Comeback Of The Adored Heiress -
Chapter 664
Glenn responded with a deep, solemn voice, “I admit my mistakes, but now isn’t the time to dwell on them.
Our priority must be to identify the traitor within the company!”
“The surveillance system was conveniently down recently,” one executive said, his tone tinged with irritation.
“We can’t replace out who accessed your office.”
“Moreover, it’s possible someone from outside did this.
If Chapman Group had been determined enough to steal our files, they might have hired someone to break in, maybe even through an office window.”
The investigation proved to be incredibly challenging.
“We must start the investigation immediately!” Glenn declared, slamming his hand on the table.
Everyone nodded in agreement.
After the meeting, Glenn dialed Jeffry.
Speaking calmly yet with a forceful undertone, he said, “I didn’t expect you to be this capable.”
Jeffry felt an inexplicable chill-Glenn’s commanding presence had intimidated many over the years.
Reminding himself that they were not the disadvantaged party, Jeffry retorted, “Mr.
Johns, we are the victims here.
You stole our blueprints.
It’s outrageous! You owe us an explanation.”
“An explanation, is it? Then come to Ansport.” Glenn’s voice was cold and unyielding.
Jeffry’s face contorted with disbelief.
“We’re the victims here, and you expect us to travel to Ansport? Shouldn’t you be coming to Gemond to discuss this?”
“You have ten hours to get here, or I won’t hesitate to take this to court,” Glenn declared, then abruptly hung up.
As Jeffry put down the phone, Jenna and Phyllis, who had been waiting nearby, immediately approached him.
“What happened?” Jenna asked anxiously.
Jeffry’s face was dark with frustration.
“I didn’t expect Glenn to be so confident, even at this stage.
He’s demanding we go to Ansport or face legal action!”
Jenna’s brow furrowed as she considered the situation.
“Then let’s go.
Our goal is to take over Johns Group.
If Glenn is willing to hand it over without a fight, we can avoid a lengthy lawsuit.”
Jeffry nodded in agreement.
“Alright.
We’ll head to Ansport.”
The family quickly set off for Ansport.
In Ansport.
The two parties arranged to meet in a private room at a hotel.
Jeffry deliberately adopted a cold and arrogant demeanor, hoping to dominate the negotiations.
However, the moment Glenn and Rowan entered the room, the atmosphere shifted palpably.
Glenn’s indifferent gaze swept over the Chapman family, and Jeffry’s shoulders tensed instinctively; Glenn’s aura was formidable, and it was clear that his confidence was unshakable.
This was Rowan’s first encounter with the Chapman family.
He wasn’t sure why Glenn had insisted on bringing him along and felt an uneasy knot in his stomach.
Glenn took his seat across from the Chapman family and began sipping his coffee leisurely.
