Fall For “My Husband’s Uncle” By Janet Macadam -
Chapter 67
Chapter 67
Hearing that. Flora shook her head and explained. There’re too many misunderstandings about Mr. Lawson Actually, he is a kind person and is very polite to old servants like us. I think he’s a good child! You don’t have much contact with him. If you get familiar with him, you’ll also like him. It would be great if you two could spend more time with each other”
Flora said sadly.
Those words gave Edith a shock and lingered in her mind.
She wondered if she was the same as those who judged a person by newspapers, and if Simon was misunderstood.
She had never seen him before and only had contact with him three times.
On their wedding night, she was unconscious, but he didn’t do anything to her.
If he was a dissolute person, how could he do nothing to her? After all, Edith was pretty and also in good shape.
As for sexual dysfunction, it was just her guess. Maybe he followed the principle of not sleeping with anyone close to him!
Their second contact was through a phone call. Simon said on the phone that Edith was just an object he bought and didn’t deserve to bargain with him. He had a tough and rigorous attitude, not sounding a lecher.
The third one was when they talked through the door. He told her to pursue her happiness and promised to give her freedom at the right time. Thinking of this, Edith felt Simon was such a reasonable and kind person!
He was completely different from the person what others talked about. Edith suddenly had the idea of meeting her husband!
She took a deep breath and plucked up her courage to say, “Flora, can you help me contact Mr. Lawson? I want to see him.”
“What? You want to see Mr. Lawson!” Flora’s face instantly changed.
“Yes, is there a problem? Am I still not allowed to see him now?” Edith asked worriedly.
“Well… I don’t know either. I’ll ask for you later. It’s getting late, Mrs. Lawson. You should go to bed. I’ll go clean your room.”
Flora said hurriedly and then turned to leave. Edith only felt that it was strange, but she didn’t become suspicious.
Flora immediately called Carlos. Hearing that Edith wanted to see him, he could not help but frown. He hesitated and replied. “Okay, leave this to me. I’ll contact her.
“Yes. Mr. Lawson, you will definitely like Mrs. Lawson. She is a very cute girl!”
Carlos did not contradict Flora.
He knew that Edith was indeed an adorable girl!
After Carlos hung up, Sam asked curiously, “Mr. Lawson, are you going to tell Mrs. Lawson your real identity?”
“I thought she could guess it, but she’s too stupid and didn’t even feel suspicious. If I didn’t tell her the truth, the little girl would think I deceived her deliberately
*Little girl?”
“She’s just come of age and is seven years younger than me. Can’t I address her like this?”
Carlos said lightly.
Hearing this, Sam repressed his smile and asked, “So is this why you hit her hand? You treated her as if she were a child.”

Carlos looked sullen as he heard this. He said in a cold voice, “You won’t have annual leave this year.”
“What?”
Sam instantly regretted talking too much, lamenting the loss of his annual leave!

At the same time, Carlos looked out of the window with a cold gaze. He suddenly looked forward to this meeting and wondered the look on Edith’s face if she found out that her uncle was actually her husband.
He thought. “It’s getting more and more interesting!”
