Fall For “My Husband’s Uncle” By Janet Macadam -
Chapter 6
Chapter 6
This time, she steadied herself, but was still trembling
He was 6’2” while she was 5’4“. He was much taller than her.
It took her a lot of effort to measure the width of his shoulders, back, and arms. Then, she pulled the tape measure and began to measure his chest.
When the tape pressed against his shirt and her fingers touched it, she could feel the heat through it.
Carlos also felt very queer too.
However, Edith took her work seriously and was carefully making the relevant notes and recording it in the book, ignoring these strange feelings.
Finally, she was left with the measurements for the legs and waist.
Just as she was about to proceed, the door suddenly opened.
“Didn’t I say to being him to my office? Why did you bring him to the lounge?” someone yelled.
The man suddenly saw Carlos standing still with his back to him. A girl was kneeling in front of him in an awkward position….
“Oh my god, Carlos is so open–minded. How can he be doing this in public?” the man thought.
“What are you all doing?” the man quizzed in a state of shock.
“Why is Carlos doing this in public?” he wondered repeatedly.
Edith looked up when she heard the man questioning her. She was completely taken aback.
The man who just walked in was none other than her husband. He was the one who had retreated halfway last night. He was Simon Lawson!
Simon’s pictures had been regularly appearing on the entertainment news page for a long time, so it was difficult for her not to recognize him.
At that moment, however, he was not looking at her. Instead, he was staring straight at the other man’s back.
She quickly buried her face, afraid that he would see her.
She… she didn’t do anything, but if her husband misunderstood, would he crush her to death?
Seeing that the man was about to turn around and expose her, she hurriedly reached out her little hand and grabbed his pants tightly.
Carlos could sense her fear. Her slender body trembled and curled up into a ball. She looked extremely terrified.
“Is this because of Simon?” he thought.
He suddenly felt pity for her. Instead of turning around, he said coldly, “Since you know what we are doing, why are you not getting out of here?”
“Oh, oh!” Only then did Simon realize what was going on. He quickly replied, “You can continue. I didn’t see anything. Come to my office to look for me when you’re done.”
After that, the door closed.
Edith let out a sigh of relief. At this same time, she heard the man speak in jest, “What’s wrong? Do you want to tear off my clothes!”
Only then did she realize that she had used a lot of strength and crumpled his clothes terribly.
She was so scared that she screamed, quickly let go of him, and took two steps back.
When she looked up, she saw his cold and evil face.

That wicked smile… was so beautiful that it dazzled one’s eyes.
She quickly lowered her head to avoid his gaze. At this moment, her cell phone rang. It was Sarah.
“Edith, where are you now? I made a mistake. The president’s office is on the 68th floor, and the new employee is on the 18th floor. Come down quickly!”
“Oh god…
“This is a horrible mistake!
“Then who is this man I have offended? Even Simon is very respectful of him!” she wondered.
