Draconess
Vol.2 Chapter 18

The next day, Zarcar takes me to the Academy of Magik & Combat, a university set up by Rey and Zar on the outskirts of Swendula for maximum ground and flexibility for set training. It’s totally cool and all, with new architecture and beautiful big buildings, until I see the one thing that annoys me to no end. It’s fully male oriented with women only doing odd jobs to maintain the complex.

It looks utterly miserable to my trained eye.

What a waste of potential talent. Women could be teachers here too, and students.

I sigh.

Perhaps for another time, when I have the power to make amends.

I simply grow further irate for now.

While I enjoyed the fucking all throughout a romantic storm last night with Zarcar – now I am witnessing a different kind of storm.

“You can have this space, Zar, and wallow in it. I? I want a Church for Priestesses,” I tell my lover as he shows me the garden out the back of the campus, “I’ll kill Rey if he doesn’t give me that, at the very least.”

“Sweetheart, did you forget, Rey controls Hellfire, you’ll be dead before you even make the first move; you can never and I will never allow you, to challenge the Immortal King. He who generously allows you a position in the city, with me as your Keeper, in all things,” Zarcar chuckles and sits with me in the courtyard on a smooth stone bench, after showing me around the whole campus with pride.

“Simple. I’ll fuck Rey and slit his throat in the act,” I shrug, just partially joking about it, “…besides, Zarcar, I have a Draconess ability to kill his kind, so Rey will listen to me eventually. I will make him listen, you can count on that.”

“When Rey comes back, we’ll discuss the law in a civil manner all together, as civil as we can be… no bloodletting,” Zarcar’s eyes are completely focused on the training happening across the garden, at this moment, in a muddy field. Men swing wooden swords and practice spear throwing, and hand to hand combat as well.

“What are they training for?” I ask, sounding bored, my eyes drooping, “Any enemy in particular? A disgruntled neighbour? A second demon army from the vindictive devil himself?”

“None of your concern, Chyronex,” always the answer of the day for me, apparently.

I consider arguing but I’m interrupted first.

“My Queen!” Andoll yawns awake from behind us, “…are you hungry? I am. Horse root?” she’s been napping in the bush, a picked horse root in her hand. Andoll sits up all the way and Zarcar jumps to his feet, taking her conscious presence as a reason to check the progress of his squires.

“Don’t go far, my lovelies,” Zarcar watches me for a moment, holding up a warning finger, he wags it back and forth. I smile but my eyes can’t lie. As his black gaze understands my inner fury, he simply walks off anyway to give me an opportunity to obey and prove allegiance to his hand.

Zarcar made it rather clear I would be kept on a tight leash if I disrespected his orders entirely. He would not tolerate the life of a Viperae.

So, simply in his favour, I wouldn’t completely disrespect him in front of others. I’d only bend the rules in my favour, just a bit, whenever I could.

“No horse root, Andoll, no thank you, let’s walk into the forest and explore, we might replace some wild berries and other fruit for lunch? Something proper tasty?” I stand and walk with her.

“Maybe some demons to kill?” Andoll chuckles, “I wouldn’t mind slaughtering some bad forest demons, dwellers of the green.”

“If we replace any, we shall slaughter them together. Maybe we’ll replace a pretty place to have a picnic at the end of it? Bones and all?”

“Aye,” Andoll skips ahead and I run briefly to catch up.

As I soon replace out, I can’t keep up with her darting like a monkey between the trees, expert with all her movements.

Eventually, I lag behind while I simply enjoy the smells and sounds of the forest.

It was good to go for a walk and clear my mind.

I had a lot to consider.

Zarcar was a fun companion until he decided to restrict me from things I wanted. He had all manner of powers to do so outside of a war, and in truth, I didn’t want to always war with him over such silly things.

I wanted to replace a way to settle into Swendula peacefully with my freedom intact, and with Zar’s trust in me to stay safe even if I strayed far from him at times.

