have my last breath. You and are our baby,the most precious gift in my life baby" I whispered in her ear as I planted a kiss on her cheek.

I couldn't contain my happiness. There was a sudden knock on the door. Then the door pushedopen revealing Ryan and Jenny. They both looked concerned.

"What happened? I heard Luna fainted?" He asked then looked at Savannah.

I kissed her hand again before getting up from bed. Shoving my hands in my pant pockets I smiledat them.

"Yeah, we were at the back when she suddenly passed out”

"And you look happy?" He frowned "don't tell me you have anything to do with this"

"Actually it has everything to do with me," I added.

"What?" Ryan looked shocked "what did you do?"

"Something special” I grinned.

"What the fuck man? " Ryan rolled his eyes. Jenny looked at us with confusion.

"She is pregnant,” I confessed.

"Yes I know she is-" WHAT?" Ryan's jaw dropped on the floor.

"What did you say?" He still looked so unconvinced.

"I said we are about to have a baby" I repeated.

"Fuck, you are" he shook his head "hell you are too good. So fast"

I rolled my eyes and Jenny slapped his arm.

"What are you talking about?" She looked at me "congratulations Master. It is such a great news"

I smiled "thanks Jenny"

"How about Mistress? Is she alright?" Her face was showing great concern.

I nodded “she is fine. The doctor gave her an injection so she is sleeping now"

"It's good to hear. Since everything is fine then we will visit once Mistress wake up”

I nodded. Jenny turned to Ryan who still looked shocked.

"What are you doing? Congratulate them” she scolded him then smiled before walking out.

"It's ..." Ryan shook his head "congratulations buddy" he hugged me. "I never thought I wouldbecome an uncle before I could become a dad" he sighed.

I smirked "so you were planning to impregnate Jenny?"

"Fuck. I just couldn't wait to start a family. But hell you beat me" he looked so regretful "I shouldn'thave waited two months in pursuing her" he shook his head.

"Well it's all about luck” I smirked again. He threw a glare at me.

"Anyways I am still glad. I can fucking spoil the little prince or princess" he grinned.

I rolled my eyes "fuck off"

"Easy man. I am going. I need to make babies too" then before I could say he left.

I shook my head but there was a smile on my face. I turned and looked at my mate. After thinkingfor a while I removed my shoes and shirt then slid in the duvet and laid next to her. Pulling her tome I closed my eyes while the clouds of peace covered my mind.

Savannah's POV

I woke up feeling tired. I don't know why I am feeling this sudden tiredness? What happened to me?I looked around and found its my room. I tried to sit but something stopped me. I looked aroundand found a large hand holding my waist securely. It was not pressing me tightly like usual buttoday it was just placed lightly on my waist. I sighed. How did I end up here? Last time I was still inthe flower garden house talking about his parent's romantic life. The. I suddenly felt my headspinning.

"You are awake?" I felt Hardwick stirred behind me.

"Hm.... How did I end up here?"

"You fainted back in the house so I brought you here and have the doctor check on you" he repliedas he sat on the bed. I also sat and he placed a pillow on my back.

"How are you feeling? " He asked.

"l am fine but I feel tired"

"It happens. She said about it" he nodded.

I frowned at him "what are you saying? Who told you?"

He smiled "Sadie, the pack doctor said about it"

I shook my head "it's not about today. I have been feeling from past few days"

"Why didn't you tell me?" He frowned.

"I..." I felt guilty suddenly "you stayed so busy all these days. I thought it's about some importantmatter of pack so I didn't want to bother you with this small matter"

"Never" he shook his head "it's never a small matter when it comes to you and your health. Promiseme you will tell me whatever happens in future. Not a single matter should be left behind. Do youunderstand?"

I nodded weakly "okay"

"You need to take good care of yourself now. Besides this time it's not only about you and there'salso someone too"

"What? " I couldn't understand his words. What he is talking about. There's also someone too?Someone who?

"Hardwick, what are you talking about? And what do you mean by someone?”

"You still didn’t get it love?" He tilted his head smiling at me. And I found this action cute. God he ishandsome and also cute sometimes.

"Get what?" I asked him. Since I woke up he has been behaving weirdly. I really can't understandwhat happened to him. He is not a kind of person who talks irrelevant topics without any rhyme orreason.

"I have something to share with you"

"What is it?"

"I thought only I could have you. Your time, your mind, your body and your heart. But I was totallywrong because there's something that I forgot . But today I realised that and it's all thanks to you"

I frowned at his words "what are you trying to say? I am already yours"

He shook his head "no, you are not mine alone”

Suddenly I felt frustrated with him. What the fuck is he trying to say now? I am not his. He neversaid anything like this then why he is blabbering this kind of idiotic words?

"What are you trying to say? Are you trying to irritate me now? If yes then you won" I huffedsnapping at him.

