Don’t Fall for the Billionaire Lover -
Chapter 768
Isaac was itching for payback from the birthday bash fiasco. That kick to his chest had cracked a rib, and now even a simple cough felt like torture. Always one for a bit of drama, he couldn't help but stir the pot from the sidelines. "Today's gonna be a real spectacle," he mused. "Big cousin, you're in for a world of hurt." Up on stage, Chloe eyed Grant, who seemed completely relaxed, even with a hint of a teasing grin on his lips. Chloe piped up, "You sure you're up for sparring with me like this, buddy?"
"Been a while since we last faced off. Let's see what you've got," Grant replied. Back in the day, Chloe would lose nine out of ten bouts against him, and that had always bugged her. But today, with no gear, it seemed like the perfect time to prove herself. "Don't blame me if I don't hold back," she warned, launching her first attack.
She moved with the speed and grace of a cheetah, aiming a solid punch right at Grant's face. But Grant didn't flinch. With a swift sidestep, he dodged her attack. Chloe didn't miss a beat, going for a high kick aimed at his chest. Grant caught her ankle with ease and pulled hard. Quick as a flash, Chloe flipped mid-air and freed herself from his grip.
That's when Grant decided it was time to fight back. The stage became a whirlwind of punches and kicks, growing more intense by the second. At first, Grant seemed content to stay on defense, but Chloe's relentless and well-coordinated attacks forced him to step up his game. The crowd was riveted. Who would've thought the most thrilling match of the night would be a challenge bout?
As the fight heated up, the audience went into a frenzy. People picked sides, shouting and cheering, completely forgetting about their meals. The entire venue buzzed with excitement. Isaac was totally engrossed, rooting for Chloe with all his might, almost leaning too far over the balcony rail.
Everyone was on the edge of their
seats, except for Connor. He sat calmly, observing the two fighters who clearly knew each other's

moves inside out. Grant had thought about taking it easy, but Chloe's full-on assault made him get
serious. The match was neck and neck, more of a spectacular show than a boxing match.
In the end, Chloe began to tire. Grant seized the moment and took her down. As Chloe hit the ground, Connor instinctively stood, noticing
the
that Grant had eased up on the force Chloe's fall wasn't too severe. Lying there, catching her breath, she
raised her hand and admitted, "I concede."
The crowd erupted with cheers. Even in defeat, Chloe felt a rush of exhilaration. She hadn't experienced such a thrill in years. She
acknowledged Grant's superior skills but was satisfied with how far she'd pushed herself. Grant walked over to her, "You alright?"
Still sprawled on the ground, Chloe assured him, "I'm fine." Grant bent down, offering his hand, "Come on, get up." Chloe, having taken off her gloves, placed her hand in his, and he helped her to her feet.
The announcer stepped in, declaring Grant the winner of the challenge. "Thank you both for an unforgettable showdown," he announced. "And now, I present the winner of today's match, this gentleman right here. A generous prize is on its way."
Just then, a shadowy figure stepped up on stage, his voice cutting through the noise with a cool, distant tone. "Does the challenge really end after just one round?"