As for Rey? I didn’t exactly know his plans for the future because Zarcar was refusing to give me details. I already decided I’d work on that part slowly.

Torrent… oh, Torrent… I hope to Hellfire I’ll never see him again but I know that is unlikely. With that kind of desperation for dominance over a new untameable Draconess who tricked the greatest legend, himself, out of his Ash of Eden; I do doubt Tor will leave me alone entirely when he learns my wedding was a brief excuse to leave his Kingdom.

Hmmm.

And Lixar. A wild card. He tended to be more like Zar than I’d like to admit. Just more… sneaky. While Zarcar was straight to the point, Lixar was both bitter and spiteful at times. We clashed because of it.

Overall, I enjoyed Zarcar’s most steady mind, despite the difficulties involved with that kind of stubborn outlook on life.

“I’ve found a water source and Reed Demons, Queen!” Andoll screeches from ahead, “Kill them!” she commands herself, quite manical.

I hurry forward, not wishing to miss the action. I brush aside some long fat ferns and their leaves, to replace Andoll in her two horse sized Dragon sister demon forms, trotting both through the shallows, wings arched and twitching, her mouth with sharp splinter teeth ravaging rotten looking eels.

Ew.

I screw up my face, seeing the demon souls are ugly and twisted in these animals, innocent creatures taken over by the evil within, hidden beneath such foul creatures with gaping mouths and red teeth.

Very tasty and nutritious, good for our bones, Andoll explains to me, do you want one, my Queen -?

“No thank y-!” I hold up a hand but Andoll already obliges a desire she didn’t know I didn’t have. She has already thrown over a Reed Demon, so it lands in front of me and squirms on the dirt, it’s veins red like Hellfire, it’s leather skin is black like Zar’s eyes, the body wriggles, trying to launch forward at my legs.

“Disgusting thing,” I burn it with my hold on my fire, and the demon turns to a fine black dust which then sinks into the soil. Good riddance, “Is the water safe yet, Andoll?” I look back up at Andoll now, as she’s switched back to her mortal self. Naked, she drops into the water, shrugs at me and lies face down with the crabs and worms on the shore.

She clearly wants some time to be mindful with nature, so I shrug myself and then explore the edges of this black pool of water.

It doesn’t seem to have a water source, other than rain.

Eventually I choose to use the black, black water, as a reflection and a mirror device.

I wish to see a hint of the near future.

Not too impossible, even if it’s not my specialty.

I replace a rock to cut my palm, squeezing three drops of blood into the water while murmuring a little fortune spell… “…ego sum saga…” I am all-knowing, I hiss it like a Moon Priestess should in the sunlight, after all, I was weaker in the day.

I watch the water change, if somewhat slowly.

I eventually make out Zarcar’s face, irises rimmed red like Hellfire.

I was seeing a lot of that colour recently. Red. Orange. Blood. Rotten. Hot like hell.

The image of Zarcar is the same illusion Lucifer held to mimic my lover.

So, I know, it’s Lucifer instead, sending me a message.

Zarcar’s likeness raises a palm and presents to me a thin steel chain, it’s pretty but it’s a bit too expensive, even for a hound or a horse –

Zarcar hands it out further, to me… nodding to me.

Oh.

I just watch Zarcar as he speaks, but no words flow forth, the only thing I can do is try to read his lips, so I squint, “…you need me most…”

Oh, whatever, it was a bullshit vision anyway.

I slap the water and then watch the ripples clear to show Andoll standing behind me, in a headlock from one of Zarcar’s elbows.

The. Zarcar.

I said not to wander too far,” Zarcar snarls at the both of us, even as I swivel on my knees and stand in the sandy dirt as swiftly as I can.

“We trekked barely a half hour from you!” I yell, “What the bloody hell are you complaining about now? We did not run from you.”

“Don’t take my root away!” Andoll reaches for the precious horse root in Zarcar’s other hand.