He chuckled "you are moody darling”

I glared at him. My mood dropped and anger raged in my heart "since you are so interested inentertainment then get out and replace something that can entertain you. Because I am not really inthe mood to serve you" I turned my head to the other side.

"Why are you so angry darling?" He smirked instead of getting angry.

"Are you not tired of irritating me?"

"No, actually I need to tell you something”

"What?" I rolled my eyes. Even after saying so many things he still has to tell me?

He didn't replied immediately but took my hand in his and kissed it lightly "I want to thank you first"I looked at him. A sudden tenderness born in my heart with his action. All the bitterness I had a fewseconds ago suddenly started to fade, replaced by sweetness. But I didn't let it show on my face. Iwill never give him this satisfaction.

"Thank you for coming into my life and lighting it up with happiness. I never thought I would getsuch love and care but you proved me wrong and made me so happy that I couldn't ask for more"he looked up smiling "and all of this happened because of you. No matter how much I thank you, itwon't be enough”

"Hardwick, what happened? You are this emotional so suddenly?" I asked softly. His words meltedmy heart in an instant. To be honest I don't have any control over my mood now. I don't know why Isuddenly become so angry and the next moment I am emotional.

He chuckled "because I am happy. I couldn't contain my happiness”

"What made you so happy?"

He cupped my face and looked at me with extreme tenderness on his face "you made me so happydarling. You made me so happy, you made my life complete”

"What?" I frowned.

"Baby, you are pregnant” he chuckled.

My heart dropped and my eyes widened in shock. What? Pregnant? I am pregnant? For a moment Icouldn't believe what I heard. I am pregnant? Oh my god I am pregnant. It was a huge bomb thatblew my mind and my heart at the same time.

"What did you just say?" I asked not believing at all.

"You are pregnant,” he smiled.

"You ..." I stammered then suddenly a smile replaced my shock. I am pregnant.

"l am pregnant?”

He nodded rapidly "yes, our first baby is growing in here" he placed his hand on my flat abdomen. Itouched my belly over his hand. Happy tears rolled from my eyes. I couldn't contain my happiness.Oh my god, I am pregnant.

"Our baby" I grinned while he smiled. He joined our forehead.

"Thank you for this gift baby. It's priceless" he whispered. His voice is almost fading.

"Thank you too. I never thought that waking up, I will hear this news"

"I was so scared when you fainted and I almost thought I lost you. I even scolded Sadie because youweren't waking up. But when she revealed that you are pregnant I didn't know how to react for amoment. I don't know how to thank you for this"

I hugged him "it's not only me but us. Thank you for this"

He pulled back and smiled "you need to take good care of yourself. Now it's not only about you butalso about her baby. I am already so excited to see our baby and hold him or her in my arms" hechuckled at the end.

I smiled "you are already so eager mister"

"I am " he admitted nodding "Sadie will come again to check on you. Now that you are pregnantshe will stay by your side so that she can take good care of you. As a doctor she knows better aboutyour condition”

I nodded "okay"

"If you need anything, you just have to tell me okay"

"I will," I nodded again. "Does everyone know about it?"

He shook his head "they knows that you passed out but they don't know about your pregnancyexcept Ryan, Jenny and Sadie"

"Hardwick, can we keep this secret?"

He frowned "you don't want anyone to know? Why?"

"Don't take it wrong" I said immediately "I don't know why but Delaney and Daisy's action made myheart restless. I felt like something big was about to happen. So I don't want others to know aboutmy condition. You know enemies only attack to the weak point. And if it gets spread then maybeothers could take advantage of it. Besides since I am pregnant I couldn't fight with others heavily.So to avoid problems we need to keep this secret for time being” I explained. I really don't want himto take my words the wrong way.

He pondered for a while seriously before finally nodding his head "since that's what you want themwe will do it in your way then. I just want you and our baby to be safe and sound" saying that heplaced a soft kiss on my forehead.

"l also want this. We have got another responsibility" I smiled.

He chuckled "yes a big one”

There was happiness shining in his captivating eyes "I am planning to arrange crowning ceremonyfor you"

"What?" I was surprised.

He nodded "it's already enough time for you to get adjusted in the pack. Though the whole packknows about you but since the pack has two parts I want them to know about it too. So I havedecided to make it official"

"Are you serious?"

"100%"

I looked at him for a moment then nodded slightly "since you have decided it then it's fine with me""Thank you. It won't be hard don't worry"

“Okay”

There's a knock on the door and we both looked at it.

"Come in" Hardwick replied and the door pushed open revealing a beautiful red-haired woman inwhite cloth. She was holding a box and wearing gloves in her hand. She walked in with a smile onher face.

"You are awake, Luna," she smiled.

Hardwick got up from bed and stood in front of me giving us some space. The woman sat on thebed then opened her medical box. She looked up and smiled brightly.

"Hello Luna, I am Sadie Young your doctor"
