“Is that man currently at the main office in Gemond?”

“Yes, he’s the vice president there.

He handles the business operations alongside Dane.”

“Okay.”

As they chatted, they reached Edge Entertainment.

It had been a while since Madisyn had been at work, and she finally returned.

When she entered the company, her colleagues were shocked to see her.

Maxine ran up and embraced her.

“Miss Johns, you’re really here! Everyone thought you were gone!”

“I’m okay,” Madisyn reassured her with a smile.

“I’m sorry for the concern.”

“As long as you’re okay.” Maxine stared at her, visibly relieved.

Just then, Milly exited the elevator and immediately called Howard upon spotting Madisyn.

“What’s going on?” Howard’s voice was calm.

Milly informed him, “Miss Johns is back at work.”

Howard chuckled and said, “She returned yesterday.

Everything is fine.”

“Okay.”

After ending the call, Milly approached Madisyn.

She gazed at her with big, expressive eyes, her look filled with concern, but she said nothing.

Madisyn found Milly’s expression endearing.

“I’m really okay.

I’m sorry for worrying you.”

“Well, Howard is also worried,” Milly mentioned.

“It was just an accident.

It won’t happen again.”

“That’s a relief.”

“How’s the preparation for the fashion show going?” Madisyn asked Maxine.

“I’ve been rehearsing these past few days.

The show is the day after tomorrow.”

“If I can, I’ll come watch,” Madisyn replied.

Maxine smiled and raised her eyebrows.

“Okay.”