He’s busy holding it out of her reach while glaring at me.

I glance between Andoll’s helpless position in Zar’s overly muscular arm, squeezing on her neck, and then I glare at the horse root.

I won’t ask him.

“…mea…” I hiss, mine.

I say it, holding out my palm – waiting for that horse root to fly out of his grip into my hand.

Instead, Zarcar holds the root tighter, using pure strength, and then he pockets it.

“Too slow and too weak midday, sweetheart.” Zarcar half-heartedly smiles and releases Andoll, “It’s fine. You’re both going to settle eventually. Let’s head back.”

“Certainly, Warlord,” I pretend to play along, but I can’t contain my irate sigh at the end.

“Stop right there,” Zarcar’s voice drops as I try to walk past him.

I stop as per his command, wondering if there is a danger nearby.

“Is everything okay?” I ask, pretending this argument is not happening.

“I’m not dealing with rebellion lightly, in my city, from my women,” Zarcar reaches behind his breeches, “I have something for you, Chyronex. Torquem steel, melted into a loose silver chain, it has a blue sheen, wrap it around your waist – it’s barely a hazard,” Zarcar reaches behind his belt, pulling out a bracelet for Andoll and throwing me the longer chain.

“What is this?” I grab it, suspicious of receiving such a gift when I saw such a similar vision moments ago, “…this is cursed steel…I feel it’s weight…”

“No curses. Wear it so you’re labelled as collared slaves – with nothing on, out of my sight, your basically free property, unless you accept a steel ring on a certain finger, my fairest witch,” Zarcar smirks, knowing every word will hit the wrong nerve.

I also hate being called a witch.

A smug Mystifyer, yes, that he is.

“So… it’s symbolic only?” I ask, tentatively.

“And it’s heavy because of the quality. Only my rank can acquire such wealthy steel,” Zarcar looks me over, from top to bottom.

“What a beautiful gift,” I smile and tie it around my waist, over the white shift I’ve worn out today. I wear it like a belt.

“It’s not a gift –” Zarcar starts to drawl in a warning, but I overtake while I can.

“I’m your rank in power, last I checked, and above your rank in a war, so the Torquem Steel is now therefore owned by me and I wear it willingly upon my body, because it’s mine now. Yes. Mine,” I wink at Andoll as she giggles and then drops to her feet, looking between us slyly, she then leans down to chew on Zarcar’s boots like a damn rabbit. Yep. Just like that.

“Run ahead, dolly, now,” Zarcar growls at Andoll and she rises to bite his wrist before sprinting off shrieking with laughter because she manages to make him bleed. My Warlord does not react, he doesn’t even wince, he just raises his arm, licks the wound clean and it heals quickly with the powerful Mystifyer magic within his veins.

“Let’s practice cursing on the roof of my Moon Tower – does that sound fun?” I make sure to keep changing the subject, as I waltz into Zarcar’s side and softly take his hand in mine, “Come along, pet.”

Got em’.

Well, for a moment, at least.

I don’t make it two more steps back into the forest before I’m close enough to be shoved two steps to the right and then pushed over a tree branch.

“Sly, but not sly enough, Chyronex,” Zarcar chuckles demonically as he lifts my dress over my naked ass and presses his clothed groin into my soft behind, pushing down on my back and tugging on the chain with the other, “…do not speak… or I’ll heat the steel adorning my trophy’s body,” Zarcar frees his cock, to promptly replace my entrance, he starts fucking me in punishment for my slip in language; I certainly didn’t expect this to happen, nor did I want it to come to this violent fucking… oh no, my pleasure was not my aim at all, ha, “My. Draconess. You’re mine.”

I stay silent. Obeying him. Just because I know it’ll piss him off.

I breathe only, grabbing the wood of the tree, Zarcar waits for me to fire back.

When I do not, Zarcar just slams his Mystifying cock in way deeper and grabs the back of my neck.

