Fall For “My Husband’s Uncle” By Janet Macadam -
Chapter 63
Chapter 63
Carlos witnessed what had happened to Edith from beginning to end.
When Edith was taken away, he immediately followed. Carlos pretended to be close to the two women just to make her angry. He wanted her to know the consequences of alienating him.
Therefore, after Sharon took Edith away, Carlos quickly caught up with them. But before he could make a move, Johann arrived first.
When seeing her lying in another man’s arms, Carlos felt a little upset.
Edith was clearly dispensable to him, and he didn’t want her to know his identity so early that he couldn’t get rid of her. Besides, Carlos knew that Edith once loved Johann deeply and hadn’t completely let go of the past. He thought he wouldn’t want a woman who couldn’t get over her ex.
He even didn’t know whether they had slept together.
However, Carlos felt very depressed with a heavy heart at the thought that when Edith needed help, he wasn’t around to protect her.
He suddenly regretted acting in front of the two women. He was clearly disgusted with them.
Carlos thought before Sharon took Edith away, he should have stood out to announce to everyone that she was his date tonight and anyone who dared to hurt her would die.
He was very protective of his woman!
Now Carlos was very down. He couldn’t tell Why he would feel like this but needed to vent his emotions.
After drinking and playing billiards, the man with tattoo went to the second floor and wanted to replace his VIP room to rest. He entered the room and turned on the light, only to replace a man sitting on the sofa.
The man with tattoo was stunned for a moment and frowned, saying impatiently, “Who are you? Why are you in my rest
room? Are you blind?”
As soon as he said that, he felt something was wrong. The entire cruise ship was managed by the Britton family. There were only two keys to a room, with one taken by the guest and the other the Britton family. The man with tattoo didn’t lose his key, so he wondered how the intruder got in.
There was no sign of the lock being picked at all, which proved that he opened the door with a key. The man with tattoo knew Robert but never saw this man on the sofa, thinking that he must not be a member of the Britton family. But since he was able to get the key and entered the room openly, it was assumed that he had a high status.
The man with tattoo wondered, “Who’s he?”
He immediately became vigilant. He was only rude and unreasonable in front of those who were weaker than him, but did not dare to do anything to those who were stronger than him!
“Who the hell are you? Why are you
He asked nervously.
in
my room?”
The man sitting on the sofa slowly tapped the armrest with his fingers. There was a slight sound in the quiet room, which created a terrifying atmosphere.
He looked up slightly, the coldness in his sharp eyes sending a chill down the spine of the man with tattoo,
The man with tattoo thought, “How could he have such a powerful aura?
Who exactly is he?”

He became scared, and his legs couldn’t help shaking. He wanted to run out when he heard a voice from the sofa.
“Did you see which hand he touched Mrs. Lawson with in the surveillance footage?”
The voice was extremely cold and emotionless.
Sam replied behind Carlos, “Mr. Lawson, it’s his right hand.”
“Then which hand did he use to hit her?”
“It’s his left hand,” said Sam respectfully, looking at the man with tattoo sympathetically.
Carlos was extremely protective of those who were close to him. Moreover, he was in an intimate relationship with Edith. Therefore, whoever dared to hurt her was courting death!
Sam knew that the man with tattoo was going to be in trouble!
“So do you know what to do?”
“Understood. I’ll get someone to cripple him right away.”
“Okay.”
Only then did Carlos feel a little satisfied and give a curt reply.
The man with tattoo was shocked and asked, “Who are you? How could you cripple my arms? Who exactly are you and that
woman?”
