As Fiona placed her hands on the convulsing soldier's chest, a warm light emanated from her palms. Everyone, including her father, watched in stunned silence as the soldier's body gradually stilled. The frothy bubbles ceased, and color began to return to his face. Even the council members who had just arrived seemed summed when they saw her healing a soldier.

However, Elijali's voice broke the silence. "We need to move!" he called, snapping everyone back to reality. "Start healing the others now!"

Lord Rosenthal and Elise immediately sprang into action, moving to treat the next soldier in distress. They rushed to assess the situation, their expressions serious as they worked together to stabilize the other fallen warriors. Just like Fiona, the same light appeared on their palms.

Seeing this. Zach crossed his arm lightly over hischest. He glared at Fiona "What are you doing Fiona?" he mumbled inwardly.

Fiona didn't pay the others any attention as she continued healing. The light in her palms never faded, but she could feel her energy waning. Each healing left her a little weaker, yet she pressed on. She knew that this fatigue would soon pass. It was only because she wasn't used to using too much of her energy-

After healing the tenth soldier, she staggered slightly, her vision blurring. Just as she felt herself begin to falter, Elijah was there, wrapping an arm around her waist to steady her. "Fiona, you need to rest," he said firmly, concern etched on his face "No, I can't

stop

now she insisted, pulling away from him. "There are still soldiers that need my help"

Before she could take a step forward. Elijah caught her again, his grip firm. "You're about to fall over. I won't let you keep going like this.

"Just put me down!" she snapped, frustration bubbling to the surface. "It will pass. This is a... a small effect that we had to undergo."

Elijah shook his head. "You're pushing yourself too hard. If you collapse, who will heal them then?"

"I'm fine!" she retorted, her stubbornness flaring. "I have to help them. Whatever the Lycans want from me caused this. I can't just stand by and do nothing!"

Seeing the fire in her eyes. Elijah sighed, his shoulders dropping in defeat. "Fine," he said reluctantly, slowly lowering her to the ground. "But you better not overdo it.

Fiona nodded. "I won't the promised, stepping back toward the nearest soldier.

As she resumed her healing, the light radiated from her palms, illuminating the faces of the soldiers around her. One by one, she touched each soldier, pouring her energy into them. She pushed through the fatigue, her focus solely on helping them recover

Zach's irritation simmered beneath the surface as he watched Fiona heal the soldiers. The room buzzed with admiration, eyes fixated on her, and he felt a deep-seated jealousy rising within him. How could they all look at her like that? It twisted his gut. He could barely stomach the sight of it Fiona was his ex-wife, she belonged to him, not to the likes of Elijah or any of the other soldiers staring at her with reverence.

The thought that she had chosen to leave their clan gnawed at him. The woman acted like she was useless and left! Now, here she was, Was this the reason why Fiona left! Because she wanted all this attention!

Sensing the collective gaze up

upon her, he felt a surge of possessiveness. Why does it feel like they think they have a claim over her? He gritted his teeth, fits clenching at his sides, ready to confront anyone who dared to look too long

Just as he was about to make a move, a strong tug on his arm pulled him back. It was Alpha Cris, his father, grounding him in reality. "Do you want to make a fool of yourself again?" Cris asked, his tone sharp, eyes narrowed in disapproval.

Zach's mand flashed back to the night before-how he had lost his temper and embarrassed himself in front of the pack and the other Alphas. He turned to see Elijah watching him, a slight smirk on his face. The sight ignited another wave of irritation within him. He felt the urge to wipe that serurk off Elijali's face.

Before he could art on

Limpulic, Cris tugged his arm again. "Enough," he said firmly. "Co back to your rooms.

mms. We don't need you here causing

Zach stiffened, annoyance bubbling over. "I'm not causing trouble! I just-

"Just what?" Gris interrupted, his gaze steady. "You're upset about Fiona. I understand, but this isn't the time or place. You need to control yourself."

Zach huffed, wanting to protest but knowing his Laiber was right. He glanced back at Fiona, still focuses on her healing, the light glowing softly from her palms. It was maddening to see her like that, helping others while be felt helpless.

With a reluctant sigh, he turned away from the scene, following his father back down the corridor.