“Since you’re learning, here’s a question, slave,” Zarcar leans over me as he grinds his cock deeper, getting a moan out of my throat, especially when I already guess his question, which I will enjoy, for but a moment in lust, “Will you marry the Master of your soul?”

“I’m a free Draconess,” I laugh now, my voice wobbling as Zarcar pulls out and slams back in more rough, causing the branch to promptly snap.

I fall forward, breaking my descent with my arms in the black forest dirt, “Opff-”

“Hurt?” Zarcar shoves in tighter, falling to his knees behind me but not removing his cock from my ass.

“My elbows are a tad scraped –” I growl into the grass.

“It’s your fault, this is how a Viperae gets fucked. Soon you’ll be too busy fucking the Venatores all day to keep the dynamics healthy, too busy to practice a dissent into a deluded freedom – you’ve been owned since the moment I laid my eyes on you,” Zarcar leans over me, after fucking me all night, we spent most of the time doing the act rather than speaking of our feelings. Now, Zarcar is hellbent on telling me his heart, while I’m wriggling in the dirt, “I wanted you. Chyronex. I requested you. I bent you over my knee and spanked you in public. Remember? I’ve never let you leave my mind; even while fucking Dayarexna – I was just fucking the memory of you.”

“Argh,” I try to push back, wishing to claw into Zarcar for mentioning another female, but I’m facing forward and he’s easily using his weight to keep me locked down for the pounding he guides and controls.

“One more thing, sweetheart,” Zarcar drawls over my head, holding his cock still inside my second hole as he unleashes his first load already, “…I love your tight little ass, Chyronex…”

Zarcar waits, hears my frustrated breathing and then pulls out and stands up over me.

“B-but,” I promptly roll, looking up at him, distraught, “I – I have not cum yet!”

Chyronex,” Zarcar blinks slow and lovingly, holding out a hand for me to grab. I do grab it, and his hand clasps around mine tight, hauling me up… until he stops, when I’m only to my knees – whereby he uses his other hand to clasp the back of my skull and guide me to his messy dick and balls, “…don’t leave your Master a mess, slave… you’ll learn quickly… won’t you? Until you agree to marry me, perhaps you’ll always be cleaning this kind of mess.”

“That was up my ass,” I growl needlessly and my eyes roll upwards, seeing Zarcar above me like that, my womb almost combusts. Fuck Lucifer, “I will not marry a Master,” I lick the head of his cock boldly, and bravely, “…maybe I’ll marry a King instead…” I take his cock into my mouth and suck perfectly around his length, doing my cleaning job well enough that I leave him speechless in return.

For a moment.

“…up,” Zarcar speaks the order softly, almost to himself, but at the same time he grabs the back of my chain along my waist and hauls me up to my feet anyway, helping me to my feet, “Follow me.”

Zarcar takes the lead and holds the end of one long Torquem Steel chain in his fist.

I stare at the expensive steel and I don’t mind it.

It’s pretty on me; like a ribbon.

No matter what it represented to Zarcar; it’s a new piece of body jewellery in my mind.

And no.

I wouldn’t marry Zarcar.

No way in hell would I marry such a hunk of a Warlord and demon that I loved dearly too.

“You stink,” I murmur from behind, “Like dirty rain. I love it.”

“And you smell like daisies, my love,” Zarcar blurts it out too quick, but I lean to my side as I walk behind to see him looking forward, chin up, cheeks rather flushed after accidentally endearing his good for nothing slave a little too kindly.

Well.

His brewing kindness was rather sweet.

“I hate daises,” I growl.

“I know, I tricked you so swiftly that first time, into allowing me such easy access to your pink petals –”

“Do not remind me of your sorcery –”

“I will,” Zarcar jerks on the chain, glancing over his shoulder, both menacing and promising with that hooded gaze, “You will always be my prize, Chyronex, whether you like it or not. And when I’m King of Swendula; you’ll know it well when you’re sitting upon a throne, with me. On my lap.”
