She received a lot of concern from people that morning.

Around noon, Susan called.

“Waah… Waah…” It was sobbing.

Madisyn inquired, “What’s wrong? Susan, what happened to your grandpa?”

“Waah Waah… I only just found out what happened to you.

Are you alright? Were you in a car accident?” Susan sobbed, blaming herself.

“I’m okay.”

Madisyn started a video call to put Susan at ease.

Seeing Madisyn alive and well brought tears of relief to Susan’s eyes.

“I’m so relieved you’re okay.

Was it an accident?”

“It wasn’t an accident.

Jenna was involved.

She’s been put in prison now.”

Susan was remorseful.

“I had no idea what happened to you.

I’m so sorry.”

“Don’t worry about it,” Madisyn said, comforting her.

“Your grandpa just woke up.

It’s only right that you focus on taking care of him and don’t let other things stress you out.”

“Alright,” Susan said with a nod, though her expression still showed signs of concern.

“My grandfather’s health has improved significantly now.

Are you free for dinner this evening, Madisyn? Feel free to bring Mr.

Klein along if you’d like,” she added.

“That sounds good to me,” Madisyn responded with a smile.

Once she ended the call, Madisyn promptly called Andrew to tell him about the dinner plan.

Meanwhile, in the CEO’s office at Klein Group, Andrew was seated comfortably on the sofa, pouring himself a cup of coffee, while Dane sat across from him.

They were in the middle of discussing a business partnership that had been progressing smoothly.

Dane was somewhat taken aback by how agreeable Andrew was being; he’d never seen him so relaxed and easygoing.

He then decided to shift the conversation to more personal topics and asked, “How does your grandfather feel about your marriage with Madisyn?”

“My grandfather is very supportive of it.

He’s quite fond of Madisyn,”

Andrew replied.

“That’s great to hear,” Dane said, taking a sip of his coffee.

Just then, Andrew’s phone rang, and his face softened as he picked up the call.

Dane could make out Madisyn’s voice faintly on the line.
