Elvis was suffering beyond words, but he couldn’t beg for mercy. How could he know he would offend Carlos when he wanted to sleep with a random woman?

He wanted to kill Vanessa right now. How dare she set him up like this?!

If he could get out of here alive, he would never let the matter go.

Unfortunately, he wouldn’t have such a chance at all. He wouldn’t die, but he would wish he were dead.

“Send him to Brian and take good care of him.”

He spoke the last few words in a merciless tone. His voice had no emotion, and he sounded like a demon.

Sam trembled and said, “I’m on it. Mr. Lawson, where are you going now?”

“Where is she?” Carlos pretended to ask casually, but his tone was nervous.

After working for him for so many years, Sam naturally noticed it. He deliberately asked in a confused manner, “Who?”

When Carlos heard this, he narrowed his eyes and gave Sam a dirty look. Sam was so scared that he smiled bitterly and quickly replied, “Susan has already come to pick her up. Ms. White asked where Simon was, but Susan managed to fob her

off.”

“I sec. Take me to the villa now.”

Sam nodded and immediately went to fetch the car. They arrived at the villa in less than 20 minutes.

Meanwhile, Edith had eaten a lot before feeling she had returned to life.

Susan had fetched a doctor for her. The cold water didn’t harm her much, but she still had some wounds that needed to be treated. Otherwise, there would be scars.

When she was applying the medicine, a sudden knock on the door startled her. She couldn’t help tightening her grip and. touched the wound. She gasped and cried out in pain.

Outside, Carlos heard her voice and immediately became nervous. He was afraid she would do something stupid after being humiliated, so he opened the door and went in without thinking.

As soon as she entered, he saw her bare legs.

Edith was also stunned. Without thinking, she threw out the ointment in her hand and said, “You bastard! Get out!”

Seeing that she was administering the medicine, Carlos breathed a sigh of relief. He closed the door behind him.

She was fully clothed from her waist up, but her underwear had a ‘My Little Pony‘ emblem on it. Carlos laughed out loud at the sight of it.

“How old are you? Why are you still wearing such childish clothes?”

When Edith heard this, her face immediately turned red.

She quickly hid under the blanket and glared at him. “I respect you as a senior family member, but you must behave! You might have seen me naked, but I was forced to do so. You’re doing it again now, and you’ve gone too far. I’ll tell Simon!”

“Don’t be a baby. He’ll only deliver you to me on a plate if you tell him to. Do you want that?” Carlos asked with a smile. It was unkind, reminding her of her stupidity.
